  1. For ten it should be 250k like the large team restores bps, the five per mission limit is also ok, what I don't like is the 30 seconds lock in place after using the item, it should be 10 seconds, usually when you revive a teammate it takes about that time. Sure, repairing a sentinel is way more complex than spraying "healing spray" on a frame or kubrow but it wouldn't be fair in my eyes for the sentinels to take more time.

As for building materials, I suggested ferrite, salvage, polymer bundle and one orokin cell, yours make more sense but I'd replace the alloy plates with the orokin cell (I think sentinels are orokin aritfacts, so it'd make sense).

That's kind of the point, that's the offset for being able to repair the sentinel at any given time, though maybe 30 seconds was an exaggeration. 20 seconds should be fine then. We wouldn't want to make it too good you know?

As for resources I choose those most fitting Sentinel AND those that are fairly easy to aquire (people need Alloy/Control Module sink).

  2. Sentinels are pretty strong offering Guardian / Coolant Leak / Sanctuary and damage + utility.

I'd say that Guardian is simply awesome, Sanctuary needs a bit tweaking (sheltering while using consoles, life support or custom actions) but still is a very usefull mod but... Coolant Leak making Sentinels Strong?.... That's like 5% slow, it's barely noticeable...

Anyway, I agree, maybe a Repair Kit that immobilizes (and you cannot cancel) you at the place* of destroyed Sentinel for 30 seconds?

    Limit - 5 per mission

    Construction:

    Time: 60seconds - speed up 1 plat

Materials: 2k Salvage, 500 Circuits, 3k Alloy Plate and 3 Control Modules. 5k Credits?

    1 at a time.

Blueprint is a one time buy (like any restore BP).

    One - 15k credits

Ten - 300k credits   - also cost of building ten give you 10% "discount" to resources you'd use to build 10 with "One at a time" BP.

*remains of sentinel stay for the entire mission and cannot be moved

    How's that?

  3. Eyes of Blight was a fun event.

What was completely wrong about it:

    -Leaderboards overtaken by cheaters/exploiters

-Farming, lots of farming of resources

-Mission giving you 3-4k rewards after the first run

-crappy spawn system (if you tried go public you were most likely to burn revive)

-Archwing having almost no content and the existing one locked behind huge RNG grind

Besides "just" that it was cool, I enjoyed myself until I had to spend time to farm resources (and without boosters it was a chore) for mission with no almost no reward, not to mention that Vandal and mods you got were an utter Joke.

EDIT: Also when I thought about it two more things came up: Devs completely ignoring the obvious bugs until like half way through the event AND Fomorians having way too much health (too high Devs expectations) which resulted in lost relays and burnout players...

  4. 1.

-Oh who said about your arsenal? it's everybody else's and afterwards a friend swaps out. The day I got the Quanta Vandal, I went into a squad with two mesas that switched after each wave.

-He wanted the rewards so he went to get a pizza and I reported him. I know I'm a terrible person, right?

-Not all mesas play with a press 4 build, even though I admit it overshadows a lot of her other skills, until enemies get into the 100s.

Who likes a player who just sits on the pod all day and presses 4? It's not fun at all. This playstyle is extreme Viver reminding. Also how is an XP multiplier going to make things harder? Exactly it only makes it harder for the people who completionist who are extremely burntout.

    As for my personal information

    Mastery Rank 16

208 weapons and all the non primed weapons

Stuff Formad more than once: A S#&$LOAD. I don't have a maxed Narrow minded, Blind rage and heavy Caliber for nothing. I gotta get those mods on.

Who in the blazing hell needs mastery foddery? It's pathetic. The boltor prime only needs a mastery rank of 2. Is it really that hard to just level up guns that perform great enough?

Also I have been in this game for two years and 650 hours logged. That's realistic dude. Once I finished mercury I never came back, unless it was for apollodorus, Seer(the gun), and Ferrite.

    1.

-If you saw those two Mesas you could have just left, nobody forced you to get your weapon maxed by others.

-Still wondering with what kind of people you're playing with, and then theres AFK/being dead system that will not grant you any rewards at the end of the rotation. Also, this is example of a toxic game, i have no idea why would want to sit through it...

-here we are to blame DE for not thinking actually through the build of the frame, they knew the playerbase playstyle (bunker up and hold out), yet they still released frame with aimbot.

The burnout completionists will have it harder sure, but with them every other player, I don't see any reason to punish entire community with restrictions/penalties to some combos because some people overuse some combo.

As for the info: good to know, here I thought you're are some low MR whiner, glad to be wrong.

Also: everyone who wants to get higher MR has to go through mastery fodder and I don't even want to talk about bullS#&$ Boltor Prime...

Support me then. Throw away that boring leveling strategy for having fun to level something, I said the cap on levels gained from strategies like mesa and mag, but in exchange I want higher level multipliers.

Or we can just get higher multipliers on higher level enemies without hindering certain playstyles. What's more, how would you treat every single other frame that has huge AoE damage ability? Shared Affinity? Affinity Boosters? The last one would be just a bigger pay to win than it already is...

That's what I'm trying to avoid. When people are just trying to level they're weapons, they spam they're ulti like mad, and put the weapon away. It's ok to use an ulti for survival purposes, but this idea of racking up the most kills for xp is going to far. I want to cap the Mesa and mag combo, and reward players for actually figuring out how to use a weapon in high level content.

Yeah, without potato half weapons are trash, don't deny it. Even with it they need decent (12-23 for unpotatoed) level to just get in that Serration+one more mod or Hornet Strike with multishot unless you have enough cash to buy platinum and potato each and every weapon that even with that "few" levels to actually be usable in high level content without spending in the mission a hour (not to mention some ammo inefficient weapons requiring you to go through ammo restores if no mutator is present).

And too many of the people out there who believe I hate on Mesa's playstyle, -snip-

Wouldn't be true if it weren't for the fact that you only have something against Mesa/Mag combo.

    Anyway, bottom line is:

Problem - too many weapons that are crap AND progression system that requires you to go through weapons you dislike/hate/would want erased from existance (Tysis currently for me). Not to mention that Formaing weapons is a almost unrewarding chore (especially if you go through 5th forma and instead of loving your weapon you start hating it).

Your Solution: Lets make viable combos that shorten the above by puttings caps on XP while getting buff

How it should be in my eyes:

-More exp for higher level enemies (much more than we currently have, so in that regard we're agreeing)

    -Overhaul of Mastery Rank

-Buff for leveling Formad weapon (and putting more innate polarities into weapons, especially those "lower grade" ones)

-Actual balancing and tweaking of weapons so the "Mastery Fodder" would disappear or at the very least putting weapons in Tiers of sorts

    What DE does:

-you can always buy an affinity booster (not said directly but with no changes it's kind of implied)

-whaaaaaat? but all weapons are great, oh oh look Sheldons bald head! (meaning - dodging questions on Devstreams with bullS#&$)

-oh look, we're releasing a new weapon that some of you might like, see ya at next update with new shiny stuff

  5. Introduce two factors here:

    1) nightmare, Tenno get hit harder

    2) there is nothing I know of in the star chart that can inflict radiation with the exception of arch wing,

I think you weren't playing enough in the Void with your team members and death orbs... Ahhh the memories...

EDIT: wait, starchart? there's nothing there, nevermind xD

  6. So let me understand this.

You don't see the problem with being hoisted high in the air, against your will, as many times as the other player likes, interrupting your melee combo, perching you in a vunerable spot mid-air to be shot from every angle, to land where an explosive has killed everything around so there's nothing left for you and your solution is "just ground slam."  Why? To hit nothing on landing and be stuck in place from the ground slam lock time?  To be pigeon-holed in to using Jat Kittag for a prayer of actually getting to hit something?

And as far as your claim of Skana clearing T4 I would ask if it was solo work or team setting, frame used and time you went.  And if your claim is solo melee only, then I would ask for a video or it didn't happen.

    I don't mind cause:

If by any chance I'd have a troll in my mission I want to succeed in I will simply leave. (doesn't matter whether Solar System or Void)

If I'll get bounced more then once I can always direct melee in a safe direction if I'm in danger or if everything is dead I can move to next target.

Still, we've been past Valkyr, Vauban and Nova and I don't see DE making any counter measures against trolls that are % of community. I'd recommend just being patient.

As for Skana: Nova built around Power Strenght, Saryn with Molt Augment and been trying to work out Nyx/Rhino, and thinking of getting Synd mods for Zephyr... though just got an idea for trying out Volt when I get his Prime, should be fun. None Melee only, I use Braton/Burston to break bubbles, skills to wipe out maggots and then proceed to take my time with Gunners/Bombards melee. Also a third Exterminations and half Capture are done solo, rest with friends, otherwise I see it as a waste of key kinda. Other 4 modes are kind of  "ain't that pro/no-life to try that" to solo with melee mostly.

  7. for number 1, I mean for situations when someone just equips one weapon and goes peacemaker in a t4 def and asks if his greedy pull mag can join in. yeah not happening when he gets shot by a nullifer and has level 0 gear. I'm not reviving him, I'm going to make him wait through all 40 waves. So yeah Caping the people who ult spam to power level is needed.

For number 3, It would still be the same amount of XP, It's just that level, 1-15 would be easy and level 15-30 would be hard. Mods are everything to a weapon, so give the player a taste of real gunplay, and lessen the feeling of the weapon being a pain in the ! when leveling the it from rank 0.

    1. I have no idea with what kind of people you are playing but:

-Mesa can equip entire set of weapons/'sentinel with unranked weapon' and stand for 40h killing level 15-20 mobs (with infinite energy provided) and the progress on those weapons won't move by 1exp

-I'd really like to see someone who died early sit through 40 waves of T4 when he can simply extract...

-Not reviving your teammate you should be covering? (considering how mesa works) You're a S#&$ty teamplayer then because why take them for T4 in the first place? (or stay in such a team)

    3. 1-15 levels ARE easy and 15-25 are mediocre but last 5 levels are hard, especially after 4th or 5th forma you've put into a weapon. (cause you're sick of it)

Overall, I want to encourage gunplay

No you don't, you just dislike Mesa/Mag combo or any nuker in general.

If you would want to encourage Gunplay you would opt for giving more weapon polarities on start (a lot of weapons have no innate polarity slot or have D), changes to mods or simply increased exp for using the weapon. What you're proposing is simply making power leveling harder.

Tell me, what rank are you? How many weapons have you gone through? How many were Formad more than once? Once you start going through Mastery Fodder you don't have a choice but to power level unless you are someone with a loooooooot of free time.

The only thing I'd agree with is that higher level enemies need to give more exp, much more.

  8. Yeah... Remove it cause some guys troll at low level missions you're at apparently...

Personally I'd just recommend to quit mission when you see someone with Tonkor. I don't see people whine about Loki, Valkyr or Vauban... Why? People had their fun and moved on...

  9. Yeah so, I'm rank 15 and with it I have 7 Loadout Slots. Considering I have 19 Warframes (and "few" weapons) this doesn't seem enough.

Coincidently Mastery Rank system doesn't reward players much past rank 8.

Think giving one Loadout Slot per each Mastery Rank (along with D, E, F etc. weapon/warframe mod/appearance slot every 2) would be a nice start?

Seeing as we will not get Focus with Devs not having idea what do with it and even if they do come up with something - it's canibilized by something else (as stated on Devstream)

    What do you think guys?

Or hell, even make it 12 plats for a pair...

  10. Maybe when the Kohm was introduced the first time, i think that this is the case anymore

Strange, for me whenever I look at ammo as I shower rooms with pellets seems like it works exactly like that. Then again I'm using Shotgun Spaz and Accelerated blast...

  11.  Thank you, just to be precise does the 4 ammo consumption start on the first 10 pellet bullet or the next one? Do you recommend the weapon? It seams like a real ammo hog but it does a ton of dps, what do you think?

    1 pellet = 1 ammo

EDIT: above doesn't apply to multishot.

  12. I don't agree with Baro.

He should be EVERY full weekend and have ABCD rotations throughout the month. Each rotation would have both old items and new added each week. Or not added but still have all old stuff compiled (like A being Warframe mods, B being weapon mods, C being something etc).

    The rest is... fine..ish?

  13. A round of applause to SnakeWildlife and his "no life" grind suggestion

Nah. A round of applause to whoever is managing both Trader AND Items he will have.

I mean, why couldn't he appear every weekend? Have like 4 rotations (so even if you missed 1 item you can get it in next month) with each keeping everything it had with only new stuff added for each? But nahhh... better get that noggle, liset skin, kubrov skin OR sugarta...

  14. The simulator is a big disappointment. I so wanted to summon all Assasins and see them duke it out against each other or join the frey myself (unless they'd all shift focus on me, that would've been fun).

Instead we did get low level cap based on Mastery, limit to only 20 at a time, no special enemies (mostly) and it's solo. Not to mention that when you get out you're spawned at the relays "entrance"......
