  1. People whine is a common thing to happen. It means they care for the developers and the game itself.

    Not all of their whinings are right, but some of them should be heard.

    There's no such thing of a perfect game where the communities doesn't whine/criticize. While every player has their own version of a "great gameplay", game developer like DE is trying to compromise and find the equilibrium that is acceptable for everyone.

    DE should be glad that warframe communities are speaking out. That means the game is still alive. Still, Game developers are not gods. Designing, patching, and coding Warframe is a tough job. Give them time, take a break and play something else.

  2. My thoughts of the new warframe reworks:

     

    ===EMBER===

    Pros:

    1. Her Abilities synergizes well. Immolation + Adaptation + Healing Flame Augment works nice for survivability. A Max Damage + Exothermic build is good for cleaning low level enemies.
    2. The existence of Heat proc halves Armor is a great addition that makes Ember Formidable

    Cons:

    1. Her Energy usage is too high. I am forced to use both Fleeting Expertise - Streamline - Hunter Adrenaline to keep her energy income.
    2. Immolation increases from slow to fast. It kinda works like Kohm in terms of speed.
    3. Fireball is a good spamming skill, but it's really costly to keep the combo up.

    Suggestions:

    1. Reduce the energy cost of Fireball at consecutive casting. The same system as Atlas' Landslide. This will encourages player to spam the skill.
    2. Immolation percentage increases instantly instead of exponentially, the same as Gauss' meter.
    3. Reduce Immolation energy drain, with the lowest cap at 2 Energy/Second.

     

    ===VAUBAN===

    Pros:

    1. Tesla Nervos is way much better now. Giving a great CC capabilities on a cheap energy cost.
    2. Tesla Bank Augment is a GREAT augment for enemy scaling. Now, he's able to kill higher level enemies.
    3. Photon Strike is a GREAT skill for killing low level enemies in a snap
    4. Photon Repeater is a good augment for making his 3 a lot better, but it need readjustments (read cons)

    Cons:

    1. Mineflayer's Flechette Orb is lacking damage in late game even with maximum damage mods. This ability should've been a "damage hitting" CC instead.
    2. Tether Coil's maximum enemy is so low, it's overshadowed by Bastille-Vortex.
    3. Vector Pad is a worthless ability in any situation, overshadowed by Void Dash - Speed Buffs - Bullet Jump. Why is this ability here?
    4. Overdriver, while a good ability lacks horribly in numbers. Even at 337% Strength (Max number in mod equipping) only gives 84% of Bonus WEAPON damage. Which is NOT worth it.
    5. Photon Repeater has a delay when the damage hits. Players get 1 second delay of photon repeater buff after the damage connects. Which makes the ability spammable, but really slow.
    6. Bastille turns into Vortex when the duration is almost out. I get caught off guard most of the time.

    Suggestions:

    1. Change Flechette Orb damage into Impact that always procs and always hit enemies. This will flinch random enemies, making it a good CC.
    2. Tether Coil's maximum enemy should be affected by either Ability Duration OR Ability Strength. But not getting overshadowed by Bastille - Vortex. OR, give a slash proc on enemies who get caught by it.
    3. Change Vector Pad into a defensive version of Overdriver. Somehing that increases ARMOR / Giving Damage Reduction percentage. This will give survivability on Vauban.
    4. Increase Overdriver's damage, make it scales linearly with power strength (300% Power Strength means 300% bonus damage) OR, change Damage Bonus buff into Ability Strength Buff like Nidus' Parasitic Link and Equinox' Provoke.
    5. Photon Repeater should be a timed buff. After one second delay of damage, player will get 3-5 seconds of Photon Repeater Buff. Giving a low window time to spam Photon Strike as many as possible. After timer runs out, there will be a Photon Repeater debuff for a few seconds (kinda works like Rolling Guard buff, you get invincibility, then a rolling guard debuff) Thus, making the ability the same as "Fever Time Spamming".
    6. Remove Bastille turning into Vortex when almost running out of duration. Give that decision to players.
  3. When the Kuva Lich system was announced, i thought there's a big reward hiding behind that system. At first, i thought this is going to be a new "endgame" content. Repeatable good rewards like Eidolon and Arbitration runs.

    Turns out it's another great weapon (or MR fodder), and extra collectibles called ephemeras.

     

    Soon, DE will update this system, making murmur farm a lot faster. But after having a few Kuva Lich runs, i began to ponder the question.

    What to do after you get all of them? Are players going to avoid kuva larvings so kuva liches won't appear? Will this become another "finish and forget" again?

     

    While i am awar this topic should be put in the feedback section, I put this in general discussion to ask everyone their opinion.

    If DE going to add -good rewards- that made Kuva Lich replayable, what would it be?

     

    Start from me: Kuva. They're called KUVA Lich for a reason. And they better drop tons of KUVA after getting killed. 10k or 20k at most.

  4. I thought Kuva Lich are going to reward players a large amount of Kuva (10k or more). I was disappointed.

    Getting the relics? RNG

    Opening the relics? RNG

    Bonus damage from Kuva Weapon? RNG

    Kuva Lich appearances? RNG

     

    For now i'll just farming Kuva and Relics at the same time. The Lich ain't worth it until DE patch this and make the game less grindier.

    I'm still vexed on how grindy it is. It's not even double the grind, it's four times.

  5. I put Kuva lich hunting on stages

     

    STAGE ONE - PREPARING "ALL" REQUIEM MODS

     

    PROS:

    You can get Kuva while finding the relic, which is nice. Now everyone can be more enthusiastic finding Kuvas to roll rivens.

    The Kuva alert update is really helpful for fast navigation. DE should've implement this way before this update, but late is better than never.

    100% Chance on Kuva Flood is solid. 30% Chance on Siphons is acceptable.

    The Requiem mods, while it has three charges, at least they are tradeable. Which is quite nice.

     

    CONS:

    The rewards in this stage mitigates the grindy part. So, not much of a problem

     

    MY SUGGESTION:

    Build a seperate tab for Kuva Alerts. Since they're on the same tab as Arbitration - Clem - Weekly Ayatan - Any Tactical Alerts that appear at that time. It saves time from scrolling down.

    This can be selfish of me, but increasing the siphon relic chance to 50% would be nice.

     

     

    STAGE TWO - FINDING AND KILLING KUVA LARVING

     

    PROS:

    Now that the community has found a way to "choose" which element. We can expect it.

    Only the player who kills the larving will get kuva lich, you can ignore it if you don't want to get bothered.

     

    CONS:

    Damage Bonus RNG is a horrible choice. Hardcore players would die to get the 60% bonus. Failing to get that might cause disappointment and motivation loss for them. Not to mention the last stage is horribly time consuming.

     

    MY SUGGESTION:

    Remove the Damage RNG and make it universal OR allow the players to upgrade the damage bonus to "maximum number" using certain item (i.e fuse with the same-different kuva lich weapon)

    If the above solution is impossible. Add a "Tribute System" where player can pay the Kuva Lich a certain amount of Credits-Resources (Worst case scenario, platinum) so he stops being your Kuva Lich. or a "Bounty System" where player puts on a price on his head (Items or Platinum) so someone else can do the kill.

     

    STAGE THREE - SEEK THE WEAKNESS AND FINISH IT OFF

    PROS:

    You can either the weapon-ephemera, but also a random companion.

    The boss is actually quite tough. Failing to kill the lich scales up the level, thus more challenge.

     

    CONS:

    It takes a horribly long time killing thralls to find out one hint.

    When Kuva Lich appear and you are unprepared, Kuva thralls appears slowly.

    Kuva Lich might be really hard to kill if it scales too high (failed too much times because trial and error strategy). Hope there is a cap of it.

     

    MY SUGGESTION:

    Knowing that players would kill to get the highest damage bonus, they would do this mission repeatedly. Sadly, finding out the weakness to kill takes a very long time. Please reduce the number of thralls required.

    The rewards isn't worth it once you have all the weapons (at least maxed ones) and ephemeras. Still, isn't there a reason why the enemy is called KUVA Lich and KUVA Thrall? Shouldn't the player be awarded Kuvas after killing them?

    I'd suggest 200 Kuva per Thrall (Affected by resource mods and kavat buff). And a flat amount of 10k Kuva plus bonus per level scaling for killing the Lich. This encourages players to find more Kuva Liches from the get go. (20k kuva is much better, but that would be asking too much.

    Give an option so player can use "specter" item to forcefully summon converted Kuva Lich.

     

    That is all, i wish best of luck for the developers.

  6. Elitism much?

    IMO Casual players are those people with little time who wanted to play the game effortlessly.

    A game developer's rule of thumb is appeal to everyone regardless of Hardcore or Casual gamer. If possible, aim those people who never played games before.

     

    They don't only aim for the best "fun", but also the most "profit" without making horrible mistakes like EA did.

  8. It's obvious not every Warframe players speaks english.

    It's awkward when you entered a pub mission where player are speaking in different language, or worse "stars" (AKA Not using latin letters) 🙄

     

    For example:

    (PlayerA: *********************)

    (PlayerB: ***)

    (Me: What the hell are you talking about?)

    (PlayerA: *******)

    (PlayerC: ****** My Nickname ***********?)

     

    This kind of problem is quite prevalent on Asia servers. Worst case scenario, you ended up with two squad members which speaks the same native language (also able to speak english). And whatever  reason you did to them, they start talking about you in their own language. It might be positive or negative, but it puts you on an extremely awkward situation. If you ever did this before. Chat via PM next time so you won't offend anyone.

    Empyrean Update is around the corner. it's no surprise that communication will become an extremely useful tool in such mission. It would be wise to give language preferences as a new option. Similar function that Dota 2 has. If the player is a bilingual, give him an option to choose multiple languages.

    This is to enable communication with players in pub missions. But of course, Server chat is still universal (Region, Recruitment, and Trade) based on the server player is in.

  9. Players might be protesting the lack of Kuva on the final week's offering.

     

    But for me, Cred offerings should have one item that costs either 5 or 1 Nightwave Cred(s) . It's frustrating when you have less than 15 Nightwave creds, maxed prestige level and the leftover cred doesn't carry over.

     

    Please, at least remove prestige level cap.

  10. PSA: Don't do arbitration in pubs.

     

    I did a disruption arbitration today. The host just being careless and died. I quickly picked up 5 resurgence points hoping to revive him.

    But it was too late, the host was being pissed and spammed the chat with stars and left the mission.

    Host migration, suddenly my resurgence debuff presists until the end of mission.

     

    Not only that, i decided to "Leave the mission after death" in arbitration. No rewards were given, even round rewards were gone.

  11. At first, my arbitration mission was stuck on Earth, Coba (Defense Infested). with Octavia and Arca Triton as bonuses.

    For 2 hours, the mission didn't update. Still the same place, same mission, same bonus.

    I decided to quickrun the arbitration for 5 waves, finishing the mission.

    Now, for 3 hours straight i don't get any Arbitration mission.

     

    I tried to relog, checking other fixed mission locations with clan members.

    Turns out Infested Invasions between me and my clan are in different planet. Mine is Neptune - Ceres, where most of my friends are Pluto - Ceres.

     

    My Kuva Flood is in Carpo, Jupiter while most of my friends are in Themisto, Jupiter.

    I tried relogging again, and the invasions-arbitration-kuva flood are still at the same place.
