  1. Would it be possible for Void Traces capacity to scale with Mastery Rank? I think I would happily settle for a "excess" capacity for Traces that decay overtime (like argon) that is equal to Mastery Rank. So a player with MR 20 would get 120 traces with the last 20 that decay over time.

  2. My favorite part of the con was meeting the staff, easily!

    Second favorite was the pizza in the concession booth. I mean, damn, it actually caught me off-guard with how good it was for a random stand. I'm in shock to this day.

    I regret how little time I spent with some staff:

    • Rebecca: Shame you were in a hurry for the Sound Panel as you signed everyone's stuff in the line.
    • Steve: I wanted to talk more about Focus but I didn't want to delay everyone in the line any further after getting my founder shirt signed. Hope you saw the tweet I sent with that concept I talked about. At the risk of sounding insistant about it, here is a link to the thread, for anyone curious. Y'all have to forgive me if I sound like a broken clock, I spent a bit of time on this document.
    • [DE] Skreee: I was going to find your red cap after the autograph booth was abruptly closed, but nature called just before Tenno Live. I just meant to say that, despite how long he speaks, Corrupted Vor is one of my favorite character to listen to!

    Otherwise the sound panel was a riot, that Kavat-related video killed my sides for the day! The sound department needs to film more stuff like this and the sewer visit.

    Thank you DE for setting all of this up, we had a blast!

  3. Overall a good list of change, me thinks. Especially with the Corpus content that is supposedly coming.

    I'm just not sold on Prodmen getting a "rage" mode. Corpus in general do not strike me as a faction prone to giving in to their emotions, other than greed maybe. I think such a system should highlight their technique or technology, over raw strength.

    I wonder if I could get a tour (edit - tour of the DE office/studio) should I knock on DE's door? (I missed out on the $200 brunch ticket).

    DE had an happening with a random dude infiltrating their studio, and said that they rather didn't like the random creeping. I wouldn't advise walking up to their place unannounced.

    What's more, they are probably going to be busy as all get out up until Saturday, when they will either close or work on a skeleton crew.

  5. I assume you are talking about the digital swag that requires physical attendance;

    DE made these cosmetics to highlight the physical attendance of people to their very first and private convention.

    There's already plenty of items that can be bought to have "virtual" prestige. There are no items yet to commemorate attendance to their first convention.

  6. Well:

    • Grineer and Corpus both try to kill or maim Tenno, for fear or greed respectively.
    • Corpus are ex-Orokin, the guys that enslaved the Grineer clones and were betrayed by the Tenno.
    • Tenno are a mix between defending themselves and preemptively attacking.

    Founders Pack (yeah sure is the first prime access under the name of "Founders Pack") DE has cried after money at the beginning - GAVE US YOUR MONEY!

    Warframe and the Founder Pack were made around the time where bankruptcy was a very real possibility for DE.

    But sure. Players were "tricked" into making sure DE remains in business and De is greedy.

    TennoCon (we gave you "free" stuff if you buy the ticket) again they are crying after money (any other *Con event gives you nothing only memories) - GAVE US YOUR MONEY!

    All proceeds are going to charity.

    But sure. DE is greedy. How dare they try to attract tourists to their town of operation and donate money to a charity.

  8. I submit the following reflexions for Nyx, Oberon and Vauban:

    • Nyx: It bothers me that her passive is associated to her abilities. How does one cleave the line between "an effect of the abilities" and "a character's passive"? This is without mentioning how it competes with Radial Disarm or her second augment.
    • Oberon: I do not think the Wildlifes are enough of a tide turner to warrant a timer; just let their health bar work as their timer. Additionally, it seems the conversion process is unreliable, I do not know if it's because a dice is rolled or something in the game's inner working.
    • Vauban: His passive depends on teammates, which is problematic because it makes him depend on the goodwill of pubbies or the teamwork or premades to get any effect at all.

  9. I'm gonna say something that might sound really stupid but hear me out:

    Maybe we should get one thematic passive, and one practical passive.

    From my point of view, Inaros has set a new standard for passive, that is making it much harder for other passives to compare:

    1. He has no shields, but tons of health.
    2. On death, he turns into a sarcophagus.

    See, it's impossible to make a proper build for Inaros while ignoring his first passive, which makes him very distinguished from other frames. The second one however, you can kinda build for it, but most of the time you will not account for it in your build and it will mostly be a thematic novelty.

    "Eight Unairu (wtf)" is right. Only reason to do that is because it looks cool.

    You don't even need Eight Unairu polarities actually. Rotating sigils is a thing, so technically you could get a similar effect with other polarities.

    Seriously though, it looks good and is a nice concept. Would like to see it in-game. I think it would be odd, though. If I wanted the "Caster build" one of one of my frames that has different polarities, I couldn't. Still, +1.

    Well, in theory, the Sigil wouldn't actually be "purposefully" shaped by the played. It would be a rendition of your Warframe's status more than a canvas. I realize some people want more control over that kind of visuals, but I find that there is a certain beauty in patterns that emerges "organically", without a clear direction.

    As with every single thing I do in life, here is the 18-page long google document to explain the concept.

    The examples do not have fancy effects and I didn't bother showing more than one "system" to expand the Constellations. This isn't the only way it could work.

    This is only a visualization of an idea I had, after calling one of my Warframe (and my doge) "Constellations" because of all the forma stars on them.

    And to be 100% clear, there is no 18 page long document, that was a joke referencing another concept of mine.

    That is all.
  12. Honestly tho, when did Oxium becomes a "high supply" resource that warranted crafting costs in the thousands?

    People have tons of Control Modules, Nano Spores and Alloy Plate, but Oxium?

    I assume you guys have behind-the-scene figures for people stockpiles, but still, it's hard for me to imagine anyone stockpiling thousands of Oxium...

  13. In one of the "Ask a Cephalon" capsule, we actually got a bit of insight about Grineer hierarchy. We learned that Grineer are actively encouraged to compete for power and standing (we can see this sort of power struggle with the trailer featuring Captain Vor) but every "normal" Grineer are completely loyal to the Queens: That is the only thing keeping their empire working, or else the Grineer would fall apart and splinter into smaller groups led by warlords.

    Also, as it happens, the Queens are actually Orokin twins. According to the Kuria lore, these sisters were so hardcore during the Grineer rebellions that they awed all the Grineer by their fighting prowess. Because of a history of Twin discrimination in the Orokin society (clones were slaves; twins are natural clones), the Twins eventually said "F*** this" and took the side of the Grineer, who actually appreciated them.

    In that case i'd rather have him be a giant crewman-shaped mech carrying an enormous prod that he sweeps the entire arena with. because reasons

    Nonsense, John Prodman only needs his cattle prod, and nothing else.

    So would Clem be Prodman's Genos?

    Nyx = Tatsumaki-chan

    Volt = Speed O'Sound Sonic

    Nekros = Silverfang

    Stalker = Akai Mask

    Excalibur = Atomic Samurai

    Hot Pink Rhino (Mirage Noble Animation) = Puri Puri Prisoner

    Right?

    Clem being Genos feels forced. I think only Def, nephew of Nef Anyo, has any kind of claim to that spot.

    Nyx is mind control and err, full-bodied. Mag would be a better Tatsumaki.

    Volt or Nezha could be Speed O'Sound Sonic.

    Nekros would be a weak Silverfang but it works.

    The rest are perfect.

    I myself established Inaros as Melzalgald.
