I have thought of that but my puppy is so happy and goofy and I can't do that to him.

Just thought I'd throw this out there as there seems to be a lot of bad noise about the Lich quests. So what fun or strange reasons have people had for not completing particular quests in game? Just fun stuff, not "I didn't complete this quest because DE is literal Satan for creating it".

 

Mine is I never finished Howl of the Kubrow because I got far too attached to my Kubrow puppy to mature them and risk them on doing a mission. To this day my puppy is still running around my orbiter like an adorable little goofball 😊

I swear these defense operatives are the most annoying paper thin defense targets. Sorry, just needed to rant a bit.

This, especially after Wednesday's sortie against toxin enhanced Corpus and the fact that any time you finally kite the idiot into a reasonably sheltered place he'd just wander back out again and get eviscerated.

Without really trying I seem to have 5k Hexanon now. Mutagen samples otoh....

[What Weapons Would You Recommend?]

It's less what weapons you should be building but more the mods you have to hand really. Trying to get your core mods that you use in everything up to a decent level.

You could have the best weapons in the game to hand but if your mods are unranked they wint be doing all that much.

[What do you think is the easiest lich type to deal with?]

To be honest the liches I've fought spam teleport so much they don't really have time to cast their other skills. 😶

[does lich nodes lie to you?]

Lua nodes seem to be really wonky for this. I've had a few where the lich exterminate has reverted back to spy or rescue. Not fun when I use different setups for those nodes to what I use for lich stuff

Yes. It was ass, and pointless too when you can play smart with friends and pretty much work out your parazon combo without having to engage your lich a bunch of times

I'm refusing to do this challenge. I've seen way too many bugs with fortuna animal captures. The fact they added the perfect clause to capture is the icing on the turd cake.

Me and my missus had them show up last night on a mobile defence mission on Neptune.

I'd be irritated about this but one of the battalysts dropped a rare mod I hadn't got before on death 🤣

[Ranking up Lich - are there benefits?]

Pointless to.level them up imo. I'd much rather play smart and get all the murmurs I can before making an attempt on them. 

[Kuva Chakkurr, what is it?]

I'm treating mine like it's a primary counterpart to the Tombfinger, so standard crit and damage mods and a choice of elemental combo and either vigilante armaments or speed trigger, depending on what I'm fighting. 

If I'm fighting a boss I'll take the extra damage from armaments, but if I'm fighting mobs then a faster fire rate is something I find helpful

[Need weapon build help, in Lich missions.]

I've been using Hildryn a lot as I play solo/ duo with my missus. Tons of shields, can insta-heal procs with her 2, strip armour with her 3 to help with killing stuff and if it comes to it her balefire charger can deal out one hell of a bang if you've got good power strength.

[Saturn capture missions spawning almost no enemies?]

Yup. It's a ghost ship until you reach the target. Only after that do things turn up. That said, it's a nice place to go for kuva larvalings

Mine spawned after I died to the lich I was presently trying to figure out.

I find my lich quite endearing in a way. He seems so amiable as he goes around taking up territory. I think I'll keep mine

[How Can I Avoid Getting One Shot By Ancients?]

Rhino/ Rhino Prime. Iron skin negates damage and status effects while it's up. I play solo for the most part so any infested arbies Rhino gets to play in them as I've lost count how many times a toxic ancient had snuck up from behind and one shot meusing other frames.

Can confirm, my 223 amp takes 3/4 shots to take out a Vomvalyst now. Used to be one shot for armour and a second for the ethereal form. :(
