  1. In the time it takes you to read this post, someone at [DE] could have posted "Due to an abundance of work, we've moved June's Twitch Prime rewards to July. Double rewards in July!"

    They didn't do so.

But yeah, the Twitch rewards portal now has a booster and a cosmetic scheduled in July. If you didn't know, now you do.

Now let's get on with our miserable lives.

  2. I don't have that mod, and if I did, I probably couldn't afford to max it. I still haven't cleared the star chart.

Therefore, I propose this: Give me all your stuff.

If I have all your stuff, I'll have all the cool things that make the game easier, which will be fun for me. You will not have those things, so the game will be challenging, which is fun for you.

    Win-win!

You have a kitty? I don't have a kitty - Give me stuff.

You have arcanes? I don't have arcanes. - Give me stuff.

You have magnus? Don't know what that is. - Give me stuff.

Pizzas? Still don't know what that is. - Give me stuff.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

  3. The Sunpoint Plasma Drill is great... for Orb and PoE standing and content. The shocking fishing spear is also nice as fishing lets you avoid combat you can't handle while still getting solid amounts of standing. But he's not strong enough to do high level bounties, and probably doesn't have enough credits to rank up.

This is a player who is MR 3 and still clearing Venus. Almost everything else he could do would be significantly more rewarding at this point.

  4. Stronger Weapons.

Stronger Warframe powers while I'm at it.

I want a two-handed katana that can slice the Exploiter Orb open in one swipe while dropping mini-nukes around me in a 5k radius. Maybe on the third strike, the mailed banhammer of [DE] Kickbot appears above the battlefield before crashing to the ground in a fiery inferno, turning the map and all enemies on it into smoking cinder.

Until that happens, no, the weapons are not strong enough.

  5. You're more stubborn than I was.

I'll ask whether you're having fun right now because:

    1) The content is unnecessarily difficult for where you are in the game.

    2) Most of the Orb Vallis rewards aren't useful outside of that area. It's easy to sink a ton of time into it and PoE and realize you've gotten very little in return.

Here's the thing though, everything shouldn't be for everyone. Different people like different things, if you try to please everyone you will never fully satisfy anyone.

    I agree!

I'm sorry if it sounded otherwise. For Warframe's health, it needs both popular content that a wide-range of people can do, and specialized content, whether it be hardcore modes, railjack, or just being able to fish for standing instead of doing bounties.

I agree that it would exclude a decent portion of the player base... but! Player base is growing old and there are quite alot of veterans, actually.

Do you think exclusion would be less of a problem depending on the reward?
Like, something that's nice to have, but you can always just get it next season. Pretty much how umbra forma is to Nightwave.
Of course the reward also has to be worth it, but that's a different topic.

I am okay with some rewards being exclusive to specific content, and some of that content being difficult or beyond some players.

At the same time, I look at how [DE] has handled Nightwave and ask myself if they're going to put much time and energy into running it as well as a hardcore season, if hardcore doesn't have many active players. i can see this as being something they abandon rather quickly.

  7. I reached my 100th log-in yesterday.

I then attempted to clear a kuva lich area and got stomped hard by level 75-84 enemies. I understand that many people on the forums believe Warframe is one of the easiest games ever and mowing down 100+ level enemies is a breeze, but I continue to doubt that reflects the majority of the playerbase.

I suspect that a seaonal hardcore star chart clear would exclude most players.

Relics and Fissure system was created to replace the old Void key system, and in the old void key system there was an advantage for endurance mission in the form of being able to get the more reward the longer you stay, without spending another void key. (and this make a lot of people burned out with void tile set fatigue)

The relic system removed that advantage completely for endurance mission, so DE feel the need to add a different advantage for endurance fissure so that spamming capture fissure isn't the best method of opening relic for everybody (at least in the form of you can farm more void trace the longer you stay in endurance runs due to the resource boost)

This makes sense. It's porting over a legacy system to maintain a perceived reward from the void-key era.

    Thanks.

  9. I don't have a single arcane, so I disagree with the notion that "everyone is swimming in them."

Given that each copy of the Plains is instanced, they should be able to time lock them. If you go to Cestus and pick a day bounty, it's day. If you pick a night bounty, it's night. You can't pick both and it's the hosts decision.

If you go to the Plains from the starchart or don't pick a bounty in Cetus, it's whatever time of day the server says it is.

  10. July 1st: [DE] creates a universal loot table that every enemy has. There's a 00.0000023% chance of a aesthetic item dropping.

July 2nd: The forum is filled with outraged threads from people who've done nothing but farm for the item and haven't gotten it yet. The grind is too hard, and this shows [DE] is lazy, hates its players, and loves only money.

July 5th: The first player death is reported after man locks himself in this room and farms for four days straight.

July 10th: Outraged at [DE] forcing them to grind for this item, a group of players launch a class-action lawsuit against the company, demanding compensation for the physical, financial, and emotional hardships they've had to endure.

There's a huge "Press 5 to use transference" banner in the middle top of the screen, but the "Hit kuva" voice line plays really rarely.

The queen playing her "don't let them hurt my siphon" really often also leads to many players thinking you have to attack the siphon directly.

The first time I encountered a kuva cloud, I...

    Attacked the braids.

When the braids looked invulnerable, I killed the guardians, as that how it worked previously.

Then I switched to operator and shone my nightlight on the braids.

    Then my operator died.

Then I killed the gunner who had killed me, pulled out my gun and started shooting all over the syphon, trying to find any weakpoints.

Then, I shot at the black cloud.

Then, I went into operator and tried to blast the black cloud. It didn't work. I likely missed or maybe I hit E instead of shooting it.

All the while, the Lotus was telling me to shoot the kuva. Kuva is a red liquid. So I ran around the map looking for some kuva, figuring I was meant to destroy something else and then take the syphon.
