  1. You just gave me the idea. How about this, if you're not in extraction point by the timer of 1 minute count down, you don't get reward. That would "force" a afk player to not afk and make them run all way across the map only if they want a reard.

And yeah I have a app for warframe alert. And no I don't use twitter. I don't even like those twitter, Facebook and other whatever there is. I rather to social outside instead of sitting behind monitor and social though internet. But for video gaming to get reward and what not from them, I understand about that but I don't really follow them. That's just me.

I don't mind that, as long as the game actually spawns you nearby if it decides to dump us in at the last moment. (I'd prefer that the game doesn't matchmake with games that are almost complete as well.)

I just use the twitter alert page to get alerts as they come out. Nothing social on that page. It's just a list of alerts. https://twitter.com/WarframeAlerts

  2. I completely forgot all about putting a player in ignore list. But good to know that this game doesn't put you in same mission with a player that you put in ignore list. One game I forgot but I used to play long time ago had that ignore list that it won't put you in with them when you're in group.

Well I thought of one thing. But I'm not sure but AFK player don't receive any reward from alert if AFK had done nothing. Like you see stats end of the mission. If it end up all 0% in that player stats and receive no rewards.

Actually, the game will still put you in a squad with someone who is on your ignore list. I ignored someone at one point and later in the day I was in a squad with them again. It just makes it so if they say something you cannot see it, as far as I can tell.

Also, on the flip side, I've been placed in many alerts when all the enemies have been killed or there are only one or two more that get killed before it even finishes loading on exterminate missions. Sort of lame to not get to do anything, and getting no reward and having the game eat up your ability to re-run the mission is lame too for something I have no control over. Sometimes though I get the reward because I can at least run to the extraction point, unless the game spawns me at the beginning or somewhere super far away.

Oh, and why is there even this forums section? The Twitter and RSS feeds are a much better and more complete method of getting alerts. There are even apps you can run that will notify you as soon as they come up. :P

  3. Haha, I think DE is aware that they can't please everyone. Any of these games, especially games that have forums set up for feedback, etc. are always going to be filled with people complaining about something. The best is when those people rage super hard. I mean, if I were DE, I wouldn't take too much offense at it. It just means there are people who place way too much importance on the game and probably will stick around regardless to whine and rage the next time too. :)

  4. Just an update, I don't know what the problem is, as the program doesn't reliably grab all alerts, however, it has started updating for some at least. The last batch mainly came from an infestation operation on Earth and Eris, which did include a credit alert.

It still hasn't pulled any normal alerts, however.

  5. I'd probably have to say Amprex. Good CC, but more than that, it's zappy! Gotta love zappy, especially zapping lots of enemies at once. It's like mass electroshock therapy. :) Oh yeah, and it amuses me to no end when I shoot an enemy and the secondary arcs bust the reinforced glass. Dunno why, just cracks me up.

  6. Just as the title says. Sometimes when the game opens the Inbox to interrupt whatever I'm doing to tell me I have battle pay, the Inbox is uncloseable. Clicking the Close button does nothing. It will highlight when I hover over it. I've also tried clicking near the button around the edges just to make sure it wasn't some sort of weird alignment issue, but that also doesn't work.

Mostly an annoyance, since on most screens I can work around the issue by clicking an icon that will interrupt and dismiss the Inbox, such as the Arsenal/Marketplace/etc. icon.

  7. I'm pretty sure it does pick up credit rewards, at least alerts.

I had the program running all yesterday. It didn't pick up a single credit alert/invasion/operation, even after reducing the number to "1." Additionally, it hasn't shown quite a number of alerts that popped up on the Twitter page.

Currently, the only thing it's displaying is the Pallas invasion alert for fieldron vs orokin cell.

  8. They should make random messes as part of the dojo decorations!

Spilled laundry, folded up newspapers, upset crates, random weapons...

Exactly! Maybe some cobwebs for ceiling decorations. :)

nano spores, dirty dishes etc etc.

I would like to see the people we rescued to be in there doing stuff like searching for things on terminals etc etc

Yeah, it'd be interesting almost as a chronicle of what we've done. At least perhaps in regards to the more important missions/events.

Or graffiti we can upload and paste onto the walls of the dojos. ;)

  9. so kinda like the Tower from Destiny but customizable? I like it.

Having never seen Destiny, I had to youtube a glimpse of that sucker, but yeah! Something like that. Something that basically makes the place seem like a living breathing entity... More alive. Everything's too sterile and perfect in the dojo. We need a more lived in look. Maybe I can take a pile of laundry and strew it across the corner of the great hall or something. ;)

That looks cool. Might have to check that one out.

  10. Okay, so I avoid my dojo as much as possible because it's just this huge sprawling empty space with some decorations and labs, etc. It's actually sort of depressing to wander around/hang out there.

Maybe it'd be nice if near our spawn point we could build something like an access terminal which can bring up all the menus for purchasing research/starting research/trading/etc. The menus you could access via this terminal would be dependent on whether or not your dojo has the actual item (i.e. trading post/treasury)/room (i.e. research lab/obstacle course) built already.

On the flip-side, might be neat to have the ability to fill the places somewhat with some NPCs, kubrows, etc. that wander around and interact with each other, etc. If our player ships dock there after missions (each ship could have a dedicated docking port on some hallway) and during downtime, we could use those as personal quarters and decorate them with some stuff, etc. Oh yeah, and what about perhaps some musicians or a jukebox or something that can give liven the place up a little more. :)

  11. Yeah, I think if they don't want to join someone else's clan, they should just make their own. Though I wouldn't mind personal research on a ship. They could make it a convenience fee based thing perhaps. Double or so the build and research cost of a ghost clan plus a platinum convenience fee. That way it doesn't obsolete clan dojos much.

  12. Instead of having the target's name over the health bar be "Kubrow" they could have the host select stuff randomly so it'd display things like "Fluffy," "Sparky," "Spot," etc. with a random spattering of popular dog names from around the world. ;)

  13. I've had that happen a lot of times. It's frustrating. Or when I'm about to enter the pipe my character spazzes a bit, the game eventually gives up and makes me do a backflip back on to the ground.

I tried wall climbing over a grated (unopenable grate) once and the game tried to make me enter the vent pipe and I glitched through the grating and was stuck inside a sealed area with no way to get out. Haha. Ended up sitting there for the rest of the mission.

  14. I went ahead and adjusted the minimum quantity to "1" for the credit alerts to test it, and it doesn't seem to be picking up the current alerts for credits. Here's what's currently available according to Twitter feed.

    Sycorax (Uranus): Destroy Comm Station - 55m - 5700cr

    Kala-azar (Eris): Enemy Turncoat Located - 63m - 6700cr

Actually, I'm not certain it's picking up any alerts yet. Will update once one comes along.

  15. Shoddy bridge construction should not knock you through the ground to fall into a grey void and die. This occurs when I was running E-Prime and was underneath the section of bridge that falls to the ground. If it kills you, fine, seems like a piece of bridge falling on someone should kill them. But glitching through the ground seems a bit damaging to the game's immersion. :) One other person was underneath the breakaway bridge section and he/she didn't get knocked into a grey void, he/she was floating above some mountains and trees and could run around with the empty map below.

  16. Okay, new development! I think Helios got brain-damaged from dying too many times. :( I wished it'd stop scanning storage containers over and over, and it has! But it's also stopped scanning almost everything else too. Standing next to threshcones for a long time; Helios: zzzz. Standing near unscanned or uncompleted enemies; Helios: zzzz.

Random times; Helios: zzz*snortSNORT* Did you say something? *scan* I'm gonna go back to sleep for the rest of the mission. zzzz... ;)
