The story behind the current series doesn't support a permanent installment.  Nightwave's set up lends itself to short stories, pop up villains that we beat down and get rewarded for.

Plus, DE likes reoccuring rewards.  The Wolf armor and other Wolf specific items may get added to the reward pool of something else or even his own drops but pretty much everything else in the reward tiers will make a come back.  (and are already in the open game drop tables)

The only way this is bad for returning players is that they wont get the top tier rewards on this go round.  DE's history shows everything else is coming back.

They were also quite clear on it all coming back again.  I’m also hoping that they just release loads of them so that they all overlap at some point two or three years down the road.  It’d be fun to see players min maxing their weekly reward potential and writing guides about it.

I’m kind of burnt out on them though.  If there’s one that overlaps my agenda or sounds fun I’ll do it.  Otherwise, I’m just going to do whatever I want now.

So here I'm running into issues with people getting angry with each other with prices. So say you want to sell something and it may be what you think it is worth in your own time and value for the items and then that something is vaulted. You put the item and price you want to sell it for in the trade chat then someone tells you hey its not worth that price just look at warframe.market its a lot cheaper. Then things get heated you both get mad at each other because they are ridiculing you for your price and they think you are scamming them. In short there is a lot of toxicity going around and I feel its a problem. Or maybe its not! Tell me what you guys think. Tell me your reasoning and evidence of these problems. Tell me what we can do to fix it or not fix it if you think there isn't a problem going on. Thank you for you time and I hope to see some creative responses to this!

The first problem is getting mad for any reason.  Just let it go.

You: I’m selling awesomeness primes 35p

them: awesomeness Prime is worth only 30p that’s all I’ll pay.  Check Warframe market.

You: well I’m selling it for 35p.  Best of luck to you.

    Them: it’s 35p *.

You: okay.  Well I hope you find it for that much. If you can’t then I’ll be here selling it for 35p.

    Them:*

    you: have a nice day.

Use whatever variation of that conversation you feel fits.  Being nice in the face of rudeness is always quite entertaining in online games.

Why would you think Umbra mod polarity == Excalibur Umbra's unique passive?

DE has suggested that other Umbral frames will come.  I hope they have the same functionality as Excalibur’s.  The only caveat being they really need to give operators more functionality.  One of my biggest gripes with DE is that they rarely flesh out a game mode after releasing it.  Archwing is great, theres zero incentive to play it.  Hover boards are great, but why would I choose them over archwing to travel? Operators are great, but function pretty poorly.  They need to flesh things out better.

  4. I still fight him.  I just wish the fight was at least a little more interesting.  If he happened in waves and did more interesting attacks and stuff.  One thing DE is NOT good at is creating engaging boss fights. I would love it if they took a page or two from some games that are well known for their fun boss fights.

  5. I’d rework him to be more like Sun Wukong.

    1. Could be him throwing his hair to turn into copies of himself that CC enemies.

    2. Can stay the same.

    3. Since Sun Wukong can move very quickly, allow him to increase his speed while activated.

    4. Give each of his combos the ability to have one of his magical effects like blocking can slow enemies.  One combo can do cold damage, another can do blast damage to blow enemies away, and so on.

I think it it would fit the character’s personality and description better, and make for more interesting and fun gameplay.

  6. Not really on topic but I reallly feel the focus school’s should give us more incentive to play the operators.  They could be expanded to give us additional abilities and mobility.  Make playing in tandem with all of your warframes like Excalibur Umbra a thing.  Also, calling for operator mods as well.

  7. I’ve been playing for ages and the draw is still challenges.  I can pop into a survival with a frame and see if I can go beyond my personal best.  I can join a defense with some clan mates or friends with everyone usingthe same loadout and see who can get the most kills.  I love trying to min/max different weapon & frame combos. Sometimes it works and sometimes I blow a ton of forma on an absolute catastrophe.   It’s less about “doing it” in the end game right now and more about “what can you achieve.”  I’ll admit to it feeling a bit stale from time to time.  Everyone eventually feels a little burnout every once in a while.

*one of warframes best buttons in the arsenal section is the Randomize button. It’ll surprise you with the crazy stuff you can get.

  8. I’m kind of surprised n the fence.  I u derstand the view that “once you’re at thirty you’re done,” but I also understand the “this is it(?)” reaction of players as well. Maybe something that can meet everyone halfway.  For example, you get a chance for a rare mod, wraith/vandal piece, or legendary core every five levels afte thirty. It’ll incetvize those who don’t have those things to continue playing, but not be an over the top reward that looks unattainable to other players.

  9. Don’t use plat to complete crafting.  Start something one day and then another the next, and so on.

Other than that olaybthe way you want.  If your primary objective is map and quest completion then go for it.  I knew there was a lot to do when I signed up and the biggest beef was the learning curve.  So, I focused on soloing the entire map.  There weren’t any quests at the time so that was all I had to do.

There’s literally so much stuff to do I would make mini goals each week.  Things like “I’m going to craft five weapons and level them up” to start.  There are oodles if easy to craft weapons that you can level up in whatever way you want, but I’d suggest endless missions that give you void relics.  You’ll get used to a tougher element of the game, get MR, and start loading up on relics.  Once you’ve gotten through a few weeks of that you should have enough relics and void traces to start framing Prime parts.  Juice up those relics look for a farm team and start getting busy.

  10. I just hold off until is see something I’m interested in at a fair price.  The most I’ve ever paid for a riven is 800 for something I really wanted to try out.  I maxed out with purchases really early on in the riven game for 50-80 for all my available slots plat back when they first came out.

  11. I think a rework is not necessary. It definitely needs some tweaks based on the most common gripes I see on the forums.   Things like use forma, *** with a friend, not having enough time to complete them, get 60% of the missions for all rewards, etc are all perfectly valid concerns.  I’m not having a problem with them but I can understand the concerns of those that do.  One solve would be to let them keep their progression and continue when it comes back.  For those that finished it, they can get a whole new round of rewards past the ones they’ve already received the previous season.  It would reduce the stress for those with problems finishing and further reward those who did.

if i'm not wrong, DE some devstreams ago showed that Hydroid is the second one in being less played in the whole game for every mission type.

Perhaps, I don’t remember to be honest, it is, but it’s still going to be a question of farming.  Hydroid plays very differently from Keira though.  Nekros is the better choice because of the level of mobility.  Hydroid does need some love though.  His abilities are awesome, but aren’t that exciting. He’s also really squishy.

  13. The arenas themselves are set. However, I think it’s fairvto ask for more.  It might be cool to create a seasonal system that introduces new maps. The top teams in each season could get rewards like cosmetics or whatever.  It’d be incentive for the devs and players.  I’d be interested in a competitive aspect to it to see how far I can go with a well planned out team.

  14. It’s both.  It’s solo and team based. DE generally does a very good job of taking both into consideration.  However, just solo does create a handicap of no support. Coop play with randos is essentially solo play though, as most people kind of run off and do whatever.  Coop with a carefully crafted team that min maxes their entire group is a nearly unstoppable force, but you may be locked down into a single thing/place/role. All three types are equally as enjoyable for a variety of reasons, and pretty much all content can be done with them.

  15. Things that require a resource investment the player would otherwise not (want to) use.

    OKAY

    collect orokin detelict mods

    NOT OKAY

    use three forma

gainining the items to do orokin derelicts isn’t that much of an investment.  Doing three forma -potentially- requires a real money investment or using a resource you’re saving for the future or wasting it on something you don’t want. You can easily trade derelict mods for plat.
