    Cross-save Merge Issue/Question

    Ehh...  Sure, you could.  But people have been doing that already, I'm sure, if they're actively playing 2 accounts for some reason.  But what's the trigger to merge?  When will you have "enough" of the double rewards to merge?  Are you merging for the added loot, or merging for the convenience of playing the same account on multiple platforms.  I merged on Friday to play my PSN on PC again, not because I wanted the loot on my PC account.  Who's got time to actively grind and farm 2 accounts at the same time??

     

    This is a "Finally I can play the game" meme.  Once you've grinded EVERYTHING through your Double Rewards exploit, you can "finally play the game"?

    Yes, they combine exactly as you would hope.

    I’m calling it now, it’s not releasing this year. 

    Literally merged my PC and PSN accounts together 3 hours ago.  It's rolling out.

    Hello - I believe (though obviously we don't know yet since it isn't active) that we will be able to connect our PC and Console accounts together, and then choose a Primary account, and then choose either Link (overwrite all with the Primary) or Merge (combine Secondary accounts into Primary).

    So, what you (and I actually) will be doing is connecting our PC and PSN accounts together, choose the PSN as Primary, and then Merge the PC into the PSN account.  I'll find out later today when cross save opens for Founders.  Unless it gets delayed again.

    I know this was asked often a year ago, but my search in the google-machine hasn't turned up recent news, so I'm asking.

    I made the jump from PC to PS4 several years ago.  I knew there was going to be a service where I could transfer my PC account to the PS4, so I decided to wait for it.  I ended up missing the announcement that the transfer was live because I wasn't checking the forums often enough, and I subsequently missed my chance to transfer (boo-hoo me).  I remember Rebecca stating in one of the Livestreams toward the end of 2015 that another account migration would be made available in 2016, but Sony ended up dragging their feet.

    I'm not asking for a pity party, I'm just trying to get updated information.  Last I heard was Sony was dragging their feet about opening up another account migration in mid 2016, and basically DE was wating on them.  Is DE still pursuing the option to migrate accounts from PC to consoles or have they given up?  If there's 100% no chance in migrating my old account (which is, by now, very out of date anyway) then I won't feel as bad about [finally] restarting on the PS4.  I've held off because I thought there was a possibility that a transfer period would open again, and I didn't want to grind out a bunch of progress on the PS4 just to have it over-written by my [far superior] PC account.  

     

    TL;DR: Destiny 2 is a let down so I'm thinking of coming back home to Warframe, but I want to play on the PS4 with my friends.  Will I ever get the chance to copy my PC account to my PS4 account?

    The Devs currently have no plans to have it happen again.

     

     

    Source?  I've looked through the forums for a while now and can't find them saying that they have no plans to have this happen again.  They haven't said either way honestly.  I, too, am really hoping for another chance to migrate my account since I missed the only one.  Plenty of people have said "they won't do it again" but nothing official from DE.  Can someone just give this an official answer so we can move on? I don't know if it's worth waiting or not.
