    They made a pretty good TLDR just with their last number points. I don't know why they added the actual TLDR bit just to tell people to read it - if people wanted to read the whole thing they wouldn't have looked for a TLDR.

     

    The problem with OP's thread is that they don't appear to have read the upcoming changes from DE. Changes are happening (not necessarily these ones.

    Try using the Ephemera the person on the YT video is using? You are comparing two different screenshots. Find one that doesn't use any ephemera as this could be affecting it.

     

    Make sure you set "Deferred Rendering" on in the launcher.

    This is a terrible suggestion. It would be highly detrimental 99% of the time by keeping enemies pointlessly 'alive'. Parazon finishers do feel a bit odd, but this is not the answer.

    Provided there is a cooldown maybe. But any system that pointlessly keeps enemies alive "just in case" is a bad one. I don't think this is a good idea. I see little point in using the parazon. It disrupts the flow of things and really is pointless. 

     

    If it could be implemented in a way that doesn't disrupt the mission or other players at all then it could work. But I don't know how well that would work with everything else. I do question what the point in DE putting this much effort into a system that wont be used much is.

    The easiest solution on PC is to just use a keyboard to change the stuff. It would probably work on consoles that support it. No it shouldn't be required. But DE really doesn't seem to care about people that want/have to use controllers. So we are stuck with it like this, reset your controls for a chance that it will work. It didn't for me, or my friend.

    Now this is simply not true. "Affects" implies that people care. Some people don't even know the ship can be moved in the loading screen. I have never paid enough attention to it to notice if what you are saying is true. I reckon it affects barely anyone. Note that I have been playing for longer than you and couldn't care less if DE does anything about it. (what's the relevance in how long you have played?) Also, I don't use the Liset, so it should be more pronounced on my ship, yet I have never noticed it (perhaps not cared enough to see it).

    This has been an issue since DE changed the system. It should have been fixed within a few weeks. But DE has ignored it since day one. It was an issue on OC for controller users who complained about it, DE ignored it and released to console.

     

    Default keybindings may or may not work. Never did for me.

    It has been this way since the start with non-Tennogen skins. You probably should have made sure you knew what you were buying.

    This is a terrible TLDR, try again. Also, if you are going to assign numbers to points keep it consistent. You swap them around between your lists.

     

    I don’t think protea is fine As is, but I am not sure how much your changes would help.

    I guess you don’t know about fast travel then. It would be quicker to just open the menu and fast travel to navigation than to pat your pet. Let’s not have collisions on pets.

    DE has stated that they would like to do this eventually. It may just be a case of needing some more Nightwave things to stick there first.

    Because this is exactly what people would do (not with every single item obviously). How many things do you look at on these forums where if people behaved in a sensible way it wouldn't be an issue? You also wouldn't have to favourite everything to defeat the point in it. Once you get to about 30 - 50 items in a list it gets a bit much (look at frames for example). It works better with less items in it.

    Note: I never said it would be broken for everyone if some people did this. Many people would be able to ruin it for themselves. Then they go on the forums and complain about it being terrible and broken. It seems silly, I agree. But it happens all the time. So DE can just hardcap it from the start.

    You could. But what's the point in DE implementing a new system that cannot function to achieve the goal? If they let you put as many things in as you like then the system doesn't actually work. DE should impose a hardcap to ensure that the system can function at an acceptable level. My suggested numbers are on the low side, but it was to give an idea.

    The reason I saw is something about an update to chat's text. So the bot cannot read it anymore (I don't think DE intended for that to happen). Apparently semlar people are working on getting it back.

    • I have only heard this from others. Nothing officially from them.

    What choice do you have? Search is a pretty simple system. I get that it isn't ideal, but when there is no other option you just have to deal with it.

     

    I also don't sell anything. But I see marginal benefit from a favourites system. Its usefulness is significantly hindered when you start adding more items to it. If you put 20 items in the "Primary" category it will still filter them by name, just higher up the list. DE would have to impose say a 10 weapon limit per category, and 5 for frames (suggested counts). Or else the search function is still going to be more useful.

    "Exponentially greater" suggests that newer players will be completely excluded from the system. Poor mods and such. The people that can benefit the most should be allowed to profit from the system right? From an endgame perspective, I don't really thing "exponentially greater" is going to be an issue - we have buffs and DPS abilities, we have CC and healing frames. It may work better to just give single use items that allow bonuses from a mission rather than increasing levels.

     

    Multi-tasking would be good. But DE likes everything to be its own little island. What you are describing sounds like it would require DE to re-balance a lot of stuff and adjust things. DE has shown that they like to take the easier route previously, so I don't think anything is going to change. It is hard to integrate lots of content.

    Maybe the secret is that they are just ghosts? Old Fortuna was attacked and most killed right? But yeah, collisions seem like something that should be in place. It could perhaps be an issue with terrible pathing and NPC's getting stuck on each other.

    If that was actually the case I would agree with you. I am yet to find a situation where it is true though. This is why you need to provide some more information - build and enemy level.

    • If Valkyr's Talons make you feel weaker than previously you have messed something up. It is easy to get high damage, and who can forget being totally invulnerable.

    You have to say what level/faction "strong enemies" are. I haven't noticed any issues at all against strong enemies. The exalted melees work fine against a Lich. What are you fighting that there is an issue?

    You are placing far too much emphasis on bleed status. If your damage is high enough they really don't matter. I have had no issues with Talons not dealing enough damage. 

     

    You seem to either be fighting way higher level enemies than "typical" or using trash builds if you are having these issues. If you could expand on what a "strong enemy" is, and what builds you have tried people might understand your issue more. At this point it just seems like you are doing something wrong.

    Wait until DE has completely reworked stealth to make this actually possible.

     

    OP, reasonable idea. But it cannot possibly work. Just getting executions is impossible without CC abilities. And if you allow abilities people will just use damage abilities.
