    Time for some negativity:

    I dislike all of them. Except Zephyr.

    1. Ash?  Legs are still too short.
    2. Frost? Does not look like a warframe imo. Srsly... If you showed this to me outside of a devstream, I would 've guessed that this is a chara from some fantasy mmorpg
    3. Chroma? meh. just...meh. Too crowded with details. But for Chroma, I'll  wait till the actual 3d model is out. The concept art ... well... has a very unique style. Almost looks like a vector graphic- it probably is one. It might look different when the final 3d model is out.
    4. Zephyr. Just looks like the good old warframe. And while I do not like the design of normal Zephyr, I like this deluxe skin far better. Will get.

    I got one question though: Why is everyone acting like this was directed only at Rebecca? I mean, I understand that Twitter user responded to her, but he/she threatened all of DE, not just her. Not sure why people are acting like someone personally threatened her.

    Because the op said so :/ And tbh I also find that a little bit misleading.

    You can only know if you look at the tweet. Which was posted somewhere on the 1st page. But not everybody goes through all posts...

    Tbh that's just what I did today morning:

    I rad the thread "Rebecca got a death-threat" and I think my heart skipped a beat. After reading the thread I imagined that she got some private e-mail from an anonymous author, threatening to kill her and what not. And doxing and other sh**. In my first post I suggested that the author of the message should go to jail... uhm... which... is clearly overreacting.

    After being shown the actual message I felt really stupid. This ...the message is tasteless and stupid and the idiot who twittered that garbage deserves to get his a** kicked.... But it's  not really a serious death threat. It's stupid ... and yes... someone should teach that kid that you don't just threaten to murder someone... not even joking. But it is FAR from as devastating as the OP makes you believe.

    BUT I think that DE is getting a lot of sh** lately... so showing support can't be wrong- that thread is okay- It should be done for the right reasons tho.

    So far my final opinion.

    I don't think this is about rewards or emblems.

    Just about the experience... the lore that is missing together with the events.

    Don't worry... I doubt they'll bring back the super exclusive stuff. And tbh I also think they shouldn't.

    I remember that in the first devstream of 2015 they said they would bring back old events/alerts.

    Nothing happened so far.

    Unfortunately that makes me think that this is not high priority to them.

    Not to mention that it would require some additional work.... to make the events up to date.

     

    edit: personally I'd really like to see old events /alerts again. Especially Gradivus.

    yet still... even empty death threats are tasteless and they should not go unpunished.

     

    And just because you receive numerous death threats on a daily basis because of your job - That doesn't make them normal.

    Basically telling people to "Grow a thicker skin" is not an argument.

    Yeah... this is right. The "put them in jail"-statement was a bit rushed... I was shocked that someone would send a death threat to Rebecca.

    I haven't rad the threat yet - so idk if it sounds as if it's to be taken serious or not ....But either way - actions like that need to have a consequence (edit: I just realized that I sound like the stalker... oops XD)

    There...I changed it.

    If not jail which... might in certain cases be extreme, I would expect that person to get a fine.

    The punishment should depend on wether the threat is to be taken serious, or rather not ( they are all to be taken serious - but there are different lvls imo). In any cases - the threat should not go unpunished.

    Even if the person who made the thread is a hot headed 13 year old who doesn't even have the ressources to kill someone - this is about the principle: Making death threats is a crime.

    But I'll stop here because this is a thread to show support and not to discuss punishment for people who make death threats.

    Holy cow.

    Just yesterday I talked to a friend who did a lot of research on "gamergate" (it's for their diploma) - tbh I never bothered to inform myself about it.

    The only thing I know is that there was doxing and death threats involved.

    And we both agreed that- no matter what opinion you have in the gaming scene - Wishing someone harm /threatening them is absolute nonsense.

     

    Seriously- I hate to say this but.... It's just a game. And even if they decide to ...abandon warframe completely. NOTHING justifies threats of any kind.

    Whoever did this is a frikkin coward. And I hope they go to jail for this   get fined adequately.

    at thread... well I be honest... I haven't rad the whole thing.

    But about "nerfing everything into the ground": Look... Warframe is a game that changes ..constantly. Things get nerfed and buffed in an attempt to achieve balance. You guys will have to adapt to these changes. How many times did I have to change my fav weapon because my previous fav got nerf'd? But it's easy for me... I just deal with it. And I am always a bit curious too because this makes me try other weapons..... or sentinels *wink wink*

    Tbh I did not read the entire op.

    Just saying that I agree.

    I think the problem is that a lot of players joined after carrier was added to the game. So they never played without the use of vacuum.

    I did play before carrier came out... and I was doing fine.

    Someone argumented that there are far more drops now than there were back when carrier wasn't a thing. That might be true- I haven't played in a while. I still think it's possible to live without it.

    It also feels like a lot of players prefer the current meta over individuality. And they can't deal with nerfs because they are... too fixed in their way of thinking. Warframe is a game that keeps changing. And it requires you to adapt to those changes.

     

    and btw: to me, 5m vacuum for all sentinels doesn't sound too bad.
