I don't want to write much but I dislike most of the Nightwave chores. Nothing is 'challenging', sometimes it coincides with what I like to do and I don't mind but mostly It reminds me of how incredibly boring some of this game is. I don't want to revisit unrewarding, boring and/or old content. Before Nightwave I haven't been to the derelict in years and I remember why.
Next time pls. just let me spend money. The armor doesn't even really work with my color scheme.
Edit: Also considering Nightwave is obviously meant for newer players they should be able to clear it with relative ease.

1. I don't think I really understood the issue with Itzal. What is the difference to top tier frames and weapons that are the 'best' way to play.
2. My thoughts which might be a little jumbled bc. I just got home from a party:
Itzal is objectively the best at what it does and because WF isn't pvp it doesn't hurt anyone.
You are motivated to go out and experience the poe on a K-Drive? Do it! Nobody is stopping you. If DE wants choice they should make content for neglected stuff, nothing can be perfectly balanced for everything and there will always be the best thing. Amesha is powerful but nobody cares. If there are parts of your game nobody plays maybe see what can be done to improve it instead of changing the elements people actually play.
If DE wants to force their players into a specific style of play they will lose. Maybe they should ask themselves why people like fast cars in games, or fast spaceships, or Itzal.. maybe because flying over the open worlds is boring? unfun? look at your second monitor time? Here is an idea, make the flying actually exciting, rewarding and dangerous!
They should learn from their players telling them how they like to play their game (not using K-Drives, mostly using Itzal) and use it to make their game better for their players. Instead they try to force people to play the way they 'envisioned'. Trying to make your players fit your game instead of the other way around is not a good idea imho. Nobody will like K-Drives more because Itzal is worse.
You cannot fight human nature and people will always try to get to the rewards faster/easier esp. if they have to repeatedly do the same thing. Players feel a "sense of pride and accomplishment" after they have overcome a challenge and putting them on a timer both figuratively and literally isn't a way to make something challenging. Nobody grades movies on their running time. Who can blame people trying to shorten the mission they are running 100+ times?
Exploiter was interesting bc. gear didn't matter much. But is that healty for warframe on a bigger scale? Just use whatever, it doesn't matter?

I feel like I haven't done anything I wanted to do in the last couple of weeks. Play for an hour, do a bit of nightwave and realize I have to go to bed...
Furthermore I realized that 7 out of 10 game modes Nightwave forces me to play feel unrewarding and mind numbingly boring. Remember those Vaults/Halls etc. from years ago? Do it again. Remember the hundreds upon hundreds of sabotage missions? Do it again. Remember how it feels to wait out Timers bored out of your mind with barely any reward to show for it? Do it again!
For me Warframe replaced Pokemon so naturally I wanna collect all the stuff... but now that I am on the clock it just feels bad to me.
The content I actually like to do is barely represented. Most of the other stuff feels like chores.
If DE wants me to treat WF like a job they are succeeding and I am still on the fence if I'm going to quit because I already got one.
Just to make it clear, my frustration comes 100% from my desire to collect everything, However what else is there to do in WF?

When will they realize that there will always be a meta option. Something will always be better/more convenient than something else for content X and players will use it. As soon as Iztal is 'slow' there will be another 'best' choice.
Nerf Frame X, now everyone plays Frame Y. Nerf Gun A and watch everybody switch to B... I just don't understand why you would do this in a pve game.

HI,
So I have just recently returned to the game and just bought the mesa prime access and as I understand it she should have an exalted weapon like excalibur etc.
While my excalibur has the exalted blade and valkyr has her talons, my new mesa prime is missing her regulators.
Already Restarted the game etc.

Hey everyone.
So I was just invited by someone to trade and the game immediately froze after tabbing out I saw that kaspersky was blocking the audio signal of my microphone asking me to confirm.
After giving the permission WF immediately startet working again.
As far as I can see I gave warframe every permission possible and added it to trustworthy everywhere I could, does anyone know what I have to do ?

So, I reinstalled Warframe today in order to see all the shiny new stuff that has been added but I ran into a problem.
Whenever I try to launch warframe in fullscreen mode the game freezes at login and shortly after crashes, windowed mode works fine tho.
Any Ideas ? Verified Cache already and reinstalled all relevant drivers.
Specs: I7 5930k, 980Ti, 32GB of Ram the game is installed on a secondary ssd. OS is Windows 10 64bit.
Edit: Found it! Turns out Afterburner or more specifically its OSD (RivaTuner) caused the crash in Fullscreen mode disabling the OSD or closing Afterburner solves the problem. So if anyone has the same problem try that.

Hi,
I get my Consumables reset after everyDivine Willmission. I had 24 ciphers used 16, after extracting I had 24 again, same with energy restores. (IT HAPPENS IN EVERY MISSION)
Crafting works, I just got my cipher count to 34 but every time I use them in a mission they will be back to 34 as soon as I enter the main menu :(
I have unequiped them and started a mission like this but they never go down...
I have reinstalled warframe already and I have no idea what is causing this... does anybody know ?
Even when I completely use them (Count 0!) they will be back to their original number after extracting...
Edit: It seems to be permanently consumed if I play with firends. The issue only occurs in solo mode !
Maybe I should try another pc... Edit2:It worked ! I have no idea why though :( I reinstalled warframe 3 times on this machineturns out it was a fluke... happening on my notebook and 2nd pc too.Welp, I made a fresh install on my 2nd notebook (never had warframe installed) and the problem does not happen there...
I made a support ticket because this is getting more than strange...
I reinstalled it again on my PC and the Problem persists, I deleted everything in %AppData%/Warframe... I don't know what to do anymore.
UPDATE: I HAD TO REINSTALL WINDOWS AND WARFRAME. IT SEEMS TO WORK AGAIN !
If anyone has the same issue, try deleting everything on warframe you can find and reinstall it, if that doesn't work reinstall windows, would have saved me a lot of time...

I managed to install the 347.88 Driver (with my 980TI ! ) and have not yet experienced a crash.
If nothing else works a rollback to this Driver might just do the trick :)
Edit: Oh well, it ran fine for almost two days... crashed again.

I have the same problem since today and did everything Abdelslam_77 suggested, I also changed my DNS to google then to openDNS... nothing works
Edit2: It worked again after forcibly reconnecting to my isp.

Hi it's me again,
I was stuck on the loading screen to Lex (Ceres) and could not progress although the loading bar was at max. the intro sequence of the mission would not play. I waited for some time then had to close warframe, after a restart everything was in order again. This has been happening a lot lately, any ideas ?
Edit: I just went through the logs and it seems the mission actually started, yet all I was seeing was the loading screen (I could move my ship around and all). I also found a couple reports of this on reddit from a year ago anybody know what is causing this?

I was just solo playing a T1 Defense when at the start of the 5th wave I got a red flickering but no message from the stalker/syndicate or whatever. When I killed every enemy I waited for 5 minutes and searched the entire map for a missing enemy but couldn't find one.
I ended up aborting the mission. Maybe a Syndicate attack got bugged or something ?

Look at the windows events you just don't see it because the screen is black for too long.
This would usually sound like an unstable GPU but I am having the same issue with warframe and I ran Unigine Valley, Furmark, 3D Mark etc for hours... not a single crash.
Windowed mode did not help in my case.
Edit:
I actually upgraded my 5850 to a 7950 I had lying around. But just to test the newest Nvidia Driver (because while just a bugfix for a different issue, miracles tend to happen! ) I tested with my 980Ti again...This time the launcher told me my graphics card was not supported... restarted the launcher and everything seemed to be working again...
Wanted to get the Launcher log but in my hurry I accidentally started the Launcher again so when I looked at the logs the new instance had ofc already overwritten the one with the error... oh well.
I highly doubt that this has anything to do with the other issue but more info is never bad...

I also opened a ticket, lets hope it will be fixed soon... switched my 980Ti for my ancient HD5850 just to play the event.

Same problem... no fix yet.
The last 5 drivers have the same issue, crashed 3 times today.
Specs:
i7-5930k
ASUS x99-S
32 GB RAM 2800Mhz CL15
BeQuiet P11 1200W (had this from another PC I know it is too much)
Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme.
Windows 10 x64

I hope no one buys plat in order to trade for the mods they are missing. If this event becomes more profitable to DE than other Events we can expect this kind of farm to be back in the future.
But maybe the third stage will redeem the event. Wait and see.

I like the whole acolyte system, id actually like it to become a persistent mode after the event.
Adding the time limit is what's killing it for me. I don't get to play a whole lot do I'm gonna miss most of the drops,(I don't like the event mod idea for this reason)
If say after the event there will always be an acolyte in play, give then less health and just rotate them out as they die.
Yes. This. I'll buy the biggest Trinity Prime pack the moment they do this. (or make the mods "easily" available like run 100 missions, you got 4 days and other players cannot take the opportunity away from you)

The PS4 doesn't use opengl but GNM(X). They should port the entire game to Vulkan (when it finally releases) and release a Linux version.
Vulkan runs on every platform aside from xbox.
Does anybody know how to improve performance during survival missions ? Whenever there are many items dropped or a lot of enemies around me, my game chokes. Seems like bad CPU utilization (@17% load) and/or overhead issues. I disabled multi-thread rendering.
It hardly matters what my settings are, low and max have the same lowpoint.

Where is this year of quality you promised ? I have asked that question almost everytime you did something new in warframe this year.
Save for Tyl Regor everything seemed broken beyond belief... nothing but disappointment after disappointment...

I won't be doing it again. Umbral Forma alone was just not worth it. Nightwave 2 would have to be much more passive for me to actually get anywhere. Or Umbral forma as prestige rewards...
