  1. If they ever went forward with an Invasion mechanic, Stalker mode would be enough, but as we have already seen, people aren't really eager for an invasion mechanic on other playes.

Besides, I fail to see why Tenno would attack eachother with Kuva liches to obtain Kuva, when we are part of the same faction and the best way to obtain Kuva would be taking it away from Grineer

This is what I mean. You’re not listening. You’re taking what I said and twisting it around.

theres a difference between past lore (Altra) and current events (Saturn Six). Take a guess as to which one I was telling you to use your imagination for. Scratch that I don’t trust your decision making to be good enough to do that. I was talking about Saturn Six.

I'm stating what I would like you to explain to me bluntly.

Until now you've given this points: (bit resumed not to bloat the answer)

    1. Nightwave can be rewatched in its designated section
    2. This is Warframe and they never just flat out say the lore to you. Season 2 ending was disappointing but that's no motive to change what the leverian is for.
    3. Leverian was made so DE no longer had to make FRAME quests specifically.
    4. There is a difference between past lore and current events

Making it simpler, maybe i've failed to explain myself properly

What of these points state an actual reason for not adding a section about Nightwave in another wing of the Leverian?

    1. Nightwave can be rewatched, and still not give additional info that the writers could easy pour into this section of Leverian, doesn't seem that this contradicts what I'm suggesting it any way
    2. Warframe DOES state the lore bluntly, usually by quests and sometimes by comics or ingame writing, still can't see this as a reason not to add that section to Leverian, a history museum. Also... in wich way does adding Nightwave dioramas change what Leverian is for? adding a side wing to a museum doesn't erase the main building, if only helps the Museum grow bigger and attract the attention of even more visitors that might be interested in that.
    3. This third one, about the original objective of the Leverian is an actual reason, I mean, doesn't explain why it shouldn't be made, but does add grounds for DE not to take that approach, still, wouldn't be the first time DE adds something to a mechanic, boss or mission to give it another purpose on top of what it already had (Warframe parts and mod relocation often, but also things like Codex having as section for secrets, or even Nakak's mutiple shops)
    4. There is a difference between past lore and current events, and it's that right now only Nightwave part 2 is current lore, while NW1 is already past and soon NW2 will be.  Remembering those stories, getting more data on them that we might've overlooked is also valuable, even if it might not seem like that to you right now, even if they are pretty recent, and there is Nora telling us roughtly what happened, having somewhere we could know everything about this past event is important on its own right. Warframe story is already foggy enough with how past quest's lore was handled and the lack of repeating event quests.

Your opinion seems to be that Nightwave shouldn't be added to the Leverian Museum because they aren't part of the main intent when developing that space, because they are vaguely told in Nightwave and are fairly recent. Mine is that a Museum needs to grow, and that adding this would in no way harm the Leverian, only make it greater and bring more people that might not be interested in the newest Warframes but might be eager to know more about how the whole system and factions reacted to what happened in each Nightwave, bringing a bit more of life to an otherwise ever-still universe of Warframe, that is also Nightwave's intention to begin with

ooooh why am I even bothering replying. It not like you’re actually listening.

the Codex and Captura have the enemy and derelict dioramas that you want.

Leverian was made so DE no longer had to make FRAME quests specifically. Just because the wiki has some flavor text doesn’t immediately  mean that DE should use the levarian to tell everything about everything like a 7th grade history class.

Also, why does DE have to tell you want happened? Use your imagination.

I am reading you, yet i've yet to see you tell me why it would be a bad idea, or in any way detrimental to expand the Leverian instead of leaving it as dead content until a new warframe is released. Just because you make something with one objective in mind, doesn't mean it can't be expanded in any way beyond that point, even more when we are talking Warframe's Universe. Also Leverian is a Museum, if there should be a place where these kind of stories are told in detail, is in there, not in the codex or from Nora herself

Codex also has Warframe and Weapon dioramas

Why does DE have to tell you what happened? Because the whole Nightwave is about telling a story maybe?

Why does DE have to tell you what happened in Altra? Use your imagination

You’re forgetting that this is Warframe and they never just flat out say the lore to you. It’s either through lines of metaphor and similes, or picks a weird scenario to explain the lore from that only gives us a very small sliver of information that only makes sense after you figure out the context through something else.

There’s already the Codex entries for the enemies.

and there are Captura scenes of the derelict

Yes the ending of season 2 was kind of disappointing but that’s no excuse to completely changing what The leverian is for.

But wasn't the leverian and warframe quests exactly for that? Telling you the lore, flat out.

Codex is info on technical data about each unit, has nothing to do with lore

"The Leverian is a museum of artifacts curated by the enigmatic Drusus Leverian. These galleries serve to shed light on WARFRAME's lore, typically centered around an individual Warframe along with associated weapons and items of interest."

    -Taken from Warframe Wiki

Right now the leverian depicts just 1 warframe, but nothing really defines that it must stay forever based solelly around Warframes, and having another subsection added to Nightwave wouln't hinder or hurt the development of the Warframe section of the Leverian in any way, if only it would give more use to the Leverian beyond a new diorama every time a Warframe is released (and hopefully some data on those warframes that have nothing at all)

  5. hace 1 hora, Hyro1 dijo:

Pretty sure Leverian is only for the frames

Yeah, that's why i'm proposing that it get extended to nightwave too

    hace 49 minutos, (XB1)GearsMatrix301 dijo:

We can already rewatch the episodes in the night wave screen.

But we can't see more in depth data about the wolf pack, about what they did to them or the Wolf in order to turn that way, dioramas of every of Wolf's phases and how they differ about each other, or even the weapons they use.

Also we can't see Arlos's true form, know what happened with him or Kenga after NW2 end, know how this new strain works to create those infested exo suits. Also seeing dioramas of different mutations or even a big diorama of an infested derelict would be great

  6. The Leverian seems to tell about things that left a mark in the past, currently is only related to Warframes (Gauss), but Nightwave stories also marked the System, with the Wolf and his wolfpack on a killing spree and becoming the first affected by the Amalgam technology, or with Arlo infesting what at first were just innocent devotees and threatening to infest the whole System with Derrelicts

I think it would be great to have a place where there are dioramas related to these and every new nightwave, maybe with bits of lore or info that we couldn't get from Nora, a story told from the point of view of Drusus, that saw things that neither Nora or us could

  7. I feel that it was wasted. So many more things could've been done, like having Helminth comment on the strain some warframe got while revived by devotees, our warframes hearing voices, any comment about how similar can zealots be considered when compared to warframes.

Also, I still don't know what happened with Arlo, just that he seems to be back at it, we never got to face it. I do like to think that Kenga is the Zealot we face as a boss, but there is no confirmation, and the ending feel flat, although it had so much potential

  8. I think that having the Man in the Wall talking directly to us, the players, sometimes in our Orbiters or during missions wouldn't hurt. It wouldn't bring much more to the table due to those comments having nothing to do with lore, but would add a lot to his/her "Unknown God of the Void" aspect by making it look almost allknowing, deciding not to mess with the real world just by pure whim

it was indeed a Paracyst you got confused with as the primary gendel was using

Yes, i got confused, not sure if because of regular quality or due to my own wishes of Paracesis being a Two-Handed nikana, but that happened indeed.

Fingers crossed so DE actually consider this

  10. hace 4 minutos, NovusNova dijo:

When were they using the Paracesis?

According to the arsenal screen during the devstream, Rebecca had the Tatsu on.

Yep, just saw the devstream in higher quality, it was Tatsu indeed, I think I got confused by Paracyst or something

Said nothing then, my mistake, I consider the topic done, sorry

  11. During the devstream we could witness Grendel using a Paracesis with the Maligna skin. If this means that they will let us use Maligna with Heavy Blades too, or instead that they will let us use Paracesis as a Two-Handed Nikana, remains to be seen.

I couldn't recognize if Paracesis was being used as heavy sword or Nikana during the devstream, did anyone get to see wich one was it?

Avoid using %max enemy health , the enemy health scaling is so crazy this might as well say , fully heals gamesh.

Yeah, that was more or less the idea, is a pitifull heal at first, but as the enemy scales, your heal alongside you also does.

My intention is having Ganesh being total opposite to Baruuk, that it's all about defense and CC, like a rash student, Ganesh focus on full offense, and because he has no damage reductions, he is in a similar position to Garuda, late game if he gets caught he is done. Don't know if a Warframe with such moveset as Ganesh can put up a fight late game if not having max hp scalings in at least one skill...

I'm not sure if the heal should be a later upgrade for balance sake, but the idea is that apart from base stats, Ganesh has nothing more than this skill, stats and later on the Dragon Body to resist being blown up while caught in the enemy tide. The Dragon Body requires a huge amount of enemy kills, so maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to "buffer" the heal, so it lifesteals a certain amount, and the one that isn't used due to his health being topped is kept, refilling his HP as soon as he loses at least 1 hp, it might be broken, but it could have some interesting synergies with healer frames

    Cita

Probably more fitting to give it base damage and allow it scale of melee mods .

You also could use less ascension stages maybe just 2 for skill.  The list of bonus effects can be overwelming.

Yes, maybe having Landslide-like scalings might be better for the skill, requires more though that just dropping a high damage hit with almost no power strenght and also leveling weapons, while being more able to deal with small enemies without having to care too much about the Max Hp leaving small fries alive.

Yes, the ascension stages seem a bit cluttered, but leaving up to 3 empty felt wrong, and not giving some more interactions with the Dragon also felt wrong. Do you think it is a good idea to just give some small stat boosts in those "empty stages" and fusing the effects onto one stage?

  13. Gamesh is a Fighter Warframe, having similar roots to Baruuk, but instead of being a pacifist master, is a learning student that becomes stronger by fighting, using the concept of chakras to reach enlightment

Gamesh is supposed to be like Nidus, weak early on, but if enough time and effort is invested, like when learning any discipline, it becomes able to unleash his true potential.

    Spoiler

    8 steps to ascension

As Gamesh fights the oncoming wave of enemies, both his spirit and body grows stronger, earning a new resource called Battle Spirit.

Battle Spirit has a limit of 100 units (2 per enemy kill), and its only expendable by using Ascension. After reaching the top, Battle Spirit becomes uncapped. Some skills will evolve as Gamesh rises up the ranks.

    Ranks

    Blood Lotus

    Sunset Lotus

    Sunrise Lotus

    Nature Lotus

    Sky Lotus

    Depth Lotus

    Royal Lotus

Clear(White)/Stain(Black) Twin Lotus (depending on alignment)

    1st skill

    Spoiler

    Pierce and Throw

    Blood Lotus

    Nature Lotus

Gamesh dashes towards a marked enemy and impales him with his fist up in the air, being able to move and parkour while carrying it. Pressing the key again will cause Gamesh to throw the enemy with devastating force towards where the cursor is, dealing a low damage but high range Blast Proc in the area.

Clear/Stain Twin Lotus Upgrade: killing an enemy by throwing it makes Gamesh recovers 25% of that enemy's max HP

    2nd skill

    Spoiler

    Lightning and Thunder

    Sunset Lotus

    Sky Lotus

Gamesh set a knee on the ground and punches it, sending a wave around him that marks every enemy that is gonna be hit during this skill, this mark also allows everyone to see the outline of marked enemies through obstacles.

Upon releasing the button, Gamesh vanishes and all marked enemies suffer damage at the same time, regardless of vision or range since the marking. Enemies that were hit by this skill have their armor/shield reduced by 50% for 10 seconds

Clear/Stain Twin Lotus Upgrade: The Pure Dragon echoes Lightning around itself when Gamesh casts it.

    3rd skill

    Spoiler

    Skull Splitter

    Sunrise Lotus

    Depth Lotus

Gamesh selects an enemy and jumps toward it, delivering a cruel Guillotine Leg Drop with his heel onto the head of said enemy. This brutal strike deals X Base damage x Power Strenght x Melee Stats. Skull Splitter also releases a shockwave from the objective enemy, this wave echoes 75% of the damage that the main unit suffered to every enemy unit inside the AOE, and also knocks down the target unit while lifting up the rest of units affected by the AOE for 3 seconds

Clear/Stain Twin Lotus Upgrade: The Pure Dragon enters into a frenzy for 10 seconds after Skull Splitter, getting attack speed, extra damage and blast radius on normal breath attacks

    4th skill

    Spoiler

    Ascension

    Royal Lotus

Gamesh releases a blast of energy based on the stored Battle Spirit that deals no damage, sending enemies tumbling away, if Gamesh has achieved 100 Units of Battle Spirit, he will ascend to the next level, earning an aura (Think SSJ Goku) color-related to the current lvl. First, Second and Third skills can be used in tandem to improve the flow of skills

Each Ascension level adds 5% to all of Gamesh stats

Upon Ascending from Purple to White/Black Lotus, Ascension will summon an ethereal, translucent Lung-Dragon, colored White, Black or both depending on alignment, that will add both protection with it's long body and damage with breath blasts

    Changelist:

    Keikogi

    Skull Splitter goes from Max%hp +strenght to Base+weapon stats+strenght

  14. Most of your designs looks quite cool (depending on colors the Ivara-Slug might be Amazing or Nova Asuri) (yes, Nova Asuri is considered a negative number when used to gauge how much default colors can help or mess up a good skin).

Specially loving the ElswordXWarframe skins, they look great and do remind me a lot to the Elsword characters, not to sure about the Warframes they represent though. At first I though it was NishaxEquinox and AddXMesa to be honest

The infested probably have no interest in sentients as it is, they can't infect them as they are resistant to infestation anyway so the infested would either fear them or not even be involved

Well, the sentients were inmune to the ancient Strain, but we do have some more by now, including one specially made to infest machines

I think that Nightwave 2 and Arno will be the defining factors about if the infestation will join the war against the sentients or not

  16. Well... the idea isn't that farfetched considering that there are things like Invoker, so a frame based in something similar could work, but would need defining, both in what elements it can use, because while avatar has Fire,Water, Air and Earth, in Warframe 3 of those aren't considered elements and would have to be alloted to physical damages, leaving lackluster combined skills. Also it would be troublesome to balance since it could potentially be really weak in experienced hands, but a monster in the hands of someone able to properly weave all its skills in the correct order

no, relics are better. Trust me.

Not talking about the Void Keys as items to get loot, but as orokin devices attuned to Void Energy that can be used to open portals to anywhere or outright used as weapons.

I was there during the Endurance runs with Void Keys, never enjoyed it, and don't want it back

  18. Just a lore question about Void Keys

Why aren't we using Void Keys in any way right now? When they stopped being used for the loot, Void Keys kinda disappeared excepting the Dragon and Sabotage ones. Right now we have so many Orokin towers with portals that could be used to travel from the Void to some other interesting places, for example, inside the Unum or under the Orb Vallis, yet we don't use nor look for them, it seems like it's mainly because they mess up the Void Energy used by the Tenno, but there is probably lots of things to discover about how to properly use them, all in the hand of Vor, that is forever bound to the Void and using a pretty dangerous Janus key as a weapon.

I for one vote for all of us to go beat Vor in the Void and reclaim the Janus key from his ever-talkative corpse, he has had it coming for a while now

I gladly did it the first 15 times. Will play some more later with my girlfriend, even. For fun.

But for now I'm just soloing it with 0 kills and afk while browsing my smartphone. It's mind-numbing and repetitive after a while.

While I do like the event and all it's goofyness, I'll just say this is how DE shoots themselves in the foot with stuff they create. They need to add grind, and this event will re-run. But they know their community and how impatient it is. So by the second time this event runs most people will already be sick of it due to all the grind this time. Like it tends to happen in most modes.

My way of countering this and enjoy it in future re-runs is precisely to not overburden myself this time. By afk'ing. And solo, like most who want this approach should do. Better than spoiling the fun for the teams that are actually playing it.

Most people burn themselves on the first go, and can't enjoy the event the second run, but that's quite normal if the event remains the same from the beginning (Hallowed nightmares, Ghouls, Infested Star), Good thing this event has some growth potential by adding new weapons (water pump grenade, pool noodle melee) or even enemy units (Pump Thumper, Hose Scorch, Beach Kavats and so). Question remains if DE will anticipate how many people won't bother getting things if they already got everything this year and burned themselves while doing it.

Unless there are also incoming anime faces for tenno, opening warframe helmets to see such faces (with cool open/close animations), and cat ears (tails, whiskers)

I can't decide what would be more Nightmare-inducing, opening Excal's helmet to see an infested corpse face or an anime face with huge eyes

    Cita

    jiggle physics.

Tempting, but we all know that nothing good could ever come from that in Warframe

    Cita

And using the 1-4 power buttons in Operator mode (currently unusued) to command the Warframe as a Jojo Stand.

Maybe... would the frame be able to... pose menacingly?

    Cita

    And Fire Emblem Heroes-style swimsuits.

No, neither for Warframes nor for Tenno children, big no for Grineer, Corpus or Sentients

  21. Would enjoy using some weapons like:

Tower Shield with heavy shield-bashing and potential to dash, knocking everything away Rhino style, while also acting as a perfect wall against dashing enemies themselves (Extra points if a Tower Shield can be used with a Gauss partner to make use of the blast procs).

Gauntlets as a heavy version of fists, dealing devastating but slow punches with a wave similar to Baruuk's Serene Storm. Thundering blows and maybe even allowing you to lift an enemy by the neck and use it as a meat shield.

Cards as a medium range, light weapon inspired by Tarock Thrown Blade Skin. Composed of multiple energy sheets that float around your warframe and follow slight movements as commands, causing multiple fast cuts per swipe in anyone caught in their path. Think Irelia from LoL

Ignition Blades as cumbersome weapons that upon achieving some goal become swift and wild weapons, hard to control but extremelly strong is the user knows how to use them
