  1. I was thinking recently about making molt explode with Venom if ever it is destroyed (say by a pack of infested), but I like molt also hosting the spores.

EDIT: After casting Venom on it I mean.

  2. 1st Loki, because he's the most fun to play Warframe

    2nd Ash, because he's a real Ninja

3rd Nova, because she's the 2nd fastest frame and I like to use Antimatter drop

    Just listing 3.

I actually potato'd Loki (my starter) last because I thought (and still think) that he is super strong even without a potato. Well, "last". I still haven't potato'd Ash or Mag and my Nova is being build. I really have no idea who I'll give that gold potato I have to...

  3. Razers and such "gaming" mouse has a problem with being too "powerful" while not taking into consideration the ergo-comfort of gamers. They like to even make their products more "powerful" (durable, DPI sensitivity, etc.) by putting some irritating "disco" lights aka the LED lights, which are actually useless.

    ... What

Why is the Dragon-whatever mouse even on your short list if you don't like gaming mouse? It doesn't look comfortable at all and seems like the posterboy of overly complicated gaming mouse.

It's your decision in the end, but as I said the Razer Deathadder is stupidly comfortable, is worth about 80$, and has 2 extra buttons (which is just perfect if you ask me). I play hours at time with mine without any problem (played Warframe for 350 hours). If the LEDs bother you, you can turn them off with the mouse driver you get from Razer's site.

  4. I highly suggest using the Razer Naga Hex, just google it.

I got a Razer mouse myself, but I really can't recommend anything with more than 2 buttons (excluding the base three).

Unless you are confident that you can make use of it to it's fullest, just stick to something like a Razer Deathadder (silly name, I know). I'm using that one, and it is pretty darn comfortable to me.

  5. You could probably get a somewhat accurate guesstimate if we had access to the full leader boards instead of just the 20 or some clans in the bracket of our own clans...

If you found the absolute worst (or closest) clans in each bracket, they would be last on the leader board and their position would tell us how many clans there are approximately.

Ours is 160-something in Arid Fear, so we'd need someone who's clan has like 0 points in every events to get a good idea.

... Or a staff could post the number here.

  6. Definitely agree on Venom, I routinely use it along with a pet-Vauban and optionally a pet-Nova. The lag spike is worth the sheer power of Venom.

It's ridiculous when you think about how hard it outclass EVERYTHING. I had a Rhino try (in vain) to clear a lot of enemies that were afflicted by Venom. Scary-awesome stuff.

  7. Saryn is far from being a bad frame.

    One godly ability

    Two above average abilities

    One meh ability

Far better off than most others.

Which is which? Miasma=godly, molt/venom=above average and contagion=meh?

Also, Venom deserves a special mention for outclassing every ult when you stack it enough on a crowd of level 90+.

  8. First: Those are not all in the Grineer ship (the Galleon).

Second: The devs fix a lot of thing, but there's no way to know when we'll get the corrections on live because they can't just cram every fix in a single update (they try to keep hotfixes at 6 MB) or so I understodd.

Third: If you're gonna bump because you want attention, consider posting in the Explorafun threads (there's one for each tileset), the devs follow these threads. Just make sure to post each pic in the tileset that belongs.

Fourth: The pics with rock popping through walls are more or less useless to designers: they would need details on what the tile arrangement was because it's a case by case problem. You can find the level's imprint in your EE logs (don't post those in public, they house private information). Your logs are probably already out of date (they keep the info on the latest level), but in the future you can find them there: "C:\Users <username>\AppData\Local\Warframe". Again, the devs recommend against posting those in public.

    Hope that helps.

  9. Well, it wouldn't make each weapon that much special.

Everyone would go for Hornet Strike/Serration or Multishot

Overall, it's not a bad idea. If it wouldn't be for those mods though..

Well, maybe if we had more diverse mods than "do damage this way instead of this way", it would be more interesting. But just the chance to make your favorite weapon better than substandard is good.

Taking melee for example: If you could make melee channel the permanent  fuse, that'd be pretty neat. You now have a weapon with innate scaling of energy use.

Or apply the same thing to 'Frames, and now you can place less popular mods (like heavy impact) in the permanent slot or something and keep your frame versatile with other mods you can remove/add as you please.

  10. About weapon balance: I had an idea recently to do something to make each weapon more special: Allow us to fuse permanently a mod into the weapon. Kinda like a super powered Forma.

Either the mod still take a slot but is much stronger, or it keeps the same strength but doesn't take a slot.

It was a idle thought really, didn't carve out any balance details.

  11. The lag is a problem that the devs are aware and are (hopefully) working on.

And adding Metal Auger or Shred doesn't hide the fact that there is a problem with spores (refer to the video I posted above you). The shots I fired clearly landed on the spore, yet it didn't explode. I don't know if it's specific to Dera or if there is a problem with the spore's hitbox, but it seems to me that it's the latter.

There's far too many situation where hitting a spore isn't reliable. I couldn't list them all, but as I said the Ancients have it the worst in term of spotty hitbox.

  12. Performing Necromancy. I ran into this problem (again). Caught it on video if that helps the devs (Weapon is Dera if it wasn't clear):

There wasn't any lag or anything, I fail to see how none of those shots I landed on the heavy triggered any explosion.

I'm also noticing that the new Ancients have very spotty hitboxes when it comes to spores and Bastille. It's to the point where the only reliable spore to shoot is the one that is under their foot and doesn't float up with them in Bastille.

  13. It's all in the title.

Complementary information: I have Gorgon/Supra/Grakata that are potato'd already.

On the one hand I have a serious obsession with potato'ing high-ROF weapons and should probably use that pretty potato on another weapon since I won't get another one until the next alert. But on the other hand, I could shoot WAY more lasers with my Dera.

No man should have to make a decision this difficult...
