  1. Huh. I had an idea almost exactly like this as a sort of voodoo/puppet master themed frame in my head.

For the fourth ability, I basically envisioned a kind of taking control over a group of enemies who get tied up by marionette strings and aim where you aim, go where you go, and shoot where you shoot. Kind of a strange cross between Hall of Mirrors and Shadows of the Dead in a way.

  2. While waiting for U17, I was just doing a bit of random looking around at my mods and began thinking how silly it could get if some of the more situational of them were to be primed. While I personally would slot a Primed Rush any day of the week on several frames, I was thinking something like either Primed Thunderbolt or Primed Firestorm (Because blast radius is like dakka. More is always better. And that room full of grineer didn't need to be there anyway.)

Anyway, what do the rest of you think about how silly mods could be if they were to have a primed counterpart (This is just for fun so no worrying or whining about core costs!)?

  3. Having reached the point where I don't actually even need to pick up resources anymore due to having probably an entire corpus freight ship of Alloy Plates alone, I personally think that carrier is more of a convenience of just not walking a few more steps and prefer the utility of my Huras Kubrow. Because invisibility is more useful in my opinion. But this is just my personal play-style and I can never say I've had trouble just sliding by/through a crowd of enemies past two hours of T4 survival. Hell, most of the time, by the time you reach that level your sentential is dead anyway due to stray fire/AoE damage or so it goes in my opinion.

  4. Mods that force all status procs to be of one given status as well as give bonus damage to the given element that is being affected. I really do want a 100% blast proc weapon to just knock down everything... Or set everything on fire or whatever.

Also a second augment for Cataclysm where enemies will be sucked towards the center of the rift for the first few seconds of the power's duration not unlike Vortex. Not only do you debilitate a cluster of enemies and they don't shoot you down while you're in the rift for a few moments but then you can just fire off your Tonkor/weapon of choice at that tidy little cluster of targets you now have.

Also a dead aim mod that isn't tied to a specific weapon. That would be cool too.

  5. I feel like they nailed the voices for Vor and Salad V pretty well. I rather like this although I'm basing this only off of sound as I don't understand what is actually being said.

...I do hope they do get an equally smexy Tyl as well. It is only fair. And just and all that is right in the world.

  6. When you say you will be 'taking a look' on weapons or frames (Say shotguns, snipers, and Frost for specific examples) what is the process that you go through? What things do you look for to determine if a frame or weapon is 'under-performing' and what process do you go through in order to get it up to a place deemed serviceable? Do you focus mostly on what the community says requires work or do you also have an internal metric to determine something needs a rework?

  7. I understand that PWE isn't part of THIS deal but, with that deal and now this on with another company. And since it was stated that they now own 58% of it now, with this new deal. and with what PWE own. whether or not the have development input or not. DE is slowly loosing controling interest in their own company. At least thats how it appears. Because no one will post the exact details in layman terms. to tell use exactly what this means for DE and Warframe. We are left with speculation. Given PWE's evident history of destroying good games. and now a Company I've never heard of. buy up a percentage of the company. What does this mean. And I'm sure you and most of the players have already felt the influence of PWE in the game as that deal took place what will happen now? I ask? and you said that DE still holds at leas 2/3rds of the company but at 58% thats over half. So how much does PWE own. and whats left for DE  to really have a say over?

I'm confused on your reasoning here.

PWE isn't even a part of this deal. At all. Period.

PWE has never been a part of this. At all. Period.

PWE is a totally different body. Period.

In order for any outside force to dictate what is gonna happen, they need 66% of all shares. Without this, even 65% might as well be 0 other than in terms of revenue.

  8. Been a long-time fan of the vectis but it's been some time since I've really done much modding to the old gal, having stuck by my usual build.

Now, I've been looking at the Warframe builder site and I keep seeing people slotting Heavy Caliber and I keep wondering what their reasoning behind that is. I thought that the accuracy drop made the gun unreliable for actual sniping and, because of that, not normally worth slotting. Has something changed recently or are people just blindly going for large numbers and being ignorant of the cost?

  9. Sure they have a lot on their plates, but it's not like someone else is making them.

Well.. Wait, what do you mean by this?

I know a lot of the community are telling them to do things and they are, by and large, trying to do them in a way that's the most healthy to the long-term game. To the best of their ability and vision, of course, as no person is perfect and what is awesome for one is sucky to another.
