  1. well ill agree that something needs to be done with powers, since im guising im not the only one that have only 1-2 powers equiped.

most powers are complete crap compared to better ones

I personally would like to have all my warframe powers ready for use at all times. And I would like to see some way to customize your warframe abilities so that you can work out different strategies.

The fact that the game as it is would be far too easy for an upgrade of power such as this is a good point to counter with but I would like to ask this.

Take your standard survival mission. Your powers are over powered up until about 20 minutes into the survival anyway. Adding more power to those already overpowered abilities won't change anything.

The only difference it may produce is that instead of the average team capping out at 40-50 minutes in a survival, they would probably be able to cap out more around level 70-80 if even that.

The rate at which enemies SCALE and become damage sponges hits a vertical cliff after 35 minutes. This new modding concept would just allow you a little bit more breathing room, and allow you to be more stylish as you slaughter.

  2. So, if I go into a pizza shop today and ask what last weeks specials were...then demand I get those specials instead of today's specials..simply because I didn't inform myself of the deal?

Perhaps I should proceed to sue the pizza place for not calling me on my phone, mailing me priority letters and have an employee friend me on Facebook to keep me up to date on what is going on in the world?

Your logic is broken. The founders package was overextended for a super long time, warframe has made the front page on steam many times and has been talked about since like 2011 or long before.

Don't try to blame your ignorance on the rest of the world, sometimes it pays to inform yourself, we are living in the age of instant gratification in all things and of those things information is paramount.

Sorry to say, but you're barking up a tree that died months ago.

  3. What tier is your clan?

    Mountain

    Competitive?

-Most are in our clan, but we have a mixed group. The energy that comes from a win encourages those who would otherwise not be competitive to compete.

    Chilled?

    98% of the time.

    Fun?

    300% of the time.

    Just there for tech?

    -Sure why not.

How much responsibility is it for a ruler?

First lets call this position a head clan organizer, no individual should have a ruler and whenever someone tries to become one they quickly get chopped down.

Instead try to look at yourself NOT as someone who stands above the others with power,  instead look at yourself as someone who if lucky enough, may rise above the others only because they have lifted you up on their shoulders with pride!

As for the level of responsibility; As a founder of a clan, and a clan warlord you have a lot of responsibility to those who choose to be a part of the community you have created.

If you want to be successful you will need to tend to your flock, weed your garden and water your flowers.

By tending to the flock I mean you have to manage the community interact with the clan and show them you are attentive, productive and have goals you want to achieve even as simple as farming.

Weeding the Garden is removing those who have become inactive, recruitment should never end, rather it will go on short breaks in between purges.

Watering your flowers is the act of rewarding those clan members that have bloomed into the most precious additions to your community, it is these individuals who you value the most.

By default the Warlord of a clan holds the most responsibility of anyone in the group.

    Worth being ruler?

It takes a special personality to take on the role of Warlord. Many will seek the position out of a lust for power or fame, others will want to make a group of leets to crush leaderboards, and then there are those like myself who simply wanted to ensure that I have friends to play with in Warframe.

No matter your motive, it can be worth it if you TRY.

I believe that the more work you put into something the more reward you can expect. This is true in my case and my clan. I have put a great deal of my time and energy into the clan and in return I have a great group of people who believe in me and seem to enjoy themselves in the community that we have created.

I created a clan to help make other people 300% hotter...I ended up with a group of rock stars who have made me 300% more satisfied than your average clan leader.

How much of your warframe time does it take if your socially involved and helpful?

If I was hardcore about it, I could spend my entire day working all the social angles that come with the position, much of that being in recruitment and responding to inquiries. The other part being just in clan talk and organizing events and activities to keep the clan active and engaged between events and updates.

With this added is there any tips veterans can give young/new rulers?

You have to work for it!

Roll with the punches in good or bad times, throwing your hands up in the air will get you no where.

New Clan formation is difficult and slow in most cases.

You can't expect to start a new clan at this point in the game and have positive results without a lot of attention and dedication to communication and shameless self-promotion.

When I first started my clan I spent the majority of my time in the forums. It was different back then before they split up clan sizes but the fact remains. It is a lot of work at first, once you can find some reliable help within your clan members you can really start to move mountains.

THE GOLDEN RULE: lead by example.

Keep a positive attitude and a good outlook on life in general. You have to have tolerance and the ability to accept every type of personality and lifestyle with the exception of those who are poisonous to your cause, and then you need to know when to excuse the wrong members from your group with discretion.

It is very important to always consider others before you make decisions, actions or comments to your clan. Everyone of your clan members is a person, they have feelings, hopes, dreams, and they demand respect and to be treated equally. Never let your EGO consume your ability to consider these facts and act accordingly.

Put yourself in the shoes of everyone you address and speak to them with the same respect and consideration you feel you deserve, realize they are what makes your clan, not you.

As a Warlord you provide a service, hopefully a great place for people to make friends and have fun. The clan members should provide you with respect and that is all you should expect.

Just know that your clan members are providing you with a greater service and that is fellowship with the selflessness of following your idea, which in turn is truly an exceptional return on your investment.

  4. The game is in beta, most of what has been discussed in the devstreams  has yet to be implemented the game is full of place holders that will one day be updated and given the love they deserve.

I agree, only so much can be done, and so far I like the progress.

  5. The reason the powers are mods instead of being always actie is so that in the future alternative powers can be made and added seamlessly.

So..why not allow players to SWITCH power loadouts using this same method..they are just power "choices" then.

The idea of adding NEW powers to the pool doesn't negate the ability of DE to put warframe abilities on a side tray selection instead of in the MOD bins we have for the frame.

  6. *FROM the "Hot Topics" Post by DE_Megan. (link at bottom of post)*

    Ability Mods

*"Our Dev team is aware of the request to remove Ability Mods from the Drop Table. There have been some good suggestions floating around, and this topic may see dev activity as we add more mods to the pool.. Ability Mods can easily be ranked up with Fusion Cores alone and players don’t see the need to constantly obtain these Mods after 100+ hours of gameplay - but some builds require ‘underclocked’ mods so having multiples is still desired. More suggestions on where these Mods could potentially go and what to do about the growing pool of ability mods are welcome."

    INTRODUCING THE MOD CONSOLIDATOR!

    10ie5tz.jpg

-TO SPELL IT OUT:  using serration as an example, if I had all 12 levels of serration individually on 12 different individual cards each a different rank from 1-12; I could then place all 12 of those individual cards in the consolidator and be able to choose between them as needed to fit a particular build, the consolidator can be placed where the mod card would go on the weapons or warframes respectively.

    -TO ELABORATE EVEN FURTHER:

    Consider this for all mods:

A dojo tech "mod consolidator" like a CD changer but for mods of the same type. (level sets: 1-12 fusion level)

    - It can be the same size as the mods and fit into mod slots on the warframe, so it can be mobil and used on all frames in any desired mod slot.

*Basically looks like a MOD, can be moved like a mod, but is a Multiple MOD holder..like a wallet for credit cards...if the cards were all the same type.

-Only 1 mod TYPE  can be placed in 1 consolidator; type meaning "serration, vitality, etc.

-Allow Players to create as many of these as they want so that they can have the level sets of all the mods in these consolidators if desired.

-A good example would be like a CD Changer that can hold several discs. Lets pretend we have 1 original disk and several remixes of that disc. The remixes are like mods that have been fused to a different level. The 1 original disk is like the base level mod.

-A cd changer holds all these disks and you can select which one to use for the moment. The same concept applies here, only with mods of different fusion levels.

-The key here is that it acts like a consolidator of several levels of the same mod type. So that you can switch the levels on the fly instead of going into a mod screen or removing a lower level mod for a higher level one of the same type.

-If you do not have all the levels of a particular mod in the consolidator you will be limited in selection to ONLY those that you have deposited inside it.

~Let me know what you guys think About the "Mod Consolidator"

ALSO: Ways to remove Warframe Abilities as Mods and Make them Even Cooler to USE!

    53sbjk.png

    AS FOR GENERIC WARFRAME ABILITIES:

Nice suggestion! I'd be glad if DE actually inspired future mod changes from your topic. As for Warframe skills by leveling with your Warframe, do you actually mean certain overall xp % goes for skills and more xp% skills gain if you use them?

Warframe skills should never be mods to begin with, these should be pernament in my opinion. However, now Generic Ability Mods are coming and problems would occur.

Q: do you actually mean certain overall xp % goes for skills and more xp% skills gain if you use them?

A: One solution is to have the warframe abilities level up as you level your warframe from 1-30.  In this scenario the warframe will start out with all the abilities at the "unranked" as you level the warframe through the levels you also will level his/her abilities, currently we level these abilities as mods through fusion. This suggested leveling of the warframe abilities would be synchronous to the frame itself, so that a warframe ability will be at FULL power by the time the frame hits 30.

EDIT: Another solution would be to simply have the warframe abilities and "generic warframe abilities" to SCALE in power to the warframe level. This would effectively change the gameplay drastically due to the fact you couldn't run with a low level character with max level powers anymore.

You said: (warframe abilities) should be pernament in my opinion. However, now Generic Ability Mods are coming and problems would occur.

My response: To clarify to those who are not in the design council generic warframe abilities are being workied on right now, these abilities will be transferable between all the warframes. These new generic abilities will use a mod slot used for one of your 4 innate abilities.

The problem you have expressed is a concern over how these generic abilities work if the warframe abilities are permanently attached.

My answer to this is to make the warframe abilities and the generic abilities work on the same system.

So that you are given the 4 innate abilities free with the frame, as you acquire new generic abilities those abilities will also be assigned a number 1-4 and placed in a "selection table" to be chosen at the players discretion in the load out screen.

To do this you could simply have the 1-4 warframe ability area also contain an Up arrow, Down Arrow, and Left and Right arrows beside each ability placeholder.

The arrows will be used for two reasons.

1.) Up and Down could increase or lower the warframe abilities "mod capacity" (if that is even still an issue once they become a permanent part of the frame)

2.) Left and Right arrows on the warframe number ability slot will allow you to swap between innate abilities and what ever generic mods you have that work under that number.

So in conclusion, once you acquire a generic ability it is automatically added as a selection to the "attached" warframe abilities with the option to swap to it in the arsenal screen when modding, these generic abilities could be sold, as they simply just stick around in your mod collection, the system should automatically KNOW when a generic mod is in your mod collection and allow you to "swap" to it if you so desire.

Once sold or traded OUT of your mod collection, you will no longer be able to "swap" out an innate warframe ability with that generic one until you have found another to add it to your mod collection.

Generic Abilities could be leveled up by simply equipping them and and fighting with it equipped...much like the melee weapons are leveled now, simply because its equipped.

I hope these answers may make the concept less troublesome.

Quick answer to "what about generic warframe abilities"

-Allow the Circle to have a <0> arrows

When you acquire a new generic power that left or right arrow turns BLUE, this means you can swap the ability to the new generic or back to the standard power.

As for the Warframe ability leveling, instead of FUSION, just allow warframe abilities to scale to the warframe level (OR) have the abilities and generic abilities level on their own with use like a weapon does (OR) have the warframe abilities level with the warframe.

    TO CLARIFY:

The idea behind the "warframe ability mod slots" is to add BRAND NEW mods that aren't in the game right now. Mods specifically designed to enhance, alter, change a warframe ability.

-No,  current mods used on the Warframe such as Fleeting Expertise and Intensify will NOT work in the proposed new warframe ability mod slots.

-These NEW mods that will go into the warframe ability slots are to ALTER the warframe powers. NOT over power them.

-Warframe powers will STILL do what they do now by default, the mods would only add something or alter something.

-The new mods are specific to a warframe ability, having them be a clan tech mod would be 1 way to introduce them into the game. Another way would be to make them drop in special areas such as vaults or towers.

-ALL the current warframe ability mods can go BYE BYE no more need for them anymore.

-Several new mods that are designed ONLY to alter or add effects to the warframe abilities will be introduced into the game.

MORE Examples of possible alterations to powers:

1.)  Frost Globe: A mod that you can add to frost globe that makes it EXPLODE at the end of its life...freezing everything for a few moments, or better yet have an ability mod that allows you to have a mobil frost globe!

2.)  Slash Dash : A mod that adds a Bleed effect to any enemy who was hit by slash dash and not killed.

3.) Loki's invisible: A mod that if equipped will grant you health regeneration for a short time on use of Invisible.

4.) Desecrate: A mod for Desecrate, that allows you to Stun enemies briefly on use of desecrate with stacking diminishing returns on each additional desecrate for a short time after the first use so stun locking enemies would not occur.

    General Banter:

    * Currently if you have a good setup everything is already too easy until you reach a high level defense or survival, as such there is no need to consider these changes as game breaking.

These ideas are not because I feel a need to make warframes stronger,

I simply want to make modding them more fun, more specific, more custom and strategic.

Also free up space for those mods that are left out due to space constraints.

By space constraints I am speaking on the number of mod cards you can equip on a warframe

    Not the mod POINT capacity.

A WAY TO IMPROVE MOD FUSING:

(IDEA on RIGHT is for easy mod fusion, to remove the need to unequip a mod on several items in order to fuse it to a new level)

(IDEA ON LEFT is an example of why we need a mod consolidator)

  7. Funny guy. I think Flow is a little too...ridiculous. If you're going for a mature clan with an air of respectability,

"Too Ridiculous"... I don't think so!

I will just leave this here

    ea1c3o.jpg

    Air of respectability......

Oh we got all the respect!

    https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/41230-join-flow-to-become-300-hotter-mature-content-warning/?p=399849

Ability to promote own clan without the need to slander other more successful clans.....CHECK!

    We got it all!

  8. It's not a bad idea, I know that for our clan the massive member gap between the top and bottom of the Moon tier was what made us first decide to cut down members enough to become a mountain clan instead. We just felt we couldn't compete with our 500 memberes (at the time) in any event.

This helps smooth out the disadvantage of having a minimum member count while still giving an option for a clan with more members to attempt to get a better score.

Yes, I agree this type of scoring system could encourage mountain clans to cross the gap and work into the MOON tier.

Our clan was originally auto placed in the Moon tier, We knew that if we wanted to have a fighting chance to compete we would have to develop multiple recruitment efforts outside of the game itself and the Warframe Forums.

Considering these types of recruitment tactics are only a boon for DE due to the fact competitive moon clans are bringing new eyes to Warframe from outside sources daily, I can understand from a business standpoint why DE would prefer to encourage ZERG tactics in scoring as is what we have with the current system.

Having pressure to go outside the game or the Warframe forums to grow a clan to compete is not something I wanted to do.

I don't like the idea of feeling pressure to provide free marketing for Warframe in order to compete effectively.

Aside from that...I'm pretty lazy and I like the idea of getting all my recruits from the source.

I would like to eventually work into the Moon tier, once I feel we have the right number of handlers for our community to flourish beyond our current size. The one thing holding me back would be the current scoring system.

For a mountain clan to break into the moon tier, many progressive steps have to be taken in preparation such as forming sister clans to eventually merge with for the sake of numbers to compete.

Eliminating the strength in the zerg by placing a skill based scoring system that allows for a good deal of community effort to thrive such as the OP has suggested, would enable smaller clans to grow without the certainty that they will have their butts handed to them by default in the next competition.

Not to mention removing the zerg based scoring system will actually make MOON tier competitive instead it being based on who has their hooks in the largest media forum outside of warfame.

I agree with the OP, and I would like to see this type of idea deployed prior to our next competition.

  9. Congratulations Flow!

You have Earned yourself a Trophy and you have made history!

Flow will forever be remembered as one of the TOP Mountain Clans in the Tethra Event. Not too bad for an otherwise "Not So Serious" bunch.

One of the best feelings anyone can have is that feeling you get when you achieve a goal that at times felt was impossible to reach.

This feeling is the result of an immediate sense of satisfaction created by the sudden realization that all of your efforts were not made in vain, its a great feeling that only gets better the harder you've worked to posses it.

My dear Flowbians, you are that feeling for me. Each day of the Tethra Event I was fortunate enough to bare witness to the efforts made by you to ensure we stand in a respectible position in the rankings.

Each day my personal reward meter was on full simply by witnessing the clan work together to achieve a common goal. Events bring out the best in some people, I witnessed the best get even better as the competition stiffened.

Simply put, I feel like I have really achieved something great in the Flow.

One year ago I dedicated  great amounts of time to a goal and invested a great deal of myself into ensuring that my goal (Clan Flow) made a presence in the Warframe community.

If asked, I could not measure the return on my investment you have given me in numbers.

The success of Flow can only be measured in feelings, and as such I could not feel any better about my investiment than I do right now!

Creating Flow has been a labor of love for me from day 2...day 1 was complicated. This event has effectively reinforcement for me what I already knew from the start.

    That we are Awesome!

Thank you to all who supported Flow in the Tethra Event. Below I have selected 10 individuals whom I would like to thank with platinum for their dedication to the clan, and their ability to reach within themself to find the motivation to TRY.

Trying is all we had to do. Never Stop Trying in What Ever You Do!

    <<Flow Clan's Platinum Prize WInners>>

Before I begin to list all of the winners of this competition I want to first point out the TRUE first place winner in this event: DRASIEL

Had it not been for Drasiel's efforts over the past year this clan would NOT be where it is today, she has nutured and carried Flow through rather tough times, but she always managed to keep it together and encourage the Clan to have fellowship and activity.

Drasiel is Priceless in my opinion, there is no amount of Platinum that I could reward her for what she has done for us. So the REAL top Prize should go to Drasiel!

But she's already like rich as hell, so we're gonna give out the rewards to the following honorary Flowbians:

1st place: sshawnsamuell: 400 Platinum Reward
(This man is responsible for our last minute resurgence, without his efforts we would have surely fell to 4th place)

    2nd Place:Squig: 300 Platinum Reward
(Squig has shown consistent effort at all times to be a helping hand, in this event he stepped up his game even further and assisted me in countless runs to improve scores)

    3rd Place: Ruby_Rose: 200 Platinum Reward
(Ruby_Rose was one of my first responders, taking independent action to improve the bottomline, Ruby is highly responsible for our initial surge in the leaderboards)

4th Place: Akinit: 100 Platinum Reward
(Akinit played a large part in the final push to victory, pushing himself to endure sleep deprivation to ensure we reached our goal and beyond, even while suffering from health complications, a true soldier of Flow)

    5th Place: CY13BERPUNK: 100 Platinum Reward
(CY13BER displayed exceptional ability to be patient and work through difficult situations when attempting to run for high scores with new players to warframe, his ability to stay positive and respectful while trying to negotiate such a task is an unrefutable sign of premium leadership capability)

    6th Place:MattQaz: 100 Platinum Reward
(MattQaz impresses me with his devotion to Flow, though our play schedules seldom cross, I can see that MattQaz is doing anything he can to advance the Clan, During this event I witnessed him assisting fellow Tenno on several occasions.

7th Place: Anoroc: 100 Platinum Reward
(Anoroc is constantly positive and energetic when it comes to helping out with clan related things. This event was no exception, Anoroc took to this with unbridled wrath.

8th Place: Sparkysparkyboomman: 100 Platinum Reward
(Sparkysparkybooman along with Squig spent a great deal of selfless time helping run the lesser equiped Flowbians through the event to improve scores and provide assistance in achieving the needed requirements for rewards; this type of team spirit cannot be ignored)

9th Place: Hippienut: 100 Platinum Reward
(Hippienut was more than willing to lend his exceptional skill and gunner ferocity to the table when the Flow clan needed him most. Hippienut is the one person I would choose if I needed a dead eye crackshot to stop the bad men.

10th Place: Hadronox: 100 Platinum Reward
(New to the Clan, Hadronox immediantly began looking for ways to assist Flow, Hadronox is responsible for helping many Flowbians close the gap between the mediocre and the higher scores. Ask him about his ultimate mod buying and drop rate/location guide! <<Highly recommend you do before you ever sell or buy any mods using the free market.

Clan Flow will be Hosting a Reward Ceremony in the Flojo.

This will be in what is now the current spawn location known as the Upper Echelon Living Quarters and Ceremonial Hall.

The current decorations in the Ceremonial Hall will need to be completed before the rewards are dispensed among the public.

Please look for the event in your steam community group calendar.

<<Please Donate to decorations in the Ceremonial Hall so that they can be complete on time for the Rewards Ceremony!!>>

Congratulations FLOW, we did it, and I cannot wait for the next Event!
