  1. My laptop is not great at running Warframe, and laptops aren't ideal for running any game, especially if it's over 4 years old.  I've found a way to make it work, though.  Having my graphics at their lowest settings and having the resolution at 1366x789 (I don't remember specific numbers) helps it run smoothly enough for me.

I tried playing today after turning the high quality shader option off and turning the bloom intensity all the way down (in addition to having bloom turned off), but the lighting still seems too bright, and I'm getting really choppy audio and video inside and outside missions.

I'm hoping this is an issue that'll be fixed in a hotfix soon and not the end of my ability to play Warframe without a good desktop.

So I played today and everything was fine, but I just played the alert giving out an Orokin Reactor BP, and I was getting choppy audio and incredibly low framerate.  I was Excalibur, and the other three players were a Mesa, an Equinox, and an Inaros.  My framerate went up in between waves, but the choppy audio and low framerate continued even after the mission ended and I left the squad.  If I stood still, my framerate was fine, but moving even a little bit made it plummet, and I've done the "verify integrity of game cache" through Steam before, but I'd like to avoid it if possible since for me it takes 2 hours.  I think the issue is the same and I'm going to have to eventually build a desktop, but I'm hoping that there's something else that can be done.

  2. Just a note, like the idea of Excalibur summoning exalted blade, or valkyr with hysteria, what if we had a warframe whose powers simply summoned weapons?

    I like this.

Though I do like the idea, there are a few flaws like the terrain thing.

As NightSniper said it doesn't really fit, at least with the Dragon frame it can be considered "Oriental" I guess...?

Anyways, The first thing that came to my mind with his 1 and 2 were Rhino's Charge and Volt's Shield.

If it was to be a thing I like the idea of the walls gaining health with connection, though overall it seems much easier to claim a Volt for his readily spammable shields instead of having to collect resources.

Generally without the ability to actually manipulate the ground would render the overall theme of the frame useless unless you changed the format to be a... Tenno-gen constructor if you will. Having more to do with weapons and abilities on how say relays and the liset was built rather than rudimentary building blocks.

If rebuilt like that, I wouldn't mind seeing like and orbital strike or something from a drone the "Constructor" has made.

But all-in-all it's just my two cents.

And I appreciate this constructive criticism.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

The question is, what kind of gimmick could he have other than summoning weapons, and how could we make his summoned weapons stand out enough from the already unique weapons?  I think with a little creativity we could easily convert this to a weaponsmaster with some of the construciton stuff worked in.  If only I could edit the title...(for a new name and theme)

I think it'd be cool to have his 1 ability change how his weapon works in a noticable but not over-the-top way.  For example, shotguns fire a giant bullet that splits into smaller and smaller bullets as it hits more enemies.

  3. While unique, this really doesn't fit the theme of warframe at all. Also, terrian destruction is a "no can do" scenario, engine doesnt support it

I don't see how Dragons really fit the theme of Warframe either, but whatever.  Too bad about the engine.  I knew it'd be a lot of work if it were even to be considered.  I'd love to be able to find a way to rework it to make it fit.  Let's see what the rest of the community has to say (if anybody actually reads this).

    Overall Gimmick: Environment Manipulation

    Stats (Unranked | Rank 30):

         Health: 200 | 500

         Shields: 100 | 250

         Power: 100 | 175

         Armor: 200 | 400

Sprint Speed: Uhhh...same as the slowest frame (Frost, I think?)

    Abilities:

    1) Piston Punch

Hardhead punches target enemy with his bulky piston-enhanced arms, sending them flying <X0, X1, X2, X3> meters in a straight line, ragdolling them, and dealing <Y0, Y1, Y2, Y3> Impact damage.  If the enemy hits a wall, they are instead stunned for <Z0, Z1, Z2, Z3> seconds and take an additional 50% Impact damage.  If the enemy hits another enemy, both are staggered and take an additional 25% Impact damage.  If the enemy hits a wall generated by Mix & Pour, the wall is destroyed regardless of its remaining health, and the enemy takes an additional 75% Impact damage and is staggered.

Power Strength affects the distance the enemy is sent flying and the Impact damage done

Power Range affects the distance away an enemy must be to be targeted by this ability (basically, EXTENDO ARMS!)

    2) Excavate

Hardhead teleports in his drill-excavator attachment and creates a hole/crater <X0, X1, X2, X3> meters in diameter and <Y0, Y1, Y2, Y3> meters in depth.  A hole is created if the depth the ability can dig is greater than the depth of the target area, otherwise a crater is created.  When the hole/crater is dug, there is a <%0, %1, %2, %3> chance to dig up ammo, credits, or resources.  Allies and enemies can move and shoot through the hole/crater, which remains active for <Z0, Z1, Z2, Z3> seconds.  The dug-up material stays in the excavator head for <Z0, Z1, Z2, Z3> seconds.  This ability can be reactivated to dump the dug-up material can be dumped on enemies, knocking them down for <A0, A1, A2, A3> seconds and inflicting <B0, B1, B2, B3> Impact damage, and the hole still remains for its active time.  10 stacks are generated on this ability whenever a hole/crater is dug for the same duration that the material remains in the excavator head, and if this ability is reactivated while Mix & Pour is active, the stacks are transferred to Mix & Pour, otherwise the stacks are lost.

Power Strength affects hole/crater depth, Impact damage done, and number of stacks generated

Power Range affects hole/crater diameter and distance from which a hole/crater can be dug

Power Duration affects how long the material remains in the excavator head, how long the stacks remain, and how long the hole/crater remains

    3) Mix & Pour

Hardhead teleports in his smeltery-cement mixer attachment, which gathers up unusable ammo drops, generating <X0, X1, X2, X3> stacks per ammo cartridge collected (the amount of stacks is NOT increased by ammo mutation mods or auras).  Once 100 stacks are generated, the ability can be reactivated to create a tall wall with <Y0, Y1, Y2, Y3> health.  A maximum of <100, 200, 300> stacks can be stored and a maximum of 3 walls can be present, but only 100 stacks are used at a time.  If a single wall is present, it has 100% of its health.  If two walls are connected (touching), they each have 125% of their normals health, and if three walls are connected, they each have 150% of their normal health.

Power Strength affects the health of the walls

Power Range affects the size of the walls (but only slightly)

Power Efficiency ALSO affects the number of stacks necessary to generate a wall

    4) Big Bertha

Hardhead teleports in both his attachments and combines them with parts of his armor to form a giant mining laser that fires a beam that causes a large explosion <X0, X1, X2, X3> meters in diameter.  The explosion creates a giant crater <X0, X1, X2, X3> meters in diameter and depth; it uplifts large rocks <Y0, Y1, Y2, Y3> meters in height with <100x Y0, Y1, Y2, Y3> health each; the explosion and shockwave ragdoll and knock enemies away <Z0, Z1, Z2, Z3> meters.  The explosion deals <A0, A1, A2, A3> Blast damage.  The crater stays open for <B0, B1, B2, B3> seconds.

    Power Strength affects all parameters

Power Range affects the distance the beam can reach

Power Duration affects the amount of time the crater stays open

  5. I posted a new Warframe concept on here a while back.  His name is Saboten, and although I feel the concept is still good, I haven't really done anything with it, and have come up with a better concept I'd like to post.  So, I was wondering if Saboten could be taken down somehow, unless the community feels I shouldn't abandon it?

  6. I really hate it when I go to put a mod on a primary weapon but can't because it's already on my Sentinel's Weapon.  I would have to take it off the Sentinel's weapon or fuse another copy, and I don't want to have to fuse another copy or decrease my Sentinel's damage output.  Besides, I think there could be some real potential for interesting gimmicks related to the Sentinel's abilities.  I don't have any ideas right now, but another fun thing might be giving Sentinels more unique Precepts.  I'm going to try and think of some unique Precepts right now, although I've only used Helios, Wyrm Prime, and Dethcube.  I'll update this post with any more ideas I come up with.  Of course, the community could always add...

    Dethcube

Deth From Above - At max rank, gives Dethcube a 10% chance to launch a carpet bomb instead of firing its weapon.  Damages enemies in a line in front of your Warframe (actual damage numbers up to suggestion).

Changelog: 7/26/15 - Deleted "Bouncing Deth" and replaced it with "Deth From Above"

  7. I just finished a mission where I scanned a Runner, but when I went to check my standing in the Relay, it showed I had the same amount of standing that I did previously.  My "Extra Standing Possible" is at 0, but I thought that Synthesis Targets didn't apply to that limit.  Is anyone else having this issue, or do Synthesis Targets actually apply to the Extra Standing limit?

  8. Did you guys actually make it so that Vauban's Vortex scales with range?  It doesn't seem like it.  It could be that I'm not noticing it, but it really seems like it has the same range.  Also, If I equip a rifle and have my Dethcube equipped, I can't put a mod on my rifle that's alreay on Dethcube's Deth Machine Gun, and vice-versa, even if I unequip Dethcube.  Was this intentional?  Lastly, I'm not sure if anyone else is having tihs issue, and with the mods the way they are I'd have to look again, but when the mods used to pan slightly, it seemed like the pictures were in a frame, but they weren't synced, so the picture would be obscured, but you could see a blur in the shape of the starting picture.

  9. I've been getting some weird errors:

    1) The first time I solve a cipher in a mission, it gives me 1/1000 for the Cryptographer achievement

    2) I was modding my Paris Prime, with no companion equipped, and it wouldn't let me equip mods that I had on my Dethcube's Death Machine Gun, plus it didn't prompt an auto-resolve like it has other times.

These are the only 2 I can remember, other than a bunch of Dueling Room glitches that I don't feel like typing out.

  10. For some reason, my chat is all glitched.  I'm not sure if it just needs a while or if it really is a bug, but it doesn't show any of the tabs, and the scroll bar is out of place, as are several other things.

  11. I'll have to post a picture of it later, but it's a sort-of cylindrical room with 4 trees, two recesses where there are pressure plates and lockers, and a platform all the way up at the top that usually has a few canisters.  There are also 4 lasers that form a square around the center.  I can never get up to the top using parkour.  Things don't seem to respond for me.  I can never run up high enough, jump high enough, or switch directions fasst enough to get close.  I feel like DE needs to rework that room.  Anybody have advice, tips, or agree with me?

  12. I should've said this when I figured it out, but Extinguished keys are glitched in ODEs.  I retain my 1110 shields with my Rhino Prime.  Re-learned that Extinguished reduces damage, and Decaying reduces shields...so, yeah, no problem anymore, not that there was one in the first place

  13. Is there any chance I could rename my female Raksa kubrow?  I named her Snowflake because she was pure white, but now she's more cobalt or slate, and Snowflake doesn't fit that.  I'd name her...uh...hmm...this is hard...I can't think of any names for a female navy blue kubrow.

  14. I keep getting the dialogue and text for the "/Lotus/Language/G1Quests/KubrowQuestHint4".  It is said by the ship, not Lotus, and I got it BEFORE I rushed my Kubrow egg's hatching, and still get it AFTER I come back from a mission (whether I complete it, fail it, or abort).

Broberon as Kamen Rider Ryugen. I didn't think there would be so many Gaim related posts

I thought the same thing, and I saw one that got quoted.  I've seen so many other references from childhood stuff and things I didn't think other people would be into...I belong here :3
