    Build is pretty straightforward

All 4 status mods and drifting contact for 100% status

Then add primed pressure point, primed fury for speed and damage

The last slot is for your preference

But i suggest you use viral and radiation as it is a good combination for any enemy type

Especially viral since it halves health which effectively means double damage

Isn't condition overload pretty much mandatory as well?

  2. Similar terms such as "cold" and "chill" have traditionally been used in literature  to describe swords or blades. "Frosty" follows this line.

The simplest reason being that steel is normally cool to the touch compared to its environment. There's a scientific explanation to that, but we'll not need to go into specifics.

Of course it could also point to a story behind Nora's sword but... in the absence of such a story coming to light, the first explanation is probably it.

  3. Edit: i guess this info is irrelevant to you now since nightwave is over, but for future reference perhaps 😂

Limbo is the frame you want for this. Nothing gets past cataclysm + stasis. Build for max duration plus normal or a bit of extra range (slightly contrary to usual recommended limbo builds for defense, but it will help stop the enemy better). Enemy sense is very helpful. Bring your best weapons eg. Catchmoon with radiation damage.

Keep cataclysm on your goal all the time plus stasis active. If you're with a team, let them score while you defend. Otherwise it's tougher but still doable if solo. Let the enemy attack, get stuck in your stasis then kill them at leisure. Pick up points then sprint to their goal while rifted, repeat.

  4. Adaptation, QT and Rolling guard all have rather different niches.

Adaptation needs time to build up resistance but will let you face tank continuous damage. Well suited for long endurance runs.

QT is really situational as firstly the damage reduction equivalent is around 58% and it doesn't work for some damage sources, and it works only when you get death damage. I'd not put QT in the same league as the other two.

Rolling guard is an instant 100% damage reduction for 30% of the time. You get to avoid large spikes of damage but mostly have to rely on other abilities after the invul is up, or run away from enemies.

Each has its use. There's no better one over the other.

  5. Just play the game normally without forcing yourself to grind, and the relics will drop eventually. Doing for example a Hieracon per day in a casual manner will get you those relics and more plus increase your enjoyment of the game. I have a couple of A6s just by playing a couple rotations of Hieracon occasionally, not even actively grinding them.

The new prime will be here a long time before it's vaulted, and by then many people will already have hoarded several sets. So there's no rush to get it like right NOW!

By the way syndicate packs are one of the more consistent ways of getting axi relics too.

    Hi

we have been done allmost all planets and and we are now stuck trying to go to mot on void 😞

both of us are at mr 7 and i am using galatine and vectis fairly good mods on both.

my fr using also galatine and hek.

seems we cant kill enemies fast enough /not good enough damage to advence trough void to last mot mission.

Is it possible with mr 7 weapons to kill level 50+ enemies ?

    any tips greatly apprecited !

What are your weapon builds? Have you maxed out your mods yet?

Seems like I may have jumped to conclusions, I am fairly new to this game and haven't received many Axi relics.

Looking through the other syndicates and I will need the Kronen prime blade for Arbiters of Hexis, that looks even more difficult since it is uncommon from an Axi.

The Perrin Sequence looks the hardest, that is a rare from an Axi for Gram Prime handle.

All the others are available in Lith, doesn't seem balanced.

Yup it's not really balanced, which can get really annoying if you're trying to level that syndicate. But the redeeming factor is, they can change if the parts get vaulted, so you can just wait it out if you don't want to waste the prime part.

In red veil for instance, previously their r5 requirement was Hydroid prime systems which is an Axi rare costing about 60 plat back then. Now it's much better after they changed it following Hydroid's vaulting recently.

  8. The title is quite misleading as the part isn't vaulted. Even though you clarified it later in the post.

Rank 4 is fairly high up in a syndicate so it's not unreasonable to have some requirements that aren't trivial. In fact Ceph suda has one of the lowest part requirements of all the syndicates, with a common for rank 4 and uncommon for r5. Just look at what the other syndicates are asking for and you'll see.

Farming an axi relic can be slow but it's the highest rank relic so it can't be made as easy as the rest. If you're having a lot of difficulty doing rotation C in missions for it, another way is to buy relic packs from your syndicate. Those are available early on and guarantee either a neo or axi relic each time. Or you could just buy axi r2 from a player. Many ways to achieve what you need. Good luck.

  9. My personal take:

Soma is let down by its terrible base damage and lackluster status, otherwise has nice crit stats. Rivens arent very expensive but have very poor dispo. I consider this last of the 3.

Tiberon P is as close as you can get to the best of both status and crit in one package, but as a drawback can only achieve that under burst fire (semi auto gets only marginally better stats but is clunky to shoot, auto mode does not have good crit stats). Rivens are decently priced and have alright dispo. My top pick among the 3.

Fulmin in auto mode has decent damage but the 60 round mag doesn't feel like it goes as far as it should since round for round it has worse damage than Tib P. Not having to reload is alright, but you still spend time on the recharge unless you swap weapons. Rivens are very pricey now. I prefer the semi auto mode, though it's not really the subject of comparison here. I would rank this 2nd of these 3.

    Great....

Now that somebody has said something about Stasis. How do I get murdered by an invisible force when I have entire area locked down with Stasis ?

I think there's a bug with limbo on one of the enemies. I too got damaged once while in the rift, enemy outside. Stasis on anyway, not that it makes a difference when enemy is outside.

  11. Change out the hek, it's fine for starchart but not 1 hour index as the enemies scale much higher and have more hp. You'll want a high crit chance weapon with high crit multiplier to get through their hp. I suggest a radiation kitgun built for pure crit.

Radiation is the best damage type for index.

Revenant is the best frame for index, he's literally God mode there since nothing can kill him with mesmer up. 280% power strength (i think, can't see the number well on your screenshot) is good enough. Just make sure it never goes to 0 and you can carry all the points you want.

They are great if you are trying to complete a rescue or spy mission in a public game where someone triggered the alarms. Although I am on console and hacking isn’t as simple as point and click on a controller.

Only in public games on normal starchart, sure.

What if some pubber trips an alarm in your sortie? Oh no your cipher can't help you now, that's my point. For that case you use air support charges with Liset 🙂

They are useful in Eidolon hunts as you can hack lures while in Itzal instantly. They are also nice to have in some missions if you are under fire. I use them in Sabotage 2.0 missions a lot.

I've not tried Itzal hacking, but if that works then I'll agree it's a valid use, but in missions under fire Operator void mode hacking is the best solution because it works everywhere.

And I'll stand by my point that once you get familiarized with hacking the toughest missions without ciphers, you are basically set for everything. Relying on ciphers only gets you through some content and makes you dependent on them.

  13. Be warned, ciphers are very limited in use. They can't be used in sorties, nightmare mode, arbitrations and even syndicate missions. I can't recall if they work in invasions either. In short, where they matter the most they won't work.

It's far, far better to practise hacking and stop using ciphers altogether as that will only encourage dependence on them and then they will fail you when you need them.

I bought the 10x blueprint and it's been a total waste because I crafted 2 sets and haven't used any since.

  14. My suggestion to you is to pick a weapon available to you now and has a decent feel while uncatalyzed. I do that myself to gauge which weapons are worth dropping a potato on. Use that, apply forma and catalyst, farm up plat to buy more as needed. Just doing fissures and opening relics for prime junk can easily net you 20 plat per hour min assuming you're really unlucky and get only common drops (2 plat per common junk, 5 minutes per relic opened on average for most endless missions).

You may feel the urge to apply catalyst on everything you have, I'd strongly recommend you resist that temptation until you have at least 1 good primary, secondary and melee to comfortably do any content you need such as the occasional gift of the lotus alerts, invasions which occasionally award catalysts, vault runs for corrupted mods, etc.

Oh and save some plat for buying warframe and weapon slots. In the long run you'll find yourself spending more on those than on catalysts.

strange, must be something with the programming. though then again, i know for a fact that perfectly capturing pobbers means that you will have to capture/tranq all 3 perfectly, not just one. i was doing the nora challenge myself, and failing to make just one out of three perfect denies you progress, probably so that people don't bottom-feed on pobbers instead of going for bigger things. cowboy coding

This isn't true. I did 2 pobber captures myself in the course of getting the task done, and got a mix of perfect and good captures. Never a single capture with all perfect. Both counted for nightwave

  16. 7 minutes ago, nslay said:

Yeah, maybe there's a glitch! Did you ever perfect catch 3+ of the same species and have it count toward Nightwave, by chance? Pigeon hole principle would rule out gender then.

No the only time that happened in this round was with the 2 sunny pobbers. Haha. If we get another nightwave for this again I'll try to confirm this.

  17. Why not go for hybrid since the stats support both crit and status?

For Gram p: Ppp, drifting, 2x 60/60, blood rush, primed reach, berserker, condition o.

If you get a good riven, replace one of the above depending on what you're willing to sacrifice. I personally got a cc/cd riven which i replaced primed reach. Still figuring out if i like the reduced range but the damage is nice, red crits on every hit with the first combo tier.

For atterax you could probably do a similar build, lower crit and status stats but much better attack speed so faster melee combos. I don't use atterax much so that's just theorycrafting, someone else could probably advise a better suited build.

Gender also apparently contributes to "different" perfect captures. So, unless there was a glitch, you might have caught a male and female Sunny Pobber, but 4 male Kubrodons.

I didn't pay very close attention to all of the 4 kubrodons i captured, but the first one was definitely male and the second female.

Can't say for the pobbers, definitely didn't look at their gender at all.
