  1. Greetings!

    So, I'll get right to it - most are just cosmetic feedback

    I. We need a way to lock the pilot seat to the host. I don't mind hosting and have randoms join, but it's infuriating when randoms essentially wait for the moment I leave the pilot position to manage the hull breaches - also seen several park ther Railjack in a somewhat safe spot while handling bigger objetives, just for a random to join and pilot it right into danger.

    II. After finishing a mission, we need some way to extract without heading to the dry dock. Hell, can be a part of the Tactical Menu (Tier 1) - only active a short time after mission completion.

    III. I saw the name will get its own colour layer. However, could you have a "border" option (toggle, or allow us to set a colour). Even white/black would help a lot

    IV. Glyphs designed with Railjack in mind. I'd love some which may be less interesting as a glyph, but stellar as decals

    V. Uniform colours of our crew - maybe even allow us to add a glyph to them back/chest

    Vi. Allow us to buy a Repair Drone from the Dry Dock - having to return to the Orbiter to then return to the Dry Dock is a lot of time wasted

I'm glad you brought it up, as I remember earlier in the year (I want to say around Fortuna time..?) we had a gamebreaking bug on PS4 where Interception was impossible, because spawns would break and cause the framerate to drop to a single frame every 3-4 second. And we had two days of Inctercept in sorties (could technically beat it if you fought throught the framerate and had frames which somehow could manage, but even the end screen took five minutes to load)

    Better to bring potential issues up imo, otherwise they remain in the game! 🙂

    So I've had some issues with my Options button, but it wasn't till today I realised what caused it - the Parazon

    If you've performed a mercy on a lich - and thereby have the Parazon equipped - you can't use the Options button. I can press the PS button and use it in the PS4 menus fine, but in-game it won't work till I've pressed triangle (as melee also locks up) and followed up with a melee

     

  4. I used Hildryn and while we failed two defenses, it wasn't too bad

    In hindsight, would've been easier to go toxin/slash (I had Corrosive on the melee I used), rather than have me pillage their shields - but eh

    My issue with it was how long it took compared to other Stage 3 sorties, I hope whenever they rework ESO rewards they also redo sorties and make Stage 3 overall more challenging, but fewer random factors (atm you can end up with a boss which takes one shot, or a slow 30min scenario)

    But I also love when we actually get to see Lua (I REALLY hope they make it more relevant to go back there, like they've done with the Kuva Fortress), so I definitely go in not minding a tougher challenge

    They've literally remastered a planet with mobility/speed in mind.

    And even if everything is dead, I seriously doubt the devs go "then you slow down, loot everything and kill the pace entirely!"

    Even when you see the devs play, it's not like they kill everything within eye sight before they move

     

    @ Kapn655321  Not super thrilled with Khora, plus I don't actually want it to be larger (or even as large) as what we've now via companions. I just noticed how much it slows down the pace when there's no companion by you, which just seems like such an odd design decision. 

    But 100% can see why sometims not looting can be handy, so making it an option would be a better call

    Oh, I'm not! But if the range is 2m atm, I honestly feel it should be upped to 6m (whatever half of what a companion has now, as it doesn't need that much). 

    I've played without it for a day as I kept forgetting a companion after a riven, and it felt so frustrating - the ammo was definitely the easiest way I could tell. Reading the comments above, I can see - and admit - it's a QoL I'm used to from every game I've ever played.

    However, a Parazon Mod which adds 3m or even an Amalgam Mod for Exilus would be great options, too.

    2m is just too little to matter imo, I still have to stand right on top of the items really.

    I still stand by that it's counterintuitive to not have a noticable vacuum in a game which wants you to keep moving.

    So a lot of the devstreams in 2019 have talked about how remasters had focus on mobility and lots of the gameplay changes/additions have time to improve the mobility/flow of the game.

    I read the vacuum changes to AW and RJ in the PC hotfixes and had a talk with a friend who also play WF.

    You want to avoid "mandatory mods", but having Fetch/Vacuum on a companion is mandatory in order to keep the flow of the game quick, otherwise you've to carefully make sure you keep on looting ammo, materials, etc.

    Vacuum should honestly be a standard for frames at this point. It simply doesn't make sense to have it as a mod when losing companion/not using the mod, goes against the type of gameplay you're working to improve with every patch. I think this is the first game I've played of its kind, where there's no vacuum on the main character . and this is by far the game which wants to keep you moving the most.

    It just doesn't add up at all.

    I'd suggest a simple test - disable all types of vacuum on your devbuild till the next mainline. If you don't find that it affects your gameplay, I might simply be playing terribly - but I'd take a guess that within a day or two you'd go "alright, without vacuum this sucks, maybe he is onto something about it being a big factor of the gameplay pacing"

  8. I hope console communication gets better for 2020

    Between waiting for any clarification on TennoGen, these things, no idea if we'll even see Rising Tide before the holidays while PC is confirmed to get Empyrean.. It's exhausting.

    Love the game, but.. It's exhausting to try keep up on what is going on with the console version

    Sometimes they - for reasons I don't know - decide not to update DLC/Add-Ons at midnight unlike game releases.

    I hope it arrives, as I dont really want to buy another affinity booster for all these kuva weapons <.<

  11. Since the previous thread was closed, I've to revive it this way

    The Eidolon parts you break, still don't update on damage - the bars remain at full bars and makes it infuriating to coordinate

    At this point, I'll take a "it won't be fixed, we don't know why it's happening", just ANY info on this bug is appreciated.

    Looking at the visual bug, it seems like they accidently did something so the purple shield bar just doesn't update (or they've a 100% one on top) - as the effects on it still acts as if there's a properly working one underneath

    I can't believe this is still a thing, after such a long time.

    And saying it can't be the new normal; if it doesn't exist on PC, they will get significantly less feedback/complaints and it's not the same builds on PC and console

  13. So I went to do the Thumper challenge, not even thinking about this bug - then I got there, and what do I see?

    A MAINLINE later and this is still not fixed, and I've done my fair share to reach out via Twitter, support, here

    You're ignoring this issue at this point, absolutely unacceptable

  14. Yeah, I'll start tweeting at Rebb, Danielle, Megan and Steve every Monday

    The Eidolons aren't hard to fight, until people can't see where damage is done

    I can live with the frustrating sprint toggling off Hildryn/Wisp after using their fourth, but this actually makes the game harder 😕

    And I get it, they're working on the mainline - 100% not complaining it's not done NOW, but for all we know they've not even glanced at this thread so no fix is even in consideration

    Much like when you're in a rift from Limbo, my frame loses the ability to actually loot the loot - I've to swap to Operator to loot, interact with hacking, etc. It's been going on for a few hotfixes I've attempted to show it in the screenshot, but really - 100% as if I was in another plane and loot just clings to me

    I'll make this as brief as possible, as there's some QoL updates I think would help a whole lot, even it might appear small

    I. Give us a PoE fishing spear which works for every fish. It's quite annoying having to figure out the right spear, when OV has made the great change to just use one. It can even be a 125k standing item.

    II. Kavat Genetic Changes; I love my kavat, but I would love if he could get another set of the base ears which are chosen. Given we have gene maskings, surely it can be justified changing the randomly chosen parts for a platinum price.

    III. Please let us sell a relic for 10 void traces. I've so many Lith-Neo I can never get through, and since the minimum reward is Forma/15 (plus what you get for cracking it) selling a relic for 10 void traces seems like a nice option.

    IV. Creator Mode is great, but we could really use some more of the Non-Critical Info to be hidden, such as:

    i. Hide Ordis' notifications about crafting

    ii. Reduce size of The Lotus messages - even as I reduce the HUD scaling, it remains too big (and recent boss fight adds a MASSIVE version of this for the related NPC)

    V. This is gonna be a bigger change, but.. Have an option to "Hide Conclave Console" and then let us have the relic refinement or a dojo shortcut there

    While doing fissure runs with a friend of mine for the Nightwave Challenge, we discovered a rather frustrating - hopefully unintentional - change.

    Scenario:

    A player chooses a fissure and a relic - the others then must choose Accept or Cancel. 

    When they choose Accept, you are as per usual thrown into the relic select menu, but rather than let you select - it automatically has chosen "No relic" as default - which means if you accidently press X instead of O you go without a relic, and given this step is unnecessary 99.9% of the time not being what people want (aKa to go with no relic as default), I imagine it's unintended.

    Simply wish for at least the option to go back to the way it was; choosen Accept brings you to the relic select screen WITHOUT a pop-up prompting "No relic" as the highlighted option.

    I've gone over the patch notes, because something I noticed immediately in PoE at night, then again on Io (Jupiter). Everything looks more saturated/dark when you're in an area with open skies.

    I checked to make sure I didn't change any settings on my end, curious if other people noticed this?
