Razorwing Blitz. Cast your other abilities while in Razorwing form and she gets up to +100% move speed AND damage

Titania is actually the fastest frame in the game. While the peeps were running experiments on Gauss and Volt (Gauss wins a sprint and Volt wins a marathon), Titania turned out to be easily five times faster than both of them if built right

Maybe its just a skill issue but i end up crashing into everything like a drunk june bug with titania as it is lol.

    Same thing with mach rush.

Titania pisses me off so much, she gets ONE augment, ONE, and the next day she becomes one of the fastest DPS warframes in the game...
but yeah basically what you said, it's definitely a massive quality of life for Gauss, and it doesn't really take much.

What augment? I dont use titania and am pretty unaware on the subject.

Has it ever been mentioned that consoles will get 120 fps support?

It has not been mentioned to my knowledge and i would not hold your breath for PS4/PS5, or xbox one, one x, or series x. Or series s.

MAYBE if the rumored PS5 "pro" or the inevitable beefed up successor to the series X have the beans to handle it we'll see it then.

But for the time being i think you'd have to play on PC to get that.

World on Fire in 2015 was no different than Titania with Thermal Sunder in 2024. The only reason World on Fire was nerfed was because there was a higher priority from the devs to address methods of AoE. World on Fire in today's Warframe wouldn't even be broken or out of place. Inferno isn't even a massive downgrade to World on Fire and it's still nothing crazy.

I think what OP is trying to ask for is Ember (an older Warframe without a strong presence like Volt, Rhino, or Saryn) getting brought up to par with every modern Warframe/rework that just makes them do everything by themselves. She's much better off than some Warframes though. It doesn't help that Helminth undermines so many Warframe skills that give them a reason to stand out (Fireblast, Thermal Sunder, Nourish, Eclipse, Roar, Elemental Ward, and so many others).

You used to be able to turn on world on fire, leave it on, and parkour through the map and any enemy within range under (whatever) level would instantly die.

You didnt have to recast the ability.

You didnt have to use a weapon.

You didnt have to aim, even in a general direction.

You didnt have to use any other ability.

You didnt really even have to worry about energy.

The most "OP" frames and weapons that exist today cannot do what that used to do.

You could do a level 15 mission with a kuva bramma and mesa and it wouldnt matter because for every time you had to stop bullet jumping long enough to cast an ability or aim, she could just cruise on through.

What i would do, is change her "overheat" mechanic but thats it.

    Melee Influence:

    On Melee Electricity Status
20% chance for elemental Melee Status Effects to apply to enemies within 20m for 18s. Cannot refresh while active.

In my subjective opinion and experience, I've noticed that when I'm building a melee weapon lately, there's nothing that can come close to the efficacy of a Melee Influence build*.  As long as the weapon has decent status chance, there's just no other build that can handle groups more effectively.  And while this is a really fun new way to play melee, it has me wondering whether it's so powerful that it's drowning out alternative choices.  Does a weapon have great crit stats?  Doesn't matter, because blow-for-blow, crits can't give me the same amount of damage output that building for Melee Influence's status application can.  Other arcanes?  I haven't found a build for one that can match up to Melee Influence.  For me personally, it definitely feels like Melee Influence has no realistic competition.

But let's be holistic here, because Melee Influence builds aren't without their downsides.  They thrive on clusters of enemies: the more enemies, the more procs and damage it's dealing.  Which means that a single durable enemy without any friends won't be taking much damage, and thus in this situation Melee Influence is most definitely out-shined by other builds.  But that's a really rare and exceptional situation to find yourself in a horde shooter, making Melee Influence feel like the melee build for general play.

And the thing is, from a design standpoint, I like what Melee Influence is doing here: it's found a way to make pure status into an effective killing tool.  I remember back in the day when I would hear about "crit builds" and "status builds".  Nowadays, if you want your weapon to kill, it's rare to see something that's just a status build, because the better answer to "crit build" or "status build" is "both in the same weapon", since we now have more than enough tools to do that.  So at least in my experience, I'm not seeing much that is pure status outside of primers...until Melee Influence.  So it's cool to see Melee Influence give life to an alternative strategy!  I just wonder if it may have tilted the scales a bit too much in the other direction.

Anyway, all of that is based on my subjective experience killing level 100-200 Steel Path enemies.  What are your thoughts?  I'm genuinely curious to hear others' perspectives on this.

*Something along the lines of Primed Fury, Primed Reach, Primed Pressure Point, +60/+60 Viral, +90 Electricity, Weeping Wounds, (flex slot)

It wouldnt surprise me if it gets nerfed.

And i think part of the issue is alot of the arcanes are just completely meh.

Like, 200 armor? Thats almost meaningless.

More damage but only if you have a crap ton of shield? Meh. Like we dont already have enough sources of "damage".

Crescendo? Feels irrelevant unless going for heavy attack builds and even that feels niche.

Influence? Probably one of the better options but only affects yellows.

Corrosive on cast? Probably one of the better ones.

It's really, really obvious if you're used to PC spawns.  It's even more obvious if you carry an enemy radar mod (or more than one).  It's even more obvious if you occasionally or regularly play Saryn.

The content I play most frequently are incursions on open matchmaking, which should feature high spawns due being bound to Steel Path.  The difference between a windows logo host and a swirly circle crossplay logo host is like night and day.

    See my earlier comment:

The ping limiter is fairly effective at preventing connections to laggy hosts.  I don't know that the ping limiter works properly with crossplay, but I'm not sure.

Even if that were true, and all i see so far is purely subjective anecdote without any proof to even back that up from a handful of people, id rather occasionally have lower spawn rates than laggy at connections because the game decides well theyre PC so what if their rig is a toaster running off of mcdonalds wifi 3 blocks away.

If this was true i shouldnt have to be "used to" pc spawns. I should be able to go into a steel path mission on my PC and see a difference.

The ship has already sailed here though. Retrospectively, I think the bonuses should have been kept to things like parkour, cast speed, status duration, etc., and Tau should have been something you can craft from a single share with a cost.

In this case, i think the ratio should just be lowered from 4:1 to 2:1, especially when you need to further reduce your Shards to use the new colors.

    I dont hate it.

If i get a non tau shard i can at least feel like its progress towards the goal of having full tau sets for the frames i use most, whereas before it was just "oh great L reward im not ever gonna use or care about".

But when you consider youd literally need 8 freaking shards just to make 1 tau of the new colors, that seems rediculous.

If the new shards were meant to be clearly better overall than the base 3, then the extra high investment cost would make sense.

    But they're not.

  9. You can roll a riven 300 times and have a garbage roll. Or get a perfect roll as soon as you unveil it.

The multiple layers of RNG involved, should be reworked imo.

    >do you get 2 or 3 buffs

    >are the buffs actually relevant or useless stats like +zoom or +impact

    >do you get a neg or not

    >is it a good neg like -zoom or does the neg ruin it

    >what are the grades.

Do I expect DE to do it? No.

But i wish they would. Whether it was stat locking or changing the RNG odds or something else.

"But that would be op!": dont care. Theres already so many "op" rivens out there.

"But the value of muh rivens": dont care.

Console players hosting are bad at more levels than you realize.

Lets say you get 1000 stoneniums/hour with PC host
This means you get 300 stoneniums/hour when console is hosting because the spawnrates are sometimes less than 30% of pc host

Computers are connected to lan, this means pc connection is always more stable than wifi devices like switch and phones. Which should give them priority even ignoring the spawnrate issue.

And lastly, when your mission is to kill x enemies (for example kill 1000 enemies in survival mission bounty  it takes literally 10 times longer with console host

    What should happen
    >PC host priority(this is better experience even for the console player)
    >If console is the host, scale rewards and missions to the smaller ammount of enemies spawned, if 50% less enemies  spawn then give people 50% more reward per kill
If the bounty is kill 100 enemies, make it 50.
If you need 10 fissures to open relic, drop 50% more fissures. Do not punish people for playing with people with console hardware.
    >Turning off crossplay on PC still connecting you to PC users that have crossplay on in case it can build computer party, if computer party can not be done then enter the prolonged search of pc users

When connecting to console host I feel like crazytown visitor, with around 3 enemy spawns/5minutes in survival. Forcing us to just spam the life support machines to not fail.

Im not sold that spawn rates are even different solely based on whether host is pc or console.

If I go run say, steel path kuva survival solo, its the same for me as if i join a PC host. Or play on PC myself. Because cross save. Im more inclined to think theres another reason for the perceived spawn rate variance between matches.

But hey, devil's advocate, maybe I'm wrong. Regardless.

Can we not pretend that just because someone is playing on PC, that automatically means they have the best connection quality out of the group and the session wont ever lag like hell?

I want the game to pick host based on how well the network will perform. Thanks.

And can we not pretend that all PC's are the same? Its not like every PC player had 4x 5090 GPU's stuck together and 64 terabytes of GDDRX69 RAM.

IMO his 2 and 3 are OK, it's his 1 and 4 that desperately need buffing.

    - Spectral Scream should be converted to the damage calculations used by beam weapons after they were reworked, instead of the current status-per-second setup. even without tweaking the base damage of the ability this would result in an immense sustained DPS increase because it would be applying several times per second. the visuals should also reflect this, with it appearing as a true concentrated jet of flame with a noticeable AoE at the impact point of the stream. look up basically any image of a fantasy dragon breathing fire and you'll see what I mean.

    - Effigy should act like an exalted sentinel, with independent flight and attack patterns, and significantly reduced energy consumption or a set duration and cost. damage should be buffed and being able to apply Vex Armor, elemental ward to allies independently would also be kind of neat IMO.

I think his 1 should be scrapped entirely.

Im not saying what youre suggesting is a bad idea, but i dont think its enough and i dont see it scaling very well.

His 4 being an "exalted sentinel" is an interesting concept. Right now its just bad.

His damage buff i wish theyd look at too, between arcanes and galvanized shot (and equivalents) "+900% serration damage" isnt that great.

So for those that are unaware there is an arcane called melee duplicate

It has an interesting effect , it effectively adds multishot to your melee on a regular (yellow) crit ,

This means that if you have orange or red crits ,  you don't benefit from it at all. That's one of the reasons why I am not too bothered by it being so rare.

That got me thinking , maybe that's one of the ways we could curb some of the power creep we have.

Maybe not something as extreme as becoming nearly useless. But what if any special effects (like DoT status procs and multishot) are limited to base crit multipliers and only the main damage gets the additional multipliers of reaching higher crit tiers.

Yes , it's technically a nerf but it should only affect extremely broken loadouts and not affect moderate ones.

Edit : For additional  clarity, it would not reduce the chance to proc any status , it would only affect how powerful the proc is (by virtue of crit multipliers) . Right now a status proc tic on orange crit is a lot more powerful than on yellow crits. I am saying if a weapon does get an orange crit , it's status tics would be only as powerful as a yellow crit and not orange crit. The direct damage would be unaffected.

    For example:

    Base damage : 100

    crit multiplier : 2

    Yellow crit damage: 200

    orange crit damage: 400,

If a DoT is procced ,

Yellow crit proc : based on 200 damage ,

Orange crit proc : also based on 200 damage.

    No.

I don't exactly know where to post this, but i have a specific issue with Liches and Sisters that i am pretty sure doesn't only affect me.

When buying a Sister or Lich, nothing warns you, that it is not possible to sell them again after completing the hunt. So i thought i was being smart and captured a sister with a horrible weapon, that has the cold element to make matters worse.

now i have a sister that i cannot sell again, and is literally impossible to get rid of while she is negatively impacting my gameplay.
    not only does she:
    - decrease the chance of spawning my lich, that has a personality i like *and* a kuva nukor to prime enemys for me, but she also:
    - is directly impacting my missions in a negative way, by spawning a snowglobe that blocks my projectiles.

and after reaching out to the support about my issue all they could tell me is, that they can't do anything to help me at all and if i want something done about it, i have to raise awareness in the forums.

so please, i don't even want the weapon, sure, thats my fault, but please just give me an option to end my contract with her at ticker or any way to just get rid of her! cause i know it's not a huge issue in general, but a system that punishes you for one error (with nothing indicating that it will result in any issue mind you) by permanently and irreversably adding something to your account isn't a good system in my opinion.

I clicked this thread expecting it to be another "i cant skip my lich reee" thread.

I was wrong, and thats a good point.

I think he has a valid criticism about how movement works with some of the stances.

Sometimes the ideal scenario is to stand next to an enemy nand continue hitting it until it dies but the stance excessively moves you forward for no good reason automatically.

Its why out of all the melee weapons in the game i started using about 3 of them and ignore the rest.

I mean, they are still strong as ever.

There is even the new precision intensify mod that exists although I think that is quasi bugged with exalteds so we will have to see if that gets fixed.

    Oh that isn't enough?

Points to new elemental Archon Shards.

    Points to Archon mods.

Points to new WF IC Mod.

Points to Crimson Archon Shard, and the other two.

    Points to WF arcanes.

What do you mean they are becoming obsolete? They gotten more tools to play with in the past year and a half then they did when they were released!

Am I the only person that is just realizing how much power can be given to exalted weapons that people just aren't using and are neglecting in favor of calling them obsolete? Just because they aren't getting anything direct doesn't mean they are going anywhere or in danger of becoming obsolete anytime soon. Hey look this guy thinks Mesa and Baruuk 4 is obsolete, said no one ever! Meanwhile I am over here realizing there is some busted synergy with archon flow on a Twin to upkeep its staff drain it has or looking at the new archon shards for synergy. Yes there is some problems with specific ones like Talons having some bugged synergy interactions that only I seemed to manage to find since nobody else took the time to equip two mods and some other exalteds simply existing like balefire but as a whole I do not think they are in danger of being classified as obsolete.

All of those things apply to melee weapons too. It isnt like exalted or pseudo exalted weapons have gotten any buffs that melee weapons *havent*.

Garuda's talons are now irrelevant. You're significantly worse off than if you used say, venka prime and thats not even considering the fact riven mods exist.

    6 hours ago, -CRONO- said:

The problem I see with some of the points made by Numerounius and Agall is that things like Archon Shards and Warframe Arcanes can ALSO affect regular melee weapons, which DO NOT require constant energy to be used (and have access to mods like Blood Rush and Rivens). Plus, for an Exalted you ALSO have to change your Warframe Build around it (something that isn't really needed for the use of a regular melee weapon).

I understand that regular melee weapons would be disregarded completely without all the things they have at their disposal, but with the new Melee Arcanes not being eligible on Exalted Melees it feels like I have to change too many things around the ability when regular melees DO NOT require the constant use of energy or changing a Warframe's Build (or using the Grimoire thing, for example).

But then again, I haven't done a full analysis to check if the trade-offs of Exalted Weapons are still objectively justified for the power they can give (I'm just saying it feels like that's not the case anymore).

    My personal opinion is:

Baruuk is is probably fine because the stats are so good, his augment is so good, and his 4 has such a massive AOE.

Wukong is debatable but should probably be able to.

Excalibur isnt good enough in his current state.

Garuda's talons should absolutely be able to.

    9 minutes ago, ShogunGunshow said:

Like, all those are nice, yeah. But the arcanes add a lot.

Also exalted weapons still not being able to use acolyte mods in 2023 is just so antiquated.

    The arcanes absolutely add alot.

  19. According to Pablo its supposed to be like the red shards. Its meant to give higher crit chance % wise but at the cost of having to build stacks.

Also because apparently theres some conflicting info out there, they are supposed to stack and it appears they're still bugged in terms of building stacks.

I cant say im shocked because 150% flat crit chance buff for secondaries just from 2 tau shards seemed "too good to be true" but thats a bit of an oof. Oh well.

I tested it in a few steel path missions and the simulcrum and honestly even as it is right now it doesnt really feel worth using. It takes way longer than it should to build stacks.

Mesa's might be better off just taking the red shards in crit chance or putting in 2 green shards in corrosive stacks so you can 100% strip armor.
