Is it at least re-usable or one time only?
-
Well if we're talking buff, I think it'd be kind of cool if the weapon had an armor debuff to inflict more damage on the sucker.
Think Slag like in Borderlands 2.
I think the gun definitely needs more range tho.
-
Um, do you have a better description of the room? Or better, a picture?
Were you pushed back to stairs by some wind effect?
The credit rewards for the standard derelict missions seem weak to cover the cost to even make the key and to buy the key blueprint. This is after full exploration containers and carrier vacuuming any credit enemies.
They are not remotely as rewarding as even t1 voids. So being a credit sink seems unwarranted.
That is a good point.
I would also like to point out that I don't think Survival in the derelict has any rewards (baring the loot we got). It'd be nice to have a reward for those.
I'm not saying it could be Forma, but I am implying it.

Question: Did anyone try to see if the Embolist applied an armor debuff? It does mention acidic gas...
I dunno about you guys, but a sprayer armor-debuffer could be interesting. Without saying it's worth 2 forma, it would go a long way to justify it.

So much rage. Let's be honest though. Is it really that bad to have weapons require a decent amount of farming and effort to create? As much as I like instant gratification, the three new clan weapons are top tier gear. Of course they're going to have high resource requirements. The time in between updates is significant. I don't really want to have nothing to work for while I'm waiting for more events/content to be released. So having some weapons that actually require more effort than going to the market/clan, buying the blueprint, and then using the resources that I've piled up over the last few months doesn't seem so bad to me.
As to the forma. Yes, two forma is more than one. But, forma haven't stopped dropping. I've run about 30 runs of T3 extermination over the past weekend farming for the dakka prime and I've gotten three forma blueprints. Given that the wiki's reported drop rate was about 4.5% that's more than I should have gotten, so maybe it was luck, but the point is that forma still drop. A lot of the void loot tables have changed so maybe to go along with the increased forma requirement there are going to be more forma dropping from the void. Just speculation based on my own experience, but who knows.
I think most everyone can agree, only the Forma is problematic.
Even the weapons that need only one Forma are a turn off. I mean, we got a lot of use for Forma, but only so many sources. At the very least, it should be retired as a crafting mat for the Dojo.

I hear y'all.
That's a cheap shot DE. I thought that making us wait 3 days just to research the weapons and THEN another 3 days for the second tier Synapse/Djinn was cheap, but you just out-cheaped yourself...
And with the costly research price, I'm out of Mutagens samples too... That's evil at this point.
-
This is completely unacceptable, ESPECIALLY because nobody knows where to get Forma ingame anymore since the Void drops got shuffled.
Uh? What about the Void drops? I wasn't aware Forma didn't drop anymore.
-
I just started my build for it.
JESUS, two Formas. What did I ever do to you DE?!
And I stacked 10 mutagen mass in prevision of the release of 3 new weapons, but jesus, I never planned for that inflation.

Ok. I was just clarifying as you titled it 'Wierd Shadow'. Anyway, I would say it is relevant to the thread too.
Weird shadow is the generic term I use for that kind of glitch, be it on 'frames, walls, containers.
My game keeps crashing i cant even make it to the end of a single mission. How do i fix this and does anyone else have this problem.
We'd need more details on the crash. I heard some people fixed their problem by un-checking Directx11 or something and checking the multi-thread in the launcher's setting. Haven't tried myself, but that could help.
Plenty of reason for you to go back to the Derelict, Kinperor: NEURODES!
They drop there far better than on Earth, and in my experiences, better than Eris too (while the mobs are a heck of a lot weaker than Eris).
I'm rolling in almost every mats that the Derelict gives really. Except maybe cells (it drops that, right?), but even those I'm starting to get in quantities with Ruk speed runs.
-
I know they aren't unique, I try to report those that I see. And generally speaking, when I see one texture-less, it will be texture less all the time. There's one container for instance that is always texture less in one of the Orokin Void vault. Can't remember if I reported it tho...
Until a designer tells me otherwise, I'm assuming it's relevant to this thread.

General opinion about the tile set: It's ok. I just don't know what to tell you, I like the visuals and the theme of decay, but it reminds me bad things. Namely, the Demon Ruins in Dark Souls, including Dragon &#! Hell. (I didn't like that area perso, but that's another game)
I also don't like the stability issues. I barely could complete any run without crashing (how I could host a whole Golem run is a miracle). Otherwise I really like all the sweet spots of loot.
Dunno what else to say really. What I do know is that there are issues. Oh boy, are there. But we can start by fixing those:
#7 TBF: Collision issue.
Speaks for itself. Normally, chicken can't go knee-deep in wood.
Hope that helps you guys. I would snap more shots, but I have a hard time playing in the Derelicts because of the crashing issues, something I hope you are working on.
Another thing I'd like to add: Will you add anything to make it worth my time to visit the Derelict? Cause right now, with Nekros building, I don't see a reason to go back.
EDIT: The reported problems that were fixed has been removed (1 through 11).
-
That's an armoured codpiece.
Personally I think he is compensating.
-
Have you taken a look at Nekros? Or Ash?
Dem crotch bulges!
Everyone but Rhino is essentially wearing space spandex, male or female alike.
Rhino has the biggest bulge.

You guys said that Update 9 was to be your "polishing" update.
How do you rate Update 9's tweaks in that regard? Are you satisfied with the polishing or you felt you could've done more?

If you liked the Latron (Prime), the Grakata, the Gorgon, the Supra, the Snipetrons and the Hikous... well the Soma is pretty much all those weapons combined as far as I can tell.
Seriously, at some point I used it just like I would use my Latron Prime, scoring headshot from 40-50 meters away and killing Grineers in one shot on Lua. Doesn't say much on the damage, but its telling of the accuracy.
Honestly I can't think of a downside for this weapon. Not even the ammo inefficiency (but that may be because I'm used to forma'ing the Grakata).
Hence why I'm expecting a Soma nerf.
-
Tried Soma myself, and it's beastly... maybe too much so. I'm expecting a nerf perso, so I'll abstain from potato'ing it.
-
My clan could start all the researches for Dual Ichor and the pistol (Embolist I think), but we still got like 1 day and a half to wait, and then we gotta build them.
Mat weren't a problem... Yet.
-
I'm not sure if it's related, but I got a WAR-96803 occur.
Tho now, I am crashing ALL THE TIME in the Derelict, and I don't get any crash handler. I think it's related to my card (Nvidia Geforce 780), because me and an acquaintance with the same card keeps crashing. On the other hand, we got a friend who could host without ever crashing with an AMD something.
I really hope you can roll out a hotfix by today for that, I just can't complete any Derelict mission, and it's annoying for those I invite too.
I'll see about sending the EE.log to support.
-
Are you guys talking about the room which has rails transporting some Cryopods? And there's a secret room in the ceiling reachable by a growth and broken pipes?
I had problems there too. And my comp is far from bad.
I wish I had the crash log, but it seems it's not the game itself that's crashing but my drivers or something, because I get no crash logs.
-
I don't know if someone shared that already in another thread, but here's what the results of the poll looked like:
So yeah, Curb Stomp Battle as we call it. I find it kinda funny how there's like 5-7 popular submissions and the rest barely have 1 percent each.
-
Gratz to the winners.
What about the mysterious implication that Geoff could work on more dioramas? Are we gonna get news on that?

#135 TBF: Out of reach drop. (Put on ice)
When the cart lose its collision somehow, we wish it didn't. But when we drop something under said cart, we wish it lost its collision box. Life is weird.
#137 TBF: Wall trap. (Put on ice)
Link:
That one is touchy. You pretty much need to land at the same spot on the wall, and stop the wall run by crouching just above the handrail while looking at the wall. I had a hard time replicating it, so if you want to do it, make sure you do it like I did as much as possible. My Ash's speed was un-modded.Have a good one.
EDIT: Cleansed post of reports.

More reports:
#119 TBF: Wall clip.
There's a chance if you jump just right that you'll land on the highlighted area and be stuck in a very uncomfortable merging with the wall around. I suggest putting up an invisible wall there, since there's nothing to be seen anyway, and really it's just a odd spot that you need a weird jump to reach. Same tile as #121 if it wasn't clear.
#123 TBC: Rock merging.
Hard to see, but in game it's pretty easy to see that this pillar is made of different entity of rock, with one popping through the other. I think at the very least you should push the rock in a way that it doesn't pop out this way. The best thing to do IMO would be redoing the pillar (so that you don't have two different piece forming a pillar), but that should be part of a bigger rework of the defense tile.
#128 TBF: Floating moss.
Speaks for itself, Banshee was nice enough to highlight the problem as I was taking the pic.
EDIT: Post cleansed from reports.

#34 TBF: Pit of Failure
This view is the same as the entire pit I found myself stuck in; An area too small to wall run through, and no way to get back up. The type of room may be recognizable by the shape on the map, but regardless, the only way out was to abort the mission.
Ah yeah I found that one too. I dusted off a pic from outside the pic to help the devs: http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2013/37/1378923267-pit-of-failure-grineer-galleon.jpg
Oi, I think one tile isn't behaving and is merging with the one where you stand. Do you happen to have the level's imprint? You can find those in the EE.log (location: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Warframe). (Don't post your EE.log in public). The designers need that info to find which tile is problematic.
Really? You Took Out Mutagensamples?

This man speaks truth, I fish 7-10 per defense runs. Lockers and containers can be abused for maximum gain.
Also, I am starting to believe the change was made to make players play the Derelict set, and hopefully get all those players to test the map to iron out the bugs.
Just like they did a survival event. It wasn't 24 hours maps just for our pretty eyes, they were there to make players test the same map extensively.
... That's my conspiracy theory anyway.
