  1. A pristine silver and blue ship entered Venus's atmosphere. Its sole occupant reclined on a throne-like seat in the helm, clad in full body plate armour of original design. He was a steel meridian operative who bore a massive build of finely-tuned muscle.

"Yeah, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with this program. It should be harmless," a voice spoke through transmission, "Just make sure you keep XerOS enabled and you'll be fine."

The operative leaned forward with a grin spreading across his chiseled face. "That is, Disruptis, if this lucky clover you gave me doesn't already have a snake hiding underneath it," he mused.

"Oh please, I can't imagine what kind of divine judgement I would receive for betraying such a man as yourself, but I know it would easily smite a Tenno like me."

A hollow chuckle resounded from the operative's helmet. "Very well then. Thank you again my brohda, I'll let you get back to holding off the gates of hell."

"I mean, I COULD USE SOME HEL--" the operative terminated the transmission and strode over to the ship's controls; the vessel now cruising above the icy depths of a Venusian sea. He punched in the approach vector supplied and executed the doorbell program. "Now, what could be the problem?" he muttered to himself.

I suggest that the Lamina and Clypeum should just be a reskin of the Ack and Brunt, since that’s a Grinner shield and sword.

Yeah, it's just a normal sword and shield made out of normal metal. I only made it up because it didn't quite make sense lore wise for Daubeny to wield any other sword and shield combo. He also can't use the Ack because it's an axe and his melee specialization is the sword.

  3. Operator’s Name: Disruptis

    Race: Orokin

    Warframe(s): Limbo

    Spoiler

(General appearance, usually seen wearing additional clothing like a cloak or hood)

    Weapons:

    Primary:

    Quartakk

This weapon was stolen from a random grineer grunt who managed to single-handedly foil one of Disruptis’s master schemes. The Tenno fell in love with it, even dubbing it as the most versatile and durable weapon he has ever seen on this side of the Void. He generally encounters problems with actively shooting and pulling guns in/out of the rift, with the exception of the Quartakk. Tweaks made allow easy customization of the interior along with a feature to swap from burst-->semi-->auto.

    Opticor

Kept on the orbiter in case a situation requires a heavy-duty energy weapon.

    Secondary:

    Synoid Gammacor

Stolen from a Cephalon Suda operative. In the process of attempting to modify this weapon, Disruptis went through a total of 8 Synoid Gammacors. Of course, he had to get those by completing missions for Cephalon with her operatives, then picking them off their corpses as they died. As a result of Suda discovering his intentions, she has now banned operatives from deploying into a mission with Disruptis. Disruptis possesses a couple cores with various preprogrammed instructions he can use allowing him to harness the power of the gammacor in unique ways. One such core can assist him in hacking operations by performing operations such as multi and long-range hacking. Another one allows him to perform instant codex scans as long as the beam comes into contact with the target. Other cores are kept secret for now (they aren’t all that game-changing, just perkish)

    Melee:

    Guandao

Disruptis prefers holding his enemy’s at two arms’ length. The upper blade on his Guandao is slightly smaller than usual variants with an overall longer blade portion. Disruptis employs a unique fighting style where he pops in and out of the rift right when his hit is about to connect.

    Rakta Dark Dagger

This was actually acquired through legitimate means from close bonds with the Red Veil. Disruptis uses it in close quarters combat when he needs an edge. This dagger is often thrown, resulting in Disruptis frequently losing and having to chase after it again.

    Miscellaneous:

    Specters

Disruptis holds a total of seven specters in his arsenal with the exact appearance of his Limbo warframe. These specters can be remoted into and controlled, but the user loses the ability to control their actual warframe while doing so. Since specters are significantly inferior in terms of combat output, this is primarily used for diplomatic situations and bamboozlement. He can grant others the power to control his specters too, and they can be hacked into with enough time and effort. The specters run on VoidScript.

Focus School: Naramon, the way of the tactician.

Bio: During the Void Jump incident aboard the Zariman Ten Zero, a certain child came into contact with an unknown being. This being didn't have much power in the face of the Void, but it wished to enact certain plans outside of the Void somehow. It needed a vessel. The being forced a fragment of its oro into the small child, destroying part of the child’s oro and fusing with the rest of it. The child, now confused about its identity and rapidly losing all memories, took up the name given to him by the entity: Disruptis. For the rest of his life, Disruptis would ponder whether or not he had the same personality as when he was born.

Thereafter, Disruptis would often feel a will pulling him towards certain actions. During the Old War, Disruptis displayed incredible proficiency in espionage balanced upon his thirst for the battlefield. However, he chose the way of the Naramon because fighting fervently on the battlefield is more of a hobby than his actual lifestyle.

Following his awakening, Disruptis was fascinated with the Void and the Rift. Finally given the freedom to discover it, he wasted no time immersing himself in his studies. He travelled all across the Origin system, documenting the unexplained mysteries lurking within each location and barely crawling out alive of the scrapes he got himself into. This Tenno is a very reckless and eccentric individual, but almost always has a method to his madness. Almost. That doesn’t stop him from leaving his plans unexplained for the sake of an opportunity to feast on the reactions of his comrades, however.

Disruptis primarily uses a black and yellow Limbo warframe sporting either a Venari or Aureolus helmet (depending on the occasion). His cephalon’s name is XerAI.

Through his various escapades, Disruptis had stumbled across a broadcast on Lua. His eyes lit up when he heard there was a force dedicated to pressing forward towards the resolution of the Long War. Disruptis had always tried bring down the Grineer and Corpus down as much as possible, but feelt like every time he crushed a head, more grew to take its place. That and with his subsequent falling out with the Lotus, he needed somewhere else to go to. The Remnant was an enticing idea for a craving Tenno like him, so he set his Orbiter on course.

I would like to see more info that you “stored away”.

It's literally just his bio describing where and how he grew up. I won't clutter the OOC with it here unless @InfiniumV absolutely needs it because it is quite lengthy.

We are still accepting. Your OC looks fine overall without any contradictions, and the custom weapons seem to be standard enough that Infinium will let them in. Just one question, though, if Daubeny is fighting for the Steel Meridian/Militibus de Pulvere against the Grineer, why would he have fought a Tenno to get the Seer?

Because the Tenno in question wasn't exactly a "good guy". I don't want to reveal spoilers if I don't have to, but let's just say that he was doing some very naughty things.

  6. Are you still accepting?

    Name: Daubeny Cyk

    Race: Human

    Apparent and Actual Age: 37

Appearance: Daubeny is a towering 6”7 of pure ripped masculinity. Several scars stretch across his lightly tanned body, though the only usually visible one resides on his left cheek. His figure is broad, but not big and bulky.

Personality: Daubeny upholds the ideals of his faction. The age old Earth teachings of honor and chivalry are things he values highly. He bears surprisingly more laid back persona than one would might expect however, making it easy to befriend him. He enjoys a good, hard fought battle and a strong alcohol for the end of the day.

Affiliation: Daubeny is an elite knight of a small faction named “Militibus de Pulvere”. The faction resides in a sizeable human colony on Mars named “Rubrum” whose conquests have pushed back much Grineer territory in their sector. Due to their small size, however, they can’t contest a full out Grineer assault on their own, so they allied themselves with the Steel Meridian. This is where Daubeny comes in. He is the ambassador for the Steel Meridian on behalf of the Militibus de Pulvere, but most of his work entails combat rather than paperwork.

Modus Operandi: Around the time he caught word of this transmission, Daubeny was wondering how to make some extra money in order to help with reconstruction back at his homeland. Seeing the opportunity, he asked permission to embark. He was granted it as long as he promised to report anything too dastardly or suspicious that could affect the Steel Meridian. With that, he was off.

    Personal Equipment:

    Guardian Armour

A set including a suit of armour and helmet obtained upon Daubeny’s rank up to an Elite. It is made primarily of alloy plate, and covers his entire body. True to ancient battle equipment techniques, he also wears a tunic below his plate armour made of an old but functional material referred to in old readings as “carbon nano-fiber weave”.

    Weaponry:

    Lamina and Clypeum

This is a sword and shield set created specially by the Militibus de Pulvere. The Lamina sword is approximately 91cm in total length with a double edged blade that reaches 73cm. His Clypeum shield covers a great amount of his body and can be mounted on his arm in order to be used in tandem with a two-handed gun, although this feat requires a big amount of strength. It also holds a sheath for the Lamina.

    Vaykor Hek

Since he possessed the high-standing of a general in the Steel-meridian, Daubeny was issued a Vaykor Hek. His partiality to weapons that blow enemies into smithereens held the shotgun in high favour.

    Brakk

    See above.

    Seer

This particular Seer was stripped from the hands of a fallen warframe. It was his only time killing one, a feat he barely escaped alive. This one isn’t the brakk purely because he needs something to be able to aim with precisely.

    Companions: None.

    Bio:

Daubeny grew up in a human colony on Mars named “Rubrum”, home to a faction of humans named “Militibus de Pulvere” who prided themselves on the ancient societal codes of “chivalry” and “honor”. This colony was powerful, regularly capturing grineer facilities to expand their territory and training an army of capable soldiers. As a child, Daubeny would regularly sneak on board these lootings and swipe various grineer equipment for himself. He couldn’t avoid the Grineer forever though, for he was still in young. One day while sneaking around amidst the chaos, he was caught by a grineer bombard. The enemy seriously injured him, but an elite soldier with the rank of “knight” engaging in battle spotted and saved the young boy. As Daubeny grew into adolecensce, he requested to be trained as a soldier under the supervision of the man who had saved him those few years before, a knight named “Enkiree”. Enkiree accepted, raising him as if he was kin. Daubeny was very passionate about the chivalric code of the faction and, with enough time and experience, was accepted as an elite class knight.

The Militibus de Pulvere were not people to underestimate their opponents or grow dull from consecutive victory, but nothing could’ve prepared them for what happened next. The grineer, tired of the faction’s shenanigans, launched an overpowering and merciless assault on Rubrum. They cleaned up the conquerors, pushing their territory back for miles. The Militibus de Pulvere attempted to request aid from the Lotus, but because of her skeptical opinions of their actions, help finally arrived… much too late. They were not destroyed, just torn apart. Enkiree died in the brief war, receiving the second-highest honor of any knight before him.

In an attempt to make powerful allies in order to stop this situation from recurring, Daubeny was chosen to become an ambassador between the Steel Meridian and the Militibus de Pulvere. However, his life of ambassador required him to do more than just pushing pencils. In fact, he hardly had to oversee any business. Instead, he assisted the Steel Meridian in their military efforts under the title of a General. Even though he was a formidable strategist, he always preferred to leave the planning to someone else and plunge into the heart of battle. He has had his fair share of adventures with them since.

  8. SoRecently, I was fishing with my Mesa when I missed a jump over a body of water and panicked, mashing a combination of buttons. When I hit the water, surface bent and I was submerged instead of being sent back to my starting position. I was now freely moving underwater. I could do almost anything, including shooting fish with my gun, which only caused them to die and drop nothing. You can watch a quick video of it I uploaded here.

  9. Meanwhile, amidst all the talking, Valkyr was relishing the feeling of being re-energized by the orb. The feeling was so good that any Valkyr could get addicted to it. She was so entranced in euphoria that she almost didn't notice Frost talking to her. "Hmmm, what? Oh. R-right. Ummm...."

That was peculiar, Valkyr thought that Frost didn't want to go with her, but it appeared that he changed his mind. Valkyr didn't want to admit that she had been secretly seeking some company. The thought made her blush a little. "We probably don't have time to rest! I think that if this thing is like infested flesh, then it probably infested or did something to the lifeline. I don't know. If these were created by some crazy scientist here on the station, then maybe.... Research? Going there is probably a good start. What do you guys think?"

    ((@anyone))

  10. ((No problem, if it helps to cut back on time it's ok :satisfied:))

Valkyr tore the regenerating flesh away and picked up the orb. She was already imagining placing it upon a stand to display in her landing craft. Before she could take a closer look, however, her heightened hearing picked up the sound of shuffling in front of them. She could make out a warframe standing there in the darkness, but couldn't identify which type.

"Hello? Who are you?" Valkyr asked. @samuelx43a
