oh, okies, i just thought ivara and gave myself a horrifying image of a dog with like, 200 arrows lodged in its mouth and shooting them at random, and i guess the mag charger would be useful, but if each one would have a unique appearance depending on the frame, some might be hard to figure out, like zeppy girl, who has a weirdly designed helmet. i imagine each one would be based off the standard appearance of the warframe, but what about the prime versions? would they simply use the normal charger or would they have a unique appearance and stronger abilities?

but i think that the vauban charger would be the biggest problem, as vaubans abilities are too different, but i'd imagine it would use the different mine's from the 'minelayer' ability

octavia charger would probably have what i'd call a 'passive mallet' so every so often it will act like octavia's mallet

garuda charger would probably use blood altar and a much weaker seeking talons

baruuk charger i have no clue

ash charger might use seeking shuriken and smokescreen

atlas charger would use petrify (probably)

banshee charger would use sound blast (cant remember what banshee's first ability was called), sonar and silence

chroma would probably just use spectral breath

ember might use fireball and a much smaller version of World On Fire

equinox charger might randomly swap forms and use mend and maim

frost charger might launch ice waves like the hyena (cant remember which) in the Orb Vallis

gara charger would use glass leash

harrow charger should be destroyed as no crit-god doggo

    hydroid charger, just no

inaros charger would be something out a horror movie

khora charger would use a smaller strangledome

limbo charger would probably just make everyone rage so it should have no right to exist

loki charger would make decoys of itself and make both itself and the warframe invisible, and might even teleport with enemies

mesa charger would provide a passive gun damage buff to allies and would randomly provide high damage bursts to allies

mirage charger would make prism lasers but with less beams and could possibly even use hall of mirrors

nekros charger would probably have a passive desecrate and also be able to use Shadows of the Dead (companions rarely get kills so it seems fair)

nezha charger would provide warding halo to allies and also use Divine Spear with a much smaller area

nova charger would use antimatter and nova's 2nd ability

nyx charger could randomly mind control enemies or use Chaos

oberon charger could just use hallowed ground

revenant charger would work the same as nyx charger but without the Chaos and be able to control more enemies

rhino charger could provide the tenno with Iron Skin and randomly use rhino's fourth

saryn charger would randomly use spores on enemies

titania would use tribute on random enemies to provide titania's normal tribute buffs

trinity charger would use energy vampire and well of life

volt charger would create smaller volt shields and zap any enemies nearby every few seconds

wukong charger can only really use Iron Jab as wukong doesn't have any good abilities to use

thats my list of abilities for each charger, except the one's you said, but some of these chargers shouldn't be allowed to exist

Keep in mind that the charger is a viral monstruosity, so it wouldn't be rare that some aspects of these new chargers ended up being horrifying by themselves. I feel Infested up to this point have been quite tame in the horror department.

Zephyr charger could have feathers (we don't know the range of helminth's mutation, but looking at what it does to human, its a lot), but it would probably be better to just give it feather-like chitinous blades.

Primes shouldn't affect the visuals as what they are remains inside, the virus trait is the same for both vanila and primes, primes just have an extra layer of gold

Vauban could use infested globs with various effects or even something similar to Nidus's larva

Octavia could use a taunt like mallet, but also something that acts like the somachord needle, slicing enemy units in wide arcs with tendrils.

Garuda would probably use the lunge part of dread mirror and maybe the shooting too, and also the seeking talons

Baruuk might use Lull with sleeping spores, and would be cool for it to have serene storm as fast swipes or something

Ash would probably use what you said, but I wouldn't be disattisfied if it divided itself in a similar way to Ash's clones...

Atlas could use petrify, but I think it would be as some kind of venom instead of pure void energy, also having it doing combo hits would be cool

Banshee is probably using those skills, maybe with the aid of special sound organs

Chroma should be a super bulky charger able to deploy the "Pelt" and use something along the lines of vex armor like normal chroma, the breath ability is still really bad.

Ember is quite troublesome, can a infested actually use fire? I mean, Ember can but... should our charger do?

If Equinox isn't a bisected two headed dog similar to Adjules of Resident Evil 5 I'm gonna feel scammed, about the skills? not sure, Equinox has too many that could be replicated in biological lvl in some way...

Frost will probably do that with some kind of freezing component or something, not sure how that would work...

Gara with some kind of brittle chitin could not only use shattered lash, but also splinter storm

Harrow charger could use tendrils to stun prey, and also release spores that make the enemy units prone to drop energy orbs upon death

Hydroid charger YES!! Equal parts disgusting and awesome, spawning infested tentacles to mash the enemy and also becoming a infested puddle that inflicts toxic and makes the enemy be slowed while stepping on it

Inaros charger would probably blind enemy and also devour them, nothing out of the ordinary here

Maybe strangledome could be a bit too much, but using tonge lashes and also summoning some kind of helminth pack could be quite awesome for a pet.

You can't get pissed with a infested limbo dog that wears a top hat, no one could ever, about how the powers could work? no idea

Loki charger would probably use that, although it irks me a bit how similar it would be to Smeeta Kavat...

I feel that a Mesa charger could work better with some skill added, I mean not only buff and forget, although it should have at least one of the ones you said, but maybe being able to mark enemy units in a similar way to Banshee's weak spots, rewarding precise aim like the normal Mesa would do as a gunner

Would be really cool to see Mirage charger use hall of mirrors, but its gonna be nightmare fuel if they decide to give it a more organic look to those clones instead of the pure energy void that Mirage uses.

Nekros charger would probably become meta the same day it was implemented.

Its better for all of us for a Nezha charger to have what you described, would be cool to have it using firewalker, but it would be useless with current AI...

Nova could work perfect that way, I only hope it can cause a weaker form of molecular prism on struck enemy.

Nyx would be great that way, even more due to mind control being already part of the Infested

Oberon could use hallowed ground, but also smite in a more bloody way.

Revenant would be another odd one, I mean, Revenant is infused with eidolon powers, but would the Helminth?

Iron skin is a must for bulky Rhino Charger, roar and stomp could both work

Saryn seems simple, but isn't that much, spores is a must but the charger could use any of her other skills depending on how they want to make it.

Titania Charger would be a waste if it couldn't become the first flying charger

For Trinity charger, Energy vampire would make her meta, but I think that having something along the lines of Nidus's Parasitic Link would work wonders

Volt would be ultra fast dog, I think that it would be cool for it to create electrical arc barriers like Dauntless' Stormclaw

Don't be so mean with poor Wukong charger, smashing the ground with its tail, and also becoming a huge could that blinds and poison enemy units could make it quite the addition to the team

A really great idea, but I fear it will lead to a lot of doubling, as the precepts shouldn't be to devastating, but will probably give some nice combinations. It would also lead to a lot of work for visuals, as they shouldn't look the same.

Ivara : just give them Stalk and a projectile based ranged attack

Zephyr : stay with trample, just change the visuals to look more like Tailwind, as a 2nd Turbulence on charger would be nice, but an Airburst could also work

    so True ^^

Yes, doubling is a quite concerning issue, as many warframe already have overlapping skills that only change in some aspects (slash dash, rhino charge, tailwind...) but that's part of where the fun is in these kind of things.

I intend some Chargers to be offensive, other supportive and other outright tanky, so that should help a lot with skill distribution.

  3. Since the Adaptation mod was implemented I have wished for a melee weapon based on the Sentient adaptation.

This weapon would gather elemental resist the same way the mod does, but slower and only when parrying. Those elements would be stored in the form of % damage resist to said damage type, but once the weapon was channeled, they would be added as elemental damage to said weapon until the stored damage reached 0% or the user stopped channeling.

that does sound great, and in all honesty i would absolutely love that! but what would a "mag charger" do as a helminth launching enemies about the place randomly would probably be more of a hinderance than a help. i am also curious as to what an "ivara charger" would do, because dogs launching arrows out their mouth sounds more like something from a horror movie, as does a "zeppy(zephyr) charger"

I haven't though about all skill types, and if the Frame-chargers would have to inherit the whole skill or some weakened form, similar to how current Helminth Charger has Proboscis being quite similar to Larva and Trample to Virulence

Mag Charger should be able to use something similar to Mag's combo, maybe "Magnetize", but with an opposite effect, turning the magnetized ally into a bullet repeller, and "Polarize", being a pretty unique skill that no other companion has as far as I know.

Ivara Charger could use spikes, similar to how the Mutalist Moas shoot spikes at you, but giving an AI the "Quiver" could lead to a lot of bugs, maybe giving it a team wide "Prowl", similar to Huras' invis, but with the pickpocket effect added could work. As a second skill "Navigator" could do wonders as some kind of buffs that gives the buffed warframe a certain amount of homing and punch through in ranged weapons.

Zephyr Charger is a bit complex due to her moveset, but a variation of "Turbulence" for defense and a radial "Airburst" to disrupt the enemy units should be enough to make this Charger quite durable.

The true horror would be Hydroid Charger....

  5. Visuals are gorgeous but the skills... I mean, they just look like another take on Chroma

    Color related elements? Check

First skill shoot elemental damage? Check

Second skill is a buff aura? Check

Third skill is a Damage Amp? Check

Only fourth skill could be considered different, and its pretty inefficient by itself

-You can't select the element, its random

-You need to spend energy to place it, and then spend MORE energy to charge it so it does anything at all

-Its a severely restricted area DPS, doesn't even do any burst damage at the beginning

-When picked up, that it becomes usefull, it drains EVEN MORE energy

-Only has synergy with the first skill, kinda ignoring the rest.

Just to make it clear, I like your idea a lot, but I think that if you are gonna take Chroma's theme, and focus on it to create a sort of "elementalist mage" frame (magic circle) you need to improve everything that Chroma did wrong with that thematic. As it is right now, your Warframe looks like a dragonless Chroma with composite elements.

  6. There are currently 5 types of Kubrow (6 if we count Helminth charger being a part of them)

2 types of Kavat (+ venari) and many different combinations of heads and tails

Up to 3 different Moa heads, that can be combined in many ways

9 Sentinels (+ primes and prisma)

But there is only one Helminth Charger, that even though it can be considered a Kubrow, it isn't anymore as it is a Kubrow-Nidus.

Knowing where warframes come from as we do right now, having Helminth develop a different type (looks+skills) depending on wich warframe the cyst came from upon incubation would be an interesting way to make helminth charger interesting again, making it a suitable pet for most missions over the omnipresent kavats and sentinels

    Example:

An "Excal Charger" would be able to blind enemy units around it with a bioluminiscent organ coming out of its mouth, while also being able to impale and ragdoll everything around it with a burst of spikes.

this idea is amazing, it would definitely give a challenge boost for those who want something fun and difficult to do after they've done pretty much everything.

Love to hear that, as this could be one of the only ways for us to get a boss battle that we can't oneshot if it doesn't use invul phases or deals absurd area damage, and I feel this game could use some of that (also is a way to have huge floofs for the lisset)

I mean instead of simply needing more tranqs maybe add a level of pokemon to it {true pokemon not that GO crap} and having to wear it down to a certain point before capping it.

You mean like spraying bullets with tigris prime on it until it reaches certain health threshold and then tranq it with just one dart? Like how we cap pokemon?

And a possible Mod to gain for a kubrow by capturing a Sovereign Kubrodon {in my mind im thinking its like the Zinogre from Monster hunter} is

    <-- Royal Flash -->

Your Kubrow channels the essence of a *Soverign Kubrodon* to emits a powerful blast of Electricity dealing 10% of the enemy's max HP damage with a 100% chance proc on any enemy within 12m.

    Just a thought 😉

To be honest I did imagine this kubrodon as something close to Zinogre at first, but a magnetic one, as I wanted to make it a magnetic kubrodon able to face Orb mothers by causing critical system failure on them. Thing is that a monster that deals the annoying magnetic proc often would become quite annoying in general, so decided to just make it electric, and thats totally a Zinogre.

I do like that mod idea, the only thing i would change would be the name, To Royal Roar or something along the line, and making the pet roar when releasing the shockwave (just for the awesome factor)

Would it be too broken to allow it to interact with the newly released elemental kubrow mods?, so if your kubrow has the fire one equipped, when using that skill, it becomes a radiation wave or something along those lines

Namely, if garuda is to perform admirably against higher level enemies (especially in arbitrations) that is one of many things to consider amongst other activities.

Now that i think about it, does Garuda get to use Dread Mirror against invulnerable enemy units like those affected by arbitration drones? Never used her in there due to how easy can be to instakill her if you are even trying to use her passive at 50%.

Besides that, yes, she should be good in high level enemy missions, as dread mirror adds damage taken into dread heart, thus would equall to quite the shield if using this augment. It will never be equal to Rhino's iron skin regarding how many loops Garuda would have to jump through in order to get that shield, but her potential would be limitless, similar to Gara's splinter storm, but adding the boon of not being dispelled by nully and also being able to use her passive to the max (if she doesn't get toxic procced that is)

  9. hace 2 horas, (XB1)Skullstachio dijo:

Did you take the Arbitration Drones into account due to their “Warframe ability immunity” which can be spread to nearby enemies?

Might be overlooking something, but can't see how Arbitration Drones have anything to do with this Bloodletting augment, as it isn't a offensive skill in its current state, nor can it be dispelled due to it being a shield buff instead of a skin-like skill

There are currently 23 Corrupted mods, meaning you have about 4.348% to get what you want upon opening the vault.
Considering you have 100% chances to get a mod once you found the vault, 4.348% to get what you want is definitely ok compared to mods such as Condition Overload that drop with 0.02% on a specific enemy that is already rare.

Also, this is one of the rare farms in the game that actually reward player for using parkour to go faster.

yep, 23, seems i switched both numbers in the post.

Thing is that those mods can be far too valuable, and far too frustrating to get. with this modification it would be a bit easier for those that still need to get it, and half as frustrating.

I do like your example about Condition Overload, another horrible RNG farmfest, but you are forgetting something, and that is that Condition Overload have an abysmal drop rate, but it is possible to transmute it, but Corrupted mods? Not really, you have to farm them and jump through loop after loop to get the one you wish.

As of now the process is:

    Cita

Farm 10 void vestiges (up to 40 if you want all 4 keys)

    Craft Dragon Key

    Craft Derelict Key

Run Derelict mission hoping to find a door

After all these hoops you can then pray that 4% shines upon you and you don't get another Tainted Shell (personal experience)

With the proposed change we could at least narrow (minded) down the RNG for those that need to get at least one of these useful mods, instead of they just bailing out on it. Its one of the oldest RNG farmfest that remain in this game, and its quite frustrating (looking at you Mesa, but don't you dare think that i have forgotten you Stalker)

With the change i'm proposing, it would be a bit less agravating, while still being somewhat of a farm:

    Cita

    Farm 10 Void Vestiges

    Craft Dragon Key

    Craft Derelict Key

Run Derelict mission hoping to find a door

Depending on wich key group you chose ouf of the old and new ones, you would have 9'1% as lowest chance (Rifle mods, that are 11) or straight up 50% as highest chance (melee mods, that are only 2)

It is great that this farm does reward players for using parkour, but my suggestion would in no way negate that, just make it less nerve wrecking for new players.

  11. This concept would be an upgrade to current Fortuna's animal preservation, as so, it should be possible to begin the legendary hunts after you reach "Old Friend"  with access to kubrodons.

    The Overlords

They are freaks of nature, sometimes mutations due to orokin meddling, or just a abnormally ancient member of said species, that have grown beyond whats usually possible for that race and have developed special skills that makes them extra dangerous, among these skills immunity to cc and rage modes that buff them everytime they get hit by a warframe power like sleep arrow

These monsters roam Fortuna, preying on everything that moves, and sometimes even clashing with the Orb Mothers. It is your mission, not to kill them as they are too rare to just be finished off, but to capture them with tranq darts before Nef can finally get a hold on and use them in order to craft new and deadlier proxies out of the Overlords.

    Earthshatterer Pobber:

Cuteness, big eyes, pointy fangs and keen edged claws able to bury and move inside the earth with ease, whats not to love about this horse-sized, feral Pobber?

Able to take up to 10 Tranq shots, this wild Pobbers moves inside the earth as if it was water, being able to surface anywhere to deal heavy damage to unsuspecting tenno

    Mistraider Virmink:

Able to release a mist composed of some kind of powder from its fluff, this huge predator moves around almost invisible, coming out to deal vicious slashes to its preys. It can take up to 15 traq shots.

    Warmonger Bolarola:

A huge bolarola that ditched part of its bulk and plates to get poisonous spikes instead, it rolls at incredible speeds, trampling everything that can't move aside on time, and leaving a rotten trail due to the poison. It can take up to 20 shots, and shots not landed in the face or belly result in 1/2 effect of normal tranq shots.

    Sovereign Kubrodon

A wicked beast that kills everything that tries to get into its territory, it moves in speed bursts, being also able to create seismic waves to attack or defend, use thunder skills or even deflect projectiles with a howl, it can also summon an special variant of thunder attuned kubrodons that act as its pack. It can take up to 30 shots.

New devices to aid us in the hunt:

Not exactly sure what to say here, probably an empowered Tranq gun, the stunna fishing rod, simmaris scanner and maybe some kind of traps.

What would we get out of this?

    -XXL Floofs for each overlord

-Pet mods to improve your kubrow/kavat/helminth/moa with traits from these overlords

    -Sigils

-Upon completing certain, quite complex achievements related to the Overlord Hunting, a Sekhara

I don't see anything wrong with the current system for obtaining them.

You really think its ok to go over and over to the same mission in order to find a door, and inside that door hope that you can get the mod you need out of 32 mods in total?

For me it was such a chore until i got what i needed with quite a lot of luck, but for some other players, is another whole load of farm that doesn't let them get necessary mods to improve their builds. I know that Farmframe can be quite the chore sometimes, but I see nothing wrong in making the system if only a bit more easy on the new players

  13. Playing with a friend that still lacks the corrupted mods, I was forced to relieve the horrible farm that Corrupteds Mods can be, as so I would like to propose the following change in order to make it less tedious for the newer players (and those of us that still don't own all corrupted mods)

There are currently 4 sets of Corrupted Mods, being these Warframe, Melee, Primary and Secondary, and even though the bug of equipping all 4 keys made it easier to farm for solo players, truth is that is a pain to get the mod you want from a pool of up to 23 mods. So I propose that they separate each set of corrupted mods, and tie them to each Dragon key. Although for this to work, they would probably have to create more dragon keys, with different debuffs, what would also be a bonus for those that enjoy using a dragon key in order to handicap themselves.

    Cita

The result would be that in order to get Corrupted Warframe mods (for example), you would need to carry at least 1 of the following:

Hobbled Dragon key (Related to Warframe mods)

New Dragon key (1) (Related to Warframe mods)

New Dragon key (2) (Related to Warframe mods)

New Dragon key (3) (Related to Warframe mods)

When a player has 1 key related to one of the possible corrupted mods, the vault adds those mods to the possible droptable. Naturally, the same player, or even another one, could decide to bring one key related to another set of Corrupted Mods, but that would be counter intuitive, as it would dilute the drop table by adding more possible Corrupted Sets, and also would need to bring all other 3 of that same set in order to be ready for every kind of keyhole, adding even more crippling debuffs due to the addition of new Dragon Keys

  14. Garuda has her mark in her default helmet, and also marks enemies with hers when she uses seeking talons on them. I do remember other Warframes having marks or signs that represent them, but I can't seem to find them anymore

Do all Warframes have a proper sign that represent them like Garuda? And if they do, where are these located?

  15. hace 18 horas, Almighty_Jado dijo:

While definitely interesting, it feels a little complex for a Warframe augment imho.

Yeah, I might have gone a bit overboard, the whole description might aswell be a new skill at this point, will simplify it

    hace 13 horas, (XB1)Skullstachio dijo:

    definitely.

I had one idea in short though: (Maximum Rank View complete with a rank list.)

    Hemomantic Shell

Bloodletting Augment: Gain Armor equal to 100% of Health Drained for 20 seconds, While the armor holds, 50% of damage taken is redirected to the attacker.

    • Unranked: Gain Armor equal to 100% of Health Drained for 11 seconds, While the armor holds, 35% of damage taken is redirected to the attacker.
    • Rank 1: Gain Armor equal to 100% of Health Drained for 14 seconds, While the armor holds, 40% of damage taken is redirected to the attacker.
    • Rank 2: Gain Armor equal to 100% of Health Drained for 17 seconds, While the armor holds, 45% of damage taken is redirected to the attacker.
    • Max Rank: Gain Armor equal to 100% of Health Drained for 20 seconds, While the armor holds, 50% of damage taken is redirected to the attacker.

The Idea does seems nice, and I did think about something similar before the current version I posted, but found 2 flaws and decided to turn it into something akin to iron skin

    1. the skill loses utility as Garuda loses her health, until the point where her passive is at max, and this skill might as well not exist, as with low health points Garuda would get barelly any bonus, she would have to heal herself to max in order to get that armor and damage redirection, and thus, nullifying her own passive, also, as it happens with shattershield, it would get deleted as soon as Garuda got in contact with anything that nullifies, leaving her low on hp and without any defense to soften the blow (thats why i decided to make it interact with Dread Heart instead of her hp, and make it an addition to the shield, so it isn't counted as a nullifiable buff, similar to how overshields also isn't)

    2. I also felt that a straight armor buff would be way too similar to Valkyr's Warcry, and while both are easily comparable, I didn't want to make an augment that stepped on Valkyr's toes anymore

  16. As much as I enjoy playing Garuda, it seems the whole system is tied to the quick thinking mod, what makes it a mandatory mod for her in order to be able to use her passive, and bloodletting helps you reach the health threshold, but also leaves you in mortal peril.

The Bloodletting augment i'm proposing changes the way the skill works, and its called Clotshield

Bloodletting no longer gives any energy upon use, it only takes out 50% max health off Garuda, but if there is a Dread Heart currently floating about her, Garuda will rip it apart with her claws releasing tides of blood on top of her, and adding the value stored inside to her shield in the form of coagulated blood, forming something called Blood Shield. If the Dread Heart had enough charge to grow spikes, Garuda's model would also show some blood spikes along the blood coating that marks the use of Blood Shield

    Cita

    Blood Shield

This skill makes Garuda loses 50% of her max health, and also adds the value stored inside Dread Heart to her current Shield value. Being a improved shield, this means that it can be further improved by overshields. Also as it is a shield, nullifiers won't be able to nullify it, but a magnetic proc will make it disappear in no time. The skill can be recast as many times as one wishes to lose health, but the Dread Heart won't be consumed again until the current Blood Shield expires, be it by duration or damage taken.

This coagulated shield should add a new defensive mechanic so Garuda isn't left unprotected and ready to die the moment one high level enemy decides to shoot at her by an uncovered side, or while she is jumping to execute Dread Mirror. While also giving the user another option to spend the Dread Heart charge, instead of thinking about shooting a loaded one for something it could have already done just with the equipped weapons.

Thematically speaking, it gives Garuda a nice interaction with the corpus units, while also reinforcing her hemomancer theme

  17. Nature/flora Warframe

    Portalweaver/Gravity master Warframe

    Shadowmancer Warframe

Light Controller Warframe (Mirage uses light and shadows to deceive, but isn't a pure morning star)

Warmachine Warframe, the one you bring when the situation goes out of hand and no sword nor pistol can end the conflict, pure devastation

    Plasma Warframe

Elementalist Warframe (No. not Chroma, I mean a Warframe that can mix and match elements at will to create new skills out of the 4 basic ones, think Invoker from DOTA 2 if you wish)

Mask Maker Warframe, a frame that uses void magic to steal the Souls/faces, crafting masks out of its enemies, a Warframe that dwells in madness and chaos like an eldrich abomination

  18. Ignition Blades are complex weapons from a mechanical viewpoint. In base form they are quite simple and can't do many combos, they are perfect for those that only use simple melee , as they don't do anything fancy that could make the wielder miss the strike (like striking too high to reach short enemies) but still do full damage.

When wielded as main hand weapon though, Ignition Blades are another story. Each Ignition Blade has some requirements to unleash its true nature, although some are simple (pick an energy orb), others could be more complex (kill 2 enemy units in the same circular slash) or even quite specific (reach red crits / Proc ice status on enemy unit), depending on how powerful the hidden buff and skill are.

Once the requirement is done, the weapon opens up, filled with pure energy and reaching its true form. In ignition mode not only do they get wild comboes with many kinds of effects or buffs, but they also adquire one special skill similar to warframe or operator powers (Not sure wich button should activate these, we shall see after melee 3.0). These are weapons made to be used to those that actually want to take time to tame this ignited beast.

Each Ignited Blade will be different from the others, not only by pure stats like most other weapons are, but also by the benefits the ignited mode bring to the wielder by comboing, and the special skill that it can unleash.

It's worth noting that switching to another weapon won't reset the ignition, but dying makes the weapon lose the drive to follow your commands, so once revived, the user has to fulfill the requirement again to win back the power.

  19. Right now with Fortuna recently released, with such a huge world full of easter eggs and interesting locations in general, it is worth asking if it will remain the same as Cetus, an static world where nothing really changes, no matter how many times per night the mighty Eidolons burst from the depths, since Cetus released, only the Infested Star made a difference in the zone, in what was a pretty awesome event for everyone with the meteorite coming closer.

I don't expect Fortuna to reach Fortnite-like levels of change in the map, but there are many things that could change to spice things up as mysterious events.

-"The Pearl"'s being something weird that gets released with the consecuences this brings to the whole place

-Rampaging Orb spiders destroying the field with such inmense power (for example the temple of profit)

-The spider submerged on coolant being finally able to walk around, causing quite the chaos when it starts going

-Sentient invasion and corresponding tampering with Corpus machines (Really doubt that Hunhow can't track that dead Conculyst hidden in the lab), this would also include the Flydolon, that is yet to be located somewhere officially.

-Another infested star, this time making use of the mutalist strain to scale the situation due to the corpus proxies and the organ-like flora

These are just some of the many events that could alter Fortuna or at least some of its locations. I don't really expect any big changes, but I'm interested in knowing if DE wishes to make full use of what Fortuna is, or decides to leave it perfectly still like Cetus is right now, but also I would like to what people would prefer in this regard

this is an interesting concept for a warframe but we already have a warframe based on light, mirage. But I am intrigued to see what you come up with for the abilities.

Belo was created having Mirage in mind. Some older skills were made thinking about synergies with her, as while he is light, she is smoke and mirrors. Unluckily most were scrapped or transformed in some way. Belo is still related somehow to Mirage, but that shall come later

  21. After a lot of time without conection and/or general lack of time, I could get enough to fill the 4 skills + augments the way I envisioned them. I'm open to review in order to balance the skills, or maybe even change them completely if they were deemed uneeded or far too strong to be balanceable.

Will keep the WIP part as I still need to add alternative skills and also a lore piece I have been trying to shape for a while now

  22. I will construct Belo from zero in this post, as the original concept i had written down got lost due to computer problems, so I will set both what I can remember from the original document and some new ideas based on the archetipes selected. I'm open to suggestions about the skills and this concept, hope you all enjoy reading it

    Who is Belo?

Belo is a male warframe made of pure light, or so it would seem, as he is built with a good amount of rare prisma crystals, taken from the Void itself. If its looks weren't enought to get everyone's attention as soon as it enters the place, is the oddly gentlemanly behaviour this Warframe seems to have engraved in his every move makes of him quite the charmer, able to fill the room with his beautiful glow at the same time that it takes away the lifes of many enemies bewitched by the feelings that such light causes on them.

    Drops of Light [Passive]

    Spoiler

Causes hostiles killed by Belo or nearby ally to drop pickup orbs that have different effects based on their color. The drop chance is equal among each color, the only thing for sure is that they will always drop from a dead enemy.

    • Red Orbs refills 25 health

    • Orange Orbs  boost movement speed by 15% for 5 seconds

    • Yellow Orbs  grant 100 affinity

    • Green Orbs boost the amount of credits earned by 50% for 10 seconds

    • Cyan Orbs instantly refills shields

    • Blue Orbs refills 50 energy

    • Purple Orbs adds 35% of max armor value as damage resist for the shields, this effect lasts for 10 seconds

    •

    Lightstream [1st Skill]

    Spoiler

With one short press of the button, Belo changes the color attunement of his prisma crystals, accessing the color pool and giving this skill a different status proc

If the button is kept pressed, Belo channels a Mota Amp like laser of continuous damage. Said laser has a fixed status proc chance, but the way it can affect the enemy's psyche, the status it can proc to be clearer, is affected by the color selected in that moment and the amount of colored light stored in the prisma crystals.

Belo can use Spotlight to fill colored metters, that will deplete while Belo uses Lightstream while attuned to that color, once the color metter of said color is depleted, Lighstream completely loses any status chance for that color until Spotlight recovers more of this color.

CharmFear, Joy(Def reduction+erratic behaviour), Confusion(long knock down), Worry(objective can't get alerted and drop out of alert if procced), Sleep, Rage (Same effect as Equinox's rage), Calmness(any of the other 7), Regretful (no status)

White mode (Radiant Star) can't be activated with a click at first, as it unlocks itself once a certain amount of every colored light has been stored, no matter if it was used before that moment. There is also another color, the black mode (Dying Light), that dramatically boosts the damage of Lightstream, but getting it is a punishment that will be explained in Spotlight, so it should be avoided at all costs.

    Prismatic Ammo [Lighstream Augment]

Lightstream changes its fire mode depending on wich color it is attuned to

    Spotlight [2nd Skill]

    Spoiler

Upon unlocking Spotlight, Belo also unlocks a light metter, a small device able to measure the light in the environment, that is represented in the interface as a series of numbers situated slightly over the ammo counter. These numbers indicate how much of every colored light is there in the room Belo is located on.

Upon activating Spotlight, light will start focusing around Belo, who then will begin draining energy while it takes in the colored light needed for Lightstream and also buffs itself with a 50% damage reduction at max level, said buff it's availiable only while Spotlight remains activated

There are certain rooms where there isn't a clear light intake limit, for example, those that are outside, as The Sun keeps replenishing all kinds of light. Light producing weapons, or Warframe skills can also boost the light level of a room, helping Belo not to deplete it fully by using Spotlight.

As the light in the room gets absorbed, the place turns darker, but its at 0 light, when the lanterns have to be activated in order to be able to see around, when "Dying Light" activates the next time that Belo changes form by using Lightstream.

    Dying Light

"You strive to be a blazing star, and in your greedy display, you ought to leave everyone in the dark so they can marvel at your light. You won't be allowed to do as your please"

Dying Light is a punishment for the overuse of Spotlight, also called Black Light mode. In Dying Light mode Belo achieves a dramatic damage buffs, but also has to deal with a massive damage vulnerability, becoming extremelly easy to down while also dealing massive damage. Dying Light is considered a Bleedout state variety, so after 20 seconds (or more using the Undying Will mod), Belo will die and must use a revive to get up again.

    Nurturing Light [Spotlight Augment]

Belo loses the 50% damage resist of normal Spotlight, but gains a 30% movement speed, while also being able to create an aura around him that boosts ally units that bathe in his light as he uses Spotlight. The buffs he can grant depend on wich color the light is, and the aura is affected by power strenght, radius and duration

    Speed of Light [3rd Skill]

    Spoiler

One second after activating Speed of Light, Belo banishes, leaving behind only sparks and teleporting to the location the reticle was pointing at. Upong landing Belo releases a short ranged wave of prisma crystals that burst around him, dealing puncture and slash damage to any enemy caught in it, while also launching them backwards, dealing impact damage if they were to hit any wall, obstacle or enemy unit in their way.

Photonic Shuffle [Speed of Light Augment]

Energy cost and range gets reduced in half, Speed of Light loses both the prisma crystal burst and the casting time, becoming a versatile movement tool similar to Ash's teleport.

    Prismaker [4th Skill]

    Spoiler

Belo uses the many prisma crystals that cover his body to create a immaculate prism of pure light. This prism acts like a Eidolon Lure in the sense that can be told to follow or stay in one place, and will irradiate great amounts colored light, whose color will be decided depending on Belo's color mode when casting Prismaker (this also includes Black Light). The irradiated light boosts elemental damage depending on the color of the light, while White Light gives a boost to every element and Black Light gives an all around damage boost.

by selectin an objective and using Prismaker while this one is already out, Belo can order the Prism to envelop said objective, reflecting back any damage done to the prism. Ally units can also get close to the prism and get inside, being protected until they decide to get out or the prism expires

    Solid Light [Prismaker Augment]

Belo is able to materialize more than 1 prism at the same time, and these can be situated anywhere within Belo's range, be it in ground or air, but can't be moved, with this power they can be used as barriers or platforms. The prisms can't hold anything inside anymore, they just multiply and redirect any proyectile they get hit with through each side of the prism

    Alternative Skills:

    Prisma Slide

Belo releases a burst of prisma crystals that begins at Belo's feet and keep sweeping until several meters away, causing puncture and slash proc to enemies caught in the burst. the Burst keeps covering the floor in prisma crystals, extremely slippery and reflectant. When an enemy or ally steps on this way, will slide keeping the same speed it had before stepping on it until it collides with something or the path ends. Enemy units suffer a knockdown upon finishing the slide.

    Prisma Forge

Upon reviving a teammate, Belo crafts a copy of the primary weapon it is carrying ìn prisma crystals and hand it over to the revived Warframe. This weapon is a direct copy of the other primary and will act as a ak weapon until the duration expires, when said weapon will vanish.

    Color Soak

With a flick of fingers, the weapon of the ally Belo is aiming at gets imbued with the light color of the color mode corresponding to Belo's energy color (explained in Lighstream), also the weapon gets augmented status chance and duration

    Lightform

Belo turns his own body into pure light, being able to move around with reduced gravity, going through enemy units like a ghost and blinding everyone around it

    Chrysalis

Belo wraps himself into threads of pure light, creating a cocoon that will protect him from external damage, while also accumulating dealt damage, once X time has passed, Belo breaks free from the cocoon, blinding every enemy unit around it, and with an all around buff based on how much damage was taken during the cocoon state.

    Light Golem

Belo holds the head (or the closest they have to a head) of an enemy and both remain stationary while Belo fills said enemy with colored light. When the process has ended, said enemy will have colored light coming out of eyes/mouth/??? and will fight for Belo until the effect expires or said unit die. That light color, defined by Belo's color mode will also define what kind of Golem is made out of the enemy when this one dies.

Colored Golems are quite distinctive beings made of pure prisma crystals and colored light, each with a different way of role (dps, bruiser, tank, bombardier, assassin and so) and elemental attunement depending of the color it is made of.

Upon contact with Atlas' Rumblers, the Rumblers become Prisma Rumblers and their duration is refreshed

    Cosmetic

    Bog Syndana

A smooth looking syndana composed of fine fabric. The whole syndana is composed of 7 thick strands covered on prisma crystals at the point on the bottom of the syndana, with the other end of the strands converging in a ornamentend triangle that match with the neck part. The prisma cover is inscribed with ancient Oroking writing that illuminates.

When Belo wears this syndana, the crystals at the base illuminate to show each color, and the inscriptions along the strands gradually illuminate according to how much colored light he has; when the segment of the triangle at the top illuminates for one color, it means that Belo is already full of that colored light. On white or black mode, every strand and scripture will shine in the same color, white or black.

In any other warframe, the Syndana acts the same way, but the only color displayed is the energy color of said Warframe, and how much it shines is tied to how full the energy metter is

  23. There is no pity to be had for husks of a malevolent creature that wants to destroy all no-sentient life. What we do, downing them over and over is the best we can do, although it's possible that if we managed to definitelly kill the mind, the one that possessed Revenant, we could end these wandering corpses for good

I hope in the future some hero makes a Tennogen K-drive skin with said model being replaced by a completely stiff Volt model so we can do some sick flips on top of a Volt
