  1. DE said that vaulted items will come back with the void rework. .

     

     

     

     

    Not really saying vaulting is being stopped. He's saying it will increase the variety of missions you do to get the currently available parts.

     

    As WindBlade mention they never confirmed vaulted items will come back with the void rework in that Devstream. You are free to interpret their statements regarding the issue how ever you like but don't make conclusions on their return based on idle chat about starchart 3.0

     

    Fact is that they never needed to remove any parts at all. They could simply fix the core issue of dilution by removing access resources, keys, duplicated parts, forma, cores, mutagen mass, mutalist nav cords, etc etc. Instead they choose to remove several parts and not address the issue at all. Why would they do that in the first way? Certaintly not to decrease the grind for players and make everything more accessible for players for we all know that is never gonna happen.

  2. I have all frames and I did have a strong distaste for Trinity for quite a long time. With her lobster tail and not a very exciting set of abilities she did not peek my interest even in the slightest. After acquiring her though that changed. She can do just about anything and she also have superb augments.Particularly Vampire Leech and Abaiting Link.

     

    I have a loadout for Energy Vampire, Immortal solo build and Blessing build for raids. All those are useable for any content in the game and really shows how diverse and fun she actually can be. I still don't like her lobster behind but at least I can cover that with my Vanquished Banner.

     

    Now for the one I did hate and still hate with furor after trying. That price goes to Hydroid. For me he just seems like a Davy Jones cash grab (Pirates of the caribbean) and has the most lackluster kit of them all. He can make it rain, traverse the map as a mini wave, soil himself, and spread tentacles he has no control of where goes around the map.

     

    Most of his abilities prolong the time it takes to kill things and his one redeeming feature the Pilfering augment got nerfed away. Everytime I see him in a squad I cringe and rue the time his tentacles come to flay all the enemies and their loot all over the place. So for me he retained my hate without a hitch.

     

    So which frames changed your view on them and which did not?

  3. If I read somewhere else that Mesa was nerfed, I will throw a chair to the face of the person that said it -_-

     

    Now peacemaker is affected by Strength (dmg), Efficiency (energy drain) and Range (size of reticle). That is 3 out of the 4 options. The last being Duration which is needed for her 2 best abilities. Namely Shatter Shield and Shooting Gallery. So we get a ultimate that is so heavy to mod for that it almost becomes pointless to mod for all 3 instances it require unless you want to forgo the rest of her abilities. The ultimate of any frame should be useable and a part of their kit, but since Peacemaker was so powerful I fear it will be turned into a novelty instead.

     

    Even my 3 forma Duration Mesa had a useable Peacemaker that I could use if I all of a sudden found myself overwhelmed by enemy numbers.In addition to this she now becomes even more vulnerable even if you have a shatter shield active due to the fact that she does not have 360 protection with her Peacemaker. The reticle has to be turned and will decrease all while the rest of your view is being blured. At the same time you are rooted in one place. So any mission that has any slightly high level enemies you are susceptible to being one hit by enemies from your blindspot. Bombards, Napalms, Draks, Butchers, Prodmen any radial disarmed enemy can walk straight up to Mesa and whack her to death as Shatter shield only reduce bullet damage. Not melee.

     

    So from being useable from low level to high mid tier it now has the possibility to become just a low level skill unless you find a tunnel spot and stand in one spot defending it. Which is exactly what DE does not want. On PC players can use macro's to make her turn 360 all the time and be less affected by such a change than the console players. Since I play on PS4 holding down a mousebutton and going AFK to watch youtube has never been a actual playstyle.

     

    Mesa was actually one of the best designed warframes that have arrived lately. She has one of the most amazing visuals designs. Have 3 really good abilites and only one a bit underpar. Namely Ballistic Battery. Even so all 4 can be used and useful. How many other warframes can one say that about? But since the nerfherders started screaming everyday in the forums she already got a "rework" which I find kind of sad. Her Peacemaker was powerful but not as all winning as people would have it to.

     

    So how is this "rework" not a nerf? It decreases the effectiveness, it decreases your field of view, it decreases your protection from enemies, it increases the mods needed for the ability, it narrows each time you kill an enemy, you even get less gun kata moves. So are you still ready with your chair?

     

    As all the other things that got nerfed they mostly worked with a good constellation of frames that complemented each other to make a good farming group. If you want there is no problem swapping Mesa for a Excalibur in a Draco run as his Radial Javelin can still clear the map with ease. So what did DE really accomplish rather than move the meta to something else while possibly stomping over Mesa along the way?

     

    Fixing the immense grind that causes such instances to appear would be a more solid approach than destroying X amounts of warframes along the way just because they helped the players alleviate the grind.

  4. You can click the control panel to bring it down again. You just have to wait for it to reach the top first.

     

    Nope, I was just about to post the same topic as OP as well.

     

    The last days I have been stuck downstairs 8 out of 10 times I have joined the game. I have spent entire rounds trying to press the elevator button. I have also ask the players on top to try and press the button from the top. Also tried parkouring to the top. Tried /unstuck. It just does not work.

     

    So the option is to stay there for a round and get free xp and rep or leave the game and get mission failed.

    This is such a big misconception I don't even know where to start. If something would involve the majority of the community it would be added in a questioner IN GAME for everybody login in within a certain timeframe (e.g 2-4 weeks) to answer.

     

    Take a look at the community hot topic's for example. The 5 last ones have gathered:

     

    September:1997 votes

    August: 1977 votes

    July: 1804 votes

    July: 2119 votes

    June. 2083 votes

     

    That is a average of 1996 votes. This for a game that a in March 2014 had 7.818.888 players. Yes that is close to 8 million players.

    How anyone can claim that something was done or requested by the majority of the community in this game is beyond me. Not ONCE have the

    majority of the community been involved in any such game changing decisions.The fact that a company rely on a mere thousands of votes or let the vocal minority dictate reworks is definitivly not a good trend.

     

    For be honest do any of you really think that Mesa would ever be looked at if it was not for the daily hate post every day on these forums? Same can be said for Synoid Gammacor, Viver gate and a most of the other nerfherder topics The sad answer is that the vocal minority is actually the ones that get heard.

     

    Fine, just don't go around claiming that is "majority of the community" wanted this and that.

  6. Also, I scanned all the nightwatch grineer (both manually and through Helios) and they don't show up in my codex.

    Anyone experiencing the same?

     

    Yup only the nighwatch reavers turn up in my codex

     

    Not sure why everyone is saying toxin (maybe all dual stats drop here) but in my personal experience, only the electric set does.

     

    The reason everyone is saying toxin is that they also drop. I got Voltaic strike on 1st mission, Rift sigl 2nd mission and Pistol Pestilence from 3rd mission.  Done several runs after that and gotten High Voltage, Transmution cores, Malignant force and more Voltaic strikes and Pistol pestilences.

  7. Their homing missile capabilities should also be reduced. I was in the big  void room with a huge tree in the middle and jumped down and ran in through the corridor to try and find a hidden cache. Lo and behold the missile when through 2 floors and into the corridor and hit me in the room. Without me even seeing the bombard.

     

    Excalibur of course have to have line of sight to radial any thing. It all makes so much sense. If not changed give me one of those weapons as well.  Then I can stand at missions start and nuke every enemy on the map.
