I can't really use ANY of the Focus Schools or Operator Mode as a whole yet, as I haven't reached the Second Dream and War Within quests (after I'm done with Sands of Inaros I plan on doing The New Strange). 😬

ahh right. Then either store up her energy until the Tomb Guardian arrives or use Energy Siphon aura from Nightwave - whichever you have and whichever is more helpful

I know how the game works my dude. I can do the test without problems with any melee weapon. The only thing that changes is the amount of time needed to complete it. With some weapons you go in and brainlessly execute folks (skiajati) but most weapons that aren't the skiajati or gunblades require learning the path patterns of the mobs and timing your kills with their most vulnerable state on their path.

My previous comment was about the bandaid fix to blind enemies making them too sensitive. There needs to be a balance in the enemy detection algorithm, not too short and not 5 miles long.

what bothers me is how neither Corpus nor Grineer have any courage. Soon as they sniff you: alarms go off. The most annoying has to be Void Fissures in Spy missions as you can be Ivara/ Loki and you're Duration-Efficiency to the teeth - all going great then pow! soon as that darned Void team arrive the alarms go mental and now you're punished for nothing you did which means no Rot C rewards if you had a perfect run to that point.

I've completed my new Valkyr and am in the process of ranking her up!

What's a good build for her to allow her to succeed against the Tomb Guardian?  I have the blueprint for a regular Ignis, but I lack the Nano Spores to build it...

I mod my Valkitty for Duration, Strength and Efficiency so she can activate Hysteria and keep in its effect for as long as possible. Corrosive Projection was a great Aura but I have given her Energy Siphon for those missions as it fills her Energy faster or Steel Charge Aura to give her Venka more damage (If you are a user of Zenurik with Energising Dash then skip Energy Siphon as you switch to Operator, Void Dash, switch back to Valkitty and it charges her Energy. My Valkyr Prime has 563 Energy which with Continuity, Streamline, Transient Fortitude (Rank 4) a full Umbra set and almost max Primed Flow (2 ranks off) is more than enough to take down Tomb Guardian and any clones as Hysteria makes Valkitty immortal bar very very select sources (running out of life support in Survival say). My Venka Prime is set for Viral damage as it was before the new PC status changes and I've put Corrosive on her talons.

Either way you arm her, the Ignis is great for ranged killing but having Hysteria switches her to melee as ranged attacks cancel it - giving two methods to take him on

Nope they still see you from 5 miles away. I did the MR9 test the other day to remind myself of what it was and as soon as I popped my head from the cover of section 2 an enemy on the far side of section 3 saw me and started shooting.

These tests used to be so much easier. Before, enemies needed you to be basically sniffing them in order for them to see you and the stealth tests were trivial, but the alternative we got with this 5 mile detection range is much worse.

I loved Tenchu games so this test was for me; laughable. It requires patience and timing but it isn't impossible. When I did it I hadn't even completed Natah so had no Skiajati I did have Hate and Dread. First wait for the three front most to split: one left one right. Aim glide to one and kill. If done just at the corners, you will not be spotted but wait until the guards pass. Return to start platform repeat. With those three, the central area unlocks. I watched shadows to time my pounces but I recommend practicing it until comfortable. The final section is mostly sprint > kill> both side guards then dash up to the last one on final platform once you know he goes anticlockwise around his post. MR9 complete

Yep, I've got the widget...and update, just did another one and still no codes. RNGesus y u h8 me? I guess I can try recruiting a group, cus pubs tend to kill the kitties. Hopefully my first kitty will be a smeeta...cuz right now I only have my faithful kubrow and a handful of sentinels.

*pats Vaquaera* if only I could loan you my precious Hera... I found the most random things in Void fissures, Order of the Lotus and Zealot Prelate assassinations. During one then NW2 boss battle I had somehow, four Kavat codes. Then various Void and Derelict missions they'd just show up. Whilst I did buy Ryoko, my first Smeeta as a kit frrom the Market; he was lost just before the pet changes; Hera was bred the right way I guess. She looks like a real fox too 😋. Sands of Inaros Stage 2 with a Helios, Synthesis Scanner, Sol Widget and Ivara/Loki stalking around works great too as I had enough DNA codes to breed three cats.

Can These pets still die perminately if we dont dna stableize them the nutrio upgrade things doesnt say imediately puts them in stasis anymore so i need to ask here for help

DNA stabilisers are to maintain bonuses now. Loyalty affects bonus damage and Health heh bonus Health. Kubrows lose both stats as they remain out of stasis but can only be petted three times a day. Kavats never lose Loyalty so petting your cat is more personal choice.

So what happens if these reach 0? Nothing at all your pet will just have basic health and damage stats only. The fear of a pet being perma-dead is long gone. Your pup falls in battle but you fail to get to him and revive - he'll just be on the Orbiter wagging his tail ready for more adventure no longer will he be taken forever.

Nutrio Incubator Segments now make all Stasis interactions instant without it you might need wait a couple of minutes before Lassie is fed and raring to get back out there and chew Grineer boots. Kavat Incubator Upgrade Segment is required if you love cats and that's about it. Pets 3.0 is supposed to be due... soon where lots of stuff is being changed, we'll see where it goes though 😋

I don't need advice on survival, I've done it for more than a year. My question was did they change the drop rates, because it seems like that.

and my response was to indicate how you can mitigate it by alternating how you kill as if you're sticking to just melee kills then yeah, it does dry up and you do get almost no life support. Doing something for over a year when there's been complete overhauls means nothing.

I tried a survival in sedna a few times.

Lights flickered as soon as I hacked the console to start.

15~30min in and no sign of larvling. Perhaps, there are some exceptions or DE fixed this in the last few months.

Give Titan, Saturn a try. I either get a Maniac, Larvaling, Assassin or all three (Valkyr really enjoyed that one) it's offered me loads of Lichlings just none have Brammas the only Lich weapon I care for right now as I'm trying to master every bow in the game

  9. I'm farming on Titan so can pop in here 😊 . The way mine tend to go is loads of packs in everything even lockers, until 5 mins. Then I find it gets weird as say I use Skiajati to level back from Forma'ing her; after a run of seven life support they stop. Switch to ranged and the support packs return. More annoyingly, if you use say Ignis; you mow mobs down and I can get eight life support packs but have to now sprint to the meatgrinder to collect it all then retreat back. Usually if on Gara or Khora I will put my denial up so Vitrify say; burn stuff through it but now have to run out of my wall fort around a tower in case we hit 70% just to get those packs to keep it going. A pain in the butt but try flip-flopping your murderising to see if that helps 😊

in my experience, larvlings don't spawn in survival and defense.

You're better off running capture or extermination.

then you've not been to Titan. Every visit I get flickering screen before I even set the alarm off; literally Lotus tells me to set off the alarms and lights go funny. I use Titan so much as I'm trying to get the Maniacs to drop Ash's Chassis and Systems bp's to build both him and Stalker's Smoking Body Ephemera. If people struggle to get Liches on Titan something is very very wrong

  11. Ignore everything; two guaranteed ways-

    Ivara

    Archwing

First method: wait until they attack. Use Prowl. Now kill as normal

Archwing was even easier as I had to kill 10 of them like this, just use a high-ammo weapon like Ignis or Soma as if you are on Archwing, Dargyns will mostly ignore you so fly behind and shoot the pilot with ease.

Also go to relay to practice before an attempt. The practice rooms are in cephalon simaris’ room.

where you are at it isn’t really needed, the first roadblock is usually mr9.

I found the Parkour test MR10 somewhere, harder as I just could not figure out the first vertical wall; then the MR12 is it? Time trial where we shoot orbs for time, wait on 'elevator' into maze around to end also gave me a bit of trouble. Had an Ignis Wraith gifted by a friend and cheesed it and the second. Titania for the two platform-based trials and Wisp for the Defense and Interception ones. Defense 2, MR18 is next up for me and Wisp's ready to go for it. Apparently MR19 is annoying right now as like MR9 it's Stealth-based. If you use your head, be patient: it is cake 😊

  13. I used Khora w/ Corrosive Ignis Wraith and matching Force Specter. Also had my Smeeta Vaquaera. I found keeping my girls back and letting the three cats melee him worked a peach. Didn't see any clones as the girls did so much damage he spent more time in Sarcophagus form. The Ignis has such a range you can be behind a pillar and still burn his face off being he can only Shadow Clone you not Specter even then he needs Line of Sight to do it. So I was 75% covered by a pillar (strange how games work sometimes. I can see all the way around an object but invisible wall says I can't walk or fire through what appears to be empty space) and the girls can't be Shadow/ Sand Cloned either meaning he was stuck; can't shoot me as stuck melee'ing three Kavats but can't melee either as two Khora's are melting his face with flamethrowers

Depends on your play style really, for what I used to play, I would choose Frost or Rhino for long term. They work well with CC and being fairly tanky if played well and Frost can hold well for defense missions by yourself.

If our OP had mentioned them I'd have gone to my girl Khora or Wisp. Khora is very flexible and can handle anything you throw her at but needs ESO and Sanc to get so for our OP I couldn't call on her. Wisp I learned, is insane. Like everything mods are king and modded right every frame can do very well if you practice with them but Wisp is very, very OP: buff her own hp regain, shock foes, a crazy dps death ray (that deals more damage as your victim gets hit), a QoL teleport that damages as you pass and her airborne periods make her untargettable - Wisp is just nuts 😋. For our OP I agree totally here with you especially as Khora say, takes from Frost in how Strangledome and Snowglobe both protect and deny enemy free access to say Cryopods with Frost being great against all and Khora's better for farming.

The first person to notice during the close to 3 years I've had it.

PS.  I don't think anyone actually answered the question, and they mostly mis-understood.  I was just wondering if there is any benefit to petting when they are at 100% loyalty already (Outside of adorable snuggles).  Or if its best to just wait till it is lowered.

From what we have to date:

Pets don't die, so why have Loyalty and Health? Bonuses.

Loyalty affects a pet's battle damage with afaik 150% bonus damage at 100%.

Health grants either defense or HP up to I think 100% bonus.

DNA regeneration is simply to restore the bonuses as every 12-24 hrs a pet is out of stasis, the bonus HP declines. If it reaches 0, your pet does not perish just reduced to their very bare-bare base stats.

Kavats never lose damage bonus, Kubrows do; your petting simply keeps them putting out max damage you gain no over benefits but your pup isn't losing their offense either.

Hope that explains it hun 😊

Wow, am I looking forward to that.  But Mitty can't die!  I won't let it happen.

I like people like you; caring for our animal friends. I remember before the last pet revision being terrified to take Vaquaera even to E Prime out of fear if she got hurt and I couldn't reach her, my precious Smeeta would be gone forever so I kept her in Stasis. I make it first priority on waking her to give my Kavat snugs and love - even though you never lose loyalty I just have to pet her. Even moreso if in mission she did something awesome like her taking down Stalker with Venari in a kitty tag attack... can't hug Nari (yet 😋) so Vaquaera got the hugs 😊

Best tip I can give, is never stand still just keep moving like a cat on a hot tin roof to kill the stalker, or just use void amp nuke him with your operator.
Last time I stood still having a brainfart moment I died, was funny amongst the mates who saw me go down, I normally just smite Stalkers. 😛

Some WF abilities work on Stalker like Mesa, Atlas, damn cant think of the others.
Most satisfying moments are when you happen to be Inaros and using the War sword and get to beat the living daylights out of the Stalker with his own War sword. 🤪

I've shot him with Dread, sliced him with Hate but not used either version of War. My fave was watching Corrupted Vor and Shadow Stalker both anger the Kitty. Valkyr Prime went into Hysteria and tore both of them apart on her own. Thing is WF abilities don't affect him no but Hysteria affects Valkyr herself not her victims and she has Venka Prime on when she calms down. Neither of the pair lived long enough to find out. Also got to help out a friend against Wolf and she tore him apart too; Valkyr is WF's She-Hulk, you don't wanna make her angry.. Stalker doesn't like her when she's angry 😆

  18. From what I gather, unlike Kavats; Kubrows are very similar to one another, the breeds differ so slightly that there isn't one desired above others. Contrastingly, the Smeeta Kavat is seen as the best pet currently and a rare Smeeta will fetch silly plat. Energy no rarer than others but the Ball-eared head with Fan-tail in block (so all parts are say Lotus Purple) with Solstice fur (if you have it) are seen to be the most plat-return for effort. More colors, less desirable- less plat. My Mikazuki is worth a lot as he looks like a fox but I have no intention of selling his imprints. Kubrows are sold for less as they take lower effort to make: I've got a stockpile of 32 Kubrow eggs I wish I could trade as I have one of each Beast Companion and farming Kubrow eggs is too easy. Kavat codes are much harder plus need an additional Incubator Segment before you can even consider having a kitty.

I wish you great fortune though *bowws*

  19. Find a good Khora player to help. I've learned through maining her; Entangle stops Demolists in their tracks. If she's been modded right then Entangle holds a good time and Whipclaw the Demolist stun-locks it making them trivial to handle. Just ask in Region for any helpful Khoras to give you a viable alternate aid. Were you guys on PS4 I'd happily help out but good luck out there 😋

  20. Everyone with the Arca... I use a Radiation setting Ignis Wraith and a Viral or Magnetic Skiajati set on Khora. See thing with Khora is she bothers the enemy goal as Strangledome grabs the enemy and hangs them. Also great way to get more points, ammo and energy drops. I pop Strangledome then Ignis the lot; works every single time. Just fed up of seeing nothing else suggested to you guys bar Arca every question about Index.
