    So, earlier today I started to work again, but I only played like 2 missions. I'll try again later, but glad you found a solution, if it doesn't work I'll try that. 

     

     

  2. So... I was trying to play earlier today and tried it again a few minutes ago and I kept having the same issues with matchmaking. Everytime I tried joining a random squad, like fissures, sortie and SO, it would start searching for it (which would take a while doing that), but it would never match and I would start alone. But, once I was in the mission, people seemed to be able to join me. Normaly this would not be a problem, but sometimes my internet gets all messed up and that can be a trouble for other players when I'm hosting, which is why I avoid doing it whenever I can. I would like to know what is happening, specially since I already did some tests and eveything was normal. You can check what I did below:

    • Restarted the game;
    • Restarted the PC;
    • Restarted the internet;
    • Changed regions ;
    • Changed the ms limit (300, 400 and no limit);
    • Checked if my internet was working (it is);
    • Checked if the place was empty (it wasn't, once I tried entering the plains directly from navigation and it had more than 30 open squads, but it wouldn't match);
    • Tried to change to solo than public again, same with invite and friend only; 
    • Deleted and created another session (that thing that happens everytime you open and close navigation);
    • Opened another segment like froundry and then tried to join a squad (that was a clan mate idea, he said whenever he was having trouble to find a squad, it would be fine if he did that); 
    • Went to a relay (and dojo), back to orbiter an tried to find a squad; 
    • Tried to cancel the search and start it all over again

     

    The printscreen below is an example of how it would stay for a while and after almost a minute it would just start with only me in the squad. I really wanna know what is happening and what can I do to fix it. Thanks in advance.

  3. Yeap, same happened to me. I also have the 2-factor on and tried to relog (and the other person too). Seems like all public areas (dojos, relays, cetus and fortuna) are down. People were talking about it in the region chat. We can't see each other and, therefore, we can't trade.

  4. Same issue here! Just notice while I was running some spy missions by myself and wasn't seeing the smoke neither the trail when I'm walking/running. Then a fellow tenno invited me for a try and it was showing while I was playing with him. Whenever im playing solo it won't show.

  7. So, first things first! I actually found the Nightwave content very enjoyable. It's something different, good rewards and a great dinamic. But, that being said, I do think the some stuff should get a little extra look at. So I have some ideas I would like to share and, maybe, help you guys out! 

     

    1. Friends and Clanmates quests: For some players (me included) the "freind or clanmate" thing isn't great. I mean, some of us just don't have time or don't want to. Take me for example, Im studying for my entrance exam which means I dont have time to focus on the game. And when I do have time, it's only just a couple of hours, that usually don't match with my clanmates play time. On top of that, sometimes we just don't want to get social. Sometimes I just want to enjoy something on my own, be away from all the S#&$ty things the real world slaps my face with. So, since your intention is to reach thet most of the players, I think I have a sulution for that (maybe someone already posted something similar, I couldn't know since Im out of time to actually read all these amazing ideas from the comunity).

    2. The solution: Make the friend and clanmates a bonus thing. How would that work? It's quite simple: Remember when Fortuna was introduced and a new way to make the bounties? Complete a bountie and the bonus requests and you'll get your standart reputation plus a bonus. Now, just aply that to the Nightwave. Complete the quest without friends or clanmates and you'll get the standart reputation, complete with a friend/clanmate and you will get the bonus. That way all players can enjoy all of the rewards, and some of them will have extra points to expend on the shop. That could be aplied to survival missions aswell. Just think about it: 60minutes straight is kinda exhaustive and (like I said before), not everybody got time for that. so, make the time accumulative. As long as you reach the 60min, you'll get the standart reward. Completed all the 60min in just one run? Great!  Bonus reputation for you. That way you can motivate players to interact and do the "harder stuff", while the ones that don't want that can still enjoy the Nightwave at its fullest.

    3. Rare things: One of the issues we found was the ayatan thing. Since the sculptures are hard to find, maybe changing them for stars? They're easier than the sculptures to obtain, but would still require some runs. 

    4. Sortie missions: Maybe make the quantity a little lower? 3 would be a good number, not that hard to complete, even if we have just a short ammount of time in our weeks and weekends. Just to be clear, some of us don't have time EVEN in the weekends, so it would actually help us A LOT. 

     

    So, this is some of the things I came up with and I hope it can be used to improve our experience with the game and this new content. Overall is a really great addition to the game, just need some revise to it to make it more fun to everyone, or at least most part of the playerbase.

  8. So I'm kinda upset right now and the problem is: I can't fish! It doesn't matter if I'm in big lakes or caves, if it is warm or cold; nothing matters because fishes won't spawn. On top of that I can't find any hotspot in caves and I have looked in pretty much all of them. And there's more: when I've finally found one cave hotspot, the fishes didn't spawned. I've spent 2 baits trying to get Synathids because I need the materials for my Gaze components and I can't get them because while Im using my baits in cave hotspots, fishes just won't appear. Seriously, not even one! I mean, at least make the baits something we can keep crafting and not spending rep everytime we want one. And please fix the fishing or change the materials for something that we can actually get in the game. 

  9. So... Fortuna is coming and with it we'll get our precious gore frame: Garuda. Even though I could not be more excited about everything, I'm still a little bit concerned about Garuda's ult. Her kit seems pretty cool and fun, but the fact that she has visible weapons attached to her arms that we cannot use left me a bit disappointed. So, even if none of the people behind DE/Warframe sees it, I would like to give a suggestion or at least show what I would like to see in a frame like Garuda. 

    First, I would like to have an exalted weapon as her ult. I know that this is a "polemic" subject in the community, but I think that an ult like that would fit her pretty well and it would be very fun to play with. Garuda's "propaganda" is that she is a gore but elegant frame. That being said, it would be nice to see her "playing" with her claws as in a dance (ballet moves, maybe?) and while doing so, slashing her enemies in a pretty gore style. But how that would work is interesting as well. 

    The idea is that everytime Garuda deals damage to enemies, through skills or weapons, she would stack their blood which latter would be use as energy for her ult. So, in that sense, instead of using energy like other exalted weapons we already have in the game, she could use her enemeies blood, which would have a max capacity (not scalable with mods) that would consume the blood to keep the ult on. Of course, while in that mode she wouldn't be able to stack more blood, preventing it to become an eternal thing. On top of that, since the combos would be like a dance, she could receive an evasion debuff that instead of making her invencible (like valkyr, for example), it would only prevent some damage. That evasion buff could be increase with power strength. (I know that such system would require some changes in the other skills she has in her kit, but I think that it could work.)

    I see this ult having sinergy with power strength and duration builds, increasing the overall damage and reducing the amount of blood she consumes to keep the ult on. Although I'm not a developer/designer, so I don't know if any of this is possible, I would like to see and play with something similar. Also, I think that it fits pretty well Garuda's theme. 

    Finally, even though we might never seen something like that on Warframe, I would like to see your thought as players about this idea. Can't wait for Fortuna and as usual, we all lift together!

Umbra has a living being inside so trying to jump back into a living body rather than a shell causes the transference static.

    To your point of most players only quickly jumping into operator for certain buffs, Umbra's transference static is definitely a detriment to those players. Personally, I don't jump into operator for a short amount of time often. Usually it is once in the beginning of the mission for Zenurik and most times when teammates are down in an exposed area with high level enemies.

    In fact, the normal / prime versions of warframes also receive the debuff, but only when the operator dies outside the warframe. And the point is that when you are playing alone or being the host, these bugs do not happen, which clarifies that this is really a bug and not something that is part of the Umbra's lore. About using the tenno just to provide buffs, my gameplay style is a bit like yours. I mean, I'm used to using the zenurik school at the beginning if the mission is shorter and during the mission if it's longer, like defenses or survival, but sometimes I use the tenno to get to some point on the map faster than I would if I did parkour - (which I suck btw, I always ended up hitting some wall hahaha).

    I don't think that make sense, since the umbra can be hurt while the operator is out of him, so that's the real cost for having him as a backup while you're using your tenno. Especially in cases where operator isn't really used to battle - like me and a lot of other players that uses the operator (in regular missions) only to provide certain buffs (like the energy field from Zenurik). When we use it that way there is no actual time for the umbra act as a backup, because you use the buff and go back to the warframe immediately. So... this is a "cost" that doesn't worth it and doesn't really make sense.

  12. Hey, I'm having a some issues with umbra since "The Sacrifice" was launched. I hope I give the details correctly, so everyone can understand what I'm trying to say (english is not my first language). 

     

    1st Bug - Umbra and the Transference Static Debuff

    Until now I didnt actually "care" for the Transference Static Debuff because it wasnt something that always happened, since, in regular missions, I only use the tenno just to get energy from Zenurik school. That being said, I've never knew what this debuff was about until now. After some digging I discovered that Transference Static will happen if your operator dies while he is out of the warframe, bringing him back to the armor and giving you a heath decrease for a amount of time. The problem is: when I'm using Excal Umbra, it doesn't matter if I die or not with my operator. Every time I go in and out of my warframe I'll get the debuff, and the more I use my transference stronger is the debuff. It really doesn't seems like it is meant to be that way so I hope you guys can check it out soon. 

    New information:  Sometimes I've lost shield as well, even though there wasn't any enemy around. 

     

    2nd Bug - Camera Going Crazy

    I know that sounds fun but it actually is not! This bug always happen when I am at some mission with a party. Every time I go out my Excal Umbra with my operator and return, the camera goes a lot crazy and changes directions making me lost in the game and annoyed. It seems more like a delay for coming back to my warframe. It goes a little like this: I go out with my tenno, use my dash to provide me with a energy field and then I come back. But, after comming back, everything seems fine so I start walking again, after 1sec (maybe 2), the camera will change direction as if im returning in that moment to my warframe. Several times I ended up being stuck in some hole in the map and its really annoying ç.ç

     

    Tests on Simulacrum 

    For both of the bugs I've runned tests on simulacrum and these were the results: they only happen when im at some party, which make me think that these bugs are results of some hoster issue. The transference debuff (in simulacrum) only happened when my operator was killed and the camera bug never happened (in simulacrum). 

     

    I love all the content you guys brought this week and I know that sometimes s*** happens. But I really wish you can look at this things I've pointed out and solve them ❤️
