Well if you're that concerned about the amount you're running (and I question the 50 attempts on khora) then you could have always just spent the time farming some prime parts or rivens etc and traded them instead, as I said earlier you don't even need to buy plat so in my view there is nothing particularly wrong with equinox drop rates, it just seems worse because it needs 8 instead of 3 or 4 parts....

I wouldn't be so sure to question. When I farmed Khora I had 7 main blueprints before I finally got systems. Its random, so there is definitely a chance that a player can fail to get the Systems blueprint after many, many runs. I had well over 50 Zone 8 runs before I got the Systems blueprint.

But it is free, ya just have to play the game to get it. And playing is supposed to be fun. I had a ton of fun getting khora's systems bp. Frustrating at times? Sure, but I still enjoyed playing. That's why I play the game - to have fun. Getting stuff adds to the fun. It seems to me that there are a fair amount of people that lose that perspective, or possibly never had it in the first place.

    Smart move,

I built 3 of each, one for Crit, one for hybrid (like the one I suggested here) and one for full status.

They are all Uber powerful, but the hybrid tends to be more useful and scalable than the others, for most runs especially long survival.

    Enjoy your builds 😄

thanks man. I built the one exactly as you suggested and took it out for a spin. Oh man... You are correct. I spawned 6 lvl 115 Heavy Gunners in the simulacrum and it mowed them down in about 8 seconds. My crit build did ok too, but took more like 11 or 12 seconds. So I feel I'll build one more for full crit and see whatI can do with it, like you did. Both are fine for normal starchart stuff but the hybrid one definitely scales better for higher level content, like you said.

Thanks again for helping me with this stuff, I really appreciate it!

You can definitely build for full Crit and you will not suffer, considering your riven has CRIT Chance

However I will be making an alternate suggestion, you might need to build a different zaw for it.

My suggestion is to have a zaw with

Plague keewar (duh),plague bokwin, ekwana jai.

    This will net you

    Speed : 0. 933

    CC: 14%

    SC: 29%

As for mods you should have :

Primed pressure point (or the regular one), blood rush, condition overload, 2xdual status, drifting contact, riven.

The last mod can be one of

Organ shatter,Primed Reach, Primed fury (or other speed mod)

You can also replace the primed pressure point with one of the above mods, you might lose some dps but will have much better utility.

If you have Naramon then you can replace drifting contact with another dual status mod.

You should have CC of 25%,SC of 75% at the end of modding, so it works as an excellent hybrid,

you should be getting Condition overload boosted orange crits in no time.

awesome man, thank you for your input. I knew I was being not dumb when I decided to get multiple of the plague parts. It was the first zaw that I built so I figured it would NOT be my best lol. So after reading up a bit I decided to just ask our community straight out, and this was precisely the kind of answer I was looking for. I have all above said mods, including the primed versions, to do this build too, so I'm gonna get to my foundry and start building. I also have Naramon too and man is it fun to melee with!

Thank you to both of you for your input, I greatly appreciate it!

  4. awesome, thank you for your input. I have all said mods for the most part in my build including primed fever strike for some elemental. I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on something like condition overload with weeping wounds, but since my zaw is more heavily favored for crit,  I've left those out. I definitely get the slash procs along with virals as well. Its by far my best melee setup, outclassing my kronen prime with a crit chance and crit damage riven and my rabvee with crit chance, status chance and channeling efficiency riven. Those are still fun tho lol

  5. So I have a Plague Keewar riven and rolled it with these stats:

    73.5% Crit chance

    126.7% Damage

    65% Channeling Efficiency

I built a plague pole arm with the keewar head, plague bokwin pole and the link was I believe the vai jarheet II. It basically has 24% crit chance and 16% status, I believe. More crit than status. I'm on my phone so I dont know exactly. Anyways, after reading a debate about how to build the Mewan I was beginning to wonder if I could strengthen my builds. I usually have at least two builds - one for melee maining and built with blood rush + combo counters, and another for supplementing with more damage mods.

I also have several extra parts from the Plague Star event because I figured I might wanna try to build a different weapon that could work better.

Anyways, I'd appreciate some input. I recently put a few builds up against some Heavy Gunners in Simulacrum and chose one I felt performed best.

Oh and btw, Ive done the whole spin to win with Maiming Strike and I'm bored with it now. Especially because with Melee 3.0 coming out I feel spin to win will likely get changed significantly. And I'm bored with it, did I say that?

    Thank you fellow Tenno

  6. each number refers to the rank with the quills it takes to unlock to get it. so after the mote amp you must be rank 1 to get the tier 1 parts. then, the first number refers to the prism, the second the scaffold, the third is the brace. so 223 would be a tier 2 prism (shwaak), tier 2 scaffold (shraksun) and tier 3 brace (lohrin)

Mesa is still good for this mode but there's some BS bsing taking place.

Previous defense mission on Earth defense tileset I died as Mesa 3 times. I had full shields and full health. Shatter shield is up.
I jump up to get one of the stray targets that's sitting on the top spawn areas. I explode and die instantly.

No idea what hit me. No other enemy around other than the one marked by the red cursor that is currently out of line of sight because they are sitting/afking at the top spawn areas.

This happened 3 times. It's making me think that the only truly viable frames for this mode are never die frames. Even Limbo isn't worth cheesing with because you can catch a stray bullet at 9:46 while recasting and you lose.

there are heat vents on a tileset on earth for defense missions. if you go high enough they will mess you up. (I believe they are heat vents, someone else can correct me if I'm wrong)

don't worry, you'll have to do it all again for Revenant.. I hope you like T5 bounties.

I actually got Revenant Neuroptics, as well as chassis and systems just from levelling up my ostron standing. so that was a sweet side bonus. so RNGesus was lookin out for me there

    Happy to help!

Rift torrent gives 30% increased damage per enemy affected by rift surge, not 30% overall. So with one enemy you'll get 30%, with two you'll get 60%, ten 300%, twenty 600%. With enough enemies around, the buff increases past any other raw damage buff. I have a bit more power strength than most suggested Limbo builds to capitalise on this - so I get 39% per enemy, which means the buff builds up that much faster. Since I'm spamming his three a lot when I want to keep a high buff, I also have more efficiency. Like I said during my post, this comes at the cost of range, but this doesn't affect me too badly. If anything, it's a boon to team play and keeps me safer from Nullifiers.

Keep using Rift Surge to keep the buff maximised. It doesn't fall off as quickly as it might thanks to Surges transferring to enemies outside the rift, which still counts for the buff. It's great for scrapes with higher level enemies, or synergising with weapons that have useful gimmicks but lower-end damage. And since the Hemocyte won't stop spawning enemies (along with a lot of other bosses doing much the same thing), it's a great option to get a big buff during that fight solo.

ahh perfect, thank you. I don't have the augment myself but now that I know this, I'll definitely want it. I'm currently working on new loka and perrin sequence so hopefully one of those two have it. I've already went thru red veil and steel meridian, so I know they don't offer it. Now I can definitely see how that buff can stack to do a whole. lot of damage.

    thank you!

  10. I feel like answering a little different question (which seems to be the same question a lot of people are answering): What are my current favorite frames?

I think that's a little more relevant, because everybody's play style tends to differ.

For me, I'd say my favorite frames are probably:

    1. Ash. He is tanky and can do a little bit of everything. Being able to go invisible is great for so many things, not the least being not dying. Fatal teleport is deadly with the rakta dark dagger and covert lethality. Seeking Shuriken strips armor which is sooo useful at higher levels.

2.Titania. He Razorwing is DEADLY. Super evasive and the Dex Pixia with the right build does SO MUCH DAMAGE and has great survivability. Getting those two aspects in one ability almost feels too powerful. lol.

3.Chroma. Getting 825% damage increase and 1000% armor increase makes him virtually unkillable and able to take down heavily armored enemies super quick. No riven lanka and can take out an teralyst synovia in 2 to 3 shots.

4.Rhino. He really has the easiest kit in the game to understand and use. Insane Tank with Iron Skin, Rhino stomp freezes enemies and Roar buffs damage. Very simple and easy to use. There's a reason why newer players use him so much.

    5. Nezha. His rework is frickin spectacular. 90% damage reduction and firewalker are super fun and useful, and chakram is great for getting some health back. His divine spears is great crowd control and really just kills all enemies level 40 and under.

    Honorable Mentions:

Gara: super fun using her mass vitrify and splinter deal for 90% damage reduction as well as her radial banish passive.

Zephyr: Her turbulence augment coupled with her 1st ability make her perfect for the plains. She's actually my go to frame for general plains missions. No need for archwing, she's a burb.

TBH, Limbo - or rather, the rift - needs a way for allies to enter without Limbo's direct assistance. That would lift the 'random enemy gets banished and the player using Limbo doesn't notice' problem, and frees up a lot of his moves.

Of course, either way, being conscientious with your powers is important. Maximum range isn't everything for this precise reason. A smaller cataclysm leaves slots open for survivability, utility or power strength if you want to double up with Rift Torrent, and allows enemies to get near enough for a trouncing. I've got a good all-rounder setup on my Limbo prime that has only 145% range (about half max range Limbo) and some power strength for Rift Torrent. He's extremely capable and I use him for almost everything. I can even run Plague Star in a decent amount of time thanks to Shattering Impact, Tiberon Prime and the 600-1000% damage buffs the infested horde give me. But still, when playing with other Tenno, I try to avoid using all my powers simply because I can mess with everyone else. No need to use a hammer when a little elbow grease is all that's needed.

But hey, same can be said for a bucketload of other frames. Nyx, Nova, Frost, they can all mess with other players. Even Harrow can screw over Nezha's, Rhino's and other Harrows. Limbo's not that much worse than any of these frames. And of course, for some people, any nuke frame is ten times worse than Limbo.

what 600-1000% damage buffs are you referring to from the infested borde? I'm curious becauseI frickin love playing limbo and using ALL of his abilities. I know of the rift torrent augment that buffs 30% but can't find what you are talking about from the wiki. lemme know, ty

the drag is that its on rotation C so its a 20 minute farm to get to the drop. Then its only 5.64% drop rate which in fact doesnt mean you should be getting it in around 20 runs, but it does mean you should be getting it in about 40 runs, but it could be as many as 80 runs. Thats mucho game play

At least you can rest assured it is working as intended, its just that DE intend these grinds to be quite long for most people

yeha, this is actually very reassuring, seeing that the random num gen is giving other people the same fits

lol. im here with 6 systems and only missing BP. i guess our rng isnt the best

If only we could trade, lol. Fortunately, I really enjoy both SO and ESO so eventually it'll drop. I just figured it would've dropped much sooner!

  14. So I've ran Sanctuary Onslaught so many times that I've received 7 Khora main blueprints and zero - I repeat - ZERO Khora Systems blueprints. Ugh, so frustrating! I thought I'd take to the forums to vent my frustration. I actually considered that my game might be bugged because I have to believe that the chances of that happening is pretty darn statistically low. Did I say UGH?!?
