  1. Sweeping surge aug for excal. If you feel like you have a strong weapon that could use that multiplier fast then this is it. Definitely one of the faster ways to build combo and quite safe as well as you turn invincible while dashing. If there are multiple enemies then you keep dashing automatically building insane combo plus being unhittable entire time so you can even avoid crowd control or nasty attacks.

    Some more trivial examples:

Nyx with assimilate aug and Lenz. Really effwctive against infested excav. Can use operators dash to get around, pick excav power units.

You can also give your dangerous grenade launchers, lenz etc to wukong clone or similar abilities. They dont take self damage and they have unlimited ammo.

Use mag's bubble against infested alad v. Takes care of him real fast.

Hydroid's 4 is super effective against juggernauts and jordas phase 1. They arent hard to kill, but that ability does it basically automatically and its funny to see such a big mob tossed around like that.

Speaking of jordas - velocitus is great at killing that thing. To boost your damage use odonatas first ability. Despite itzal and amesh being superior for general play, for raw damage boost for archgun odonata is the way to go.

    Riven stuff:

Kill enemies while sliding on plains, like dargyn pilots is quite easy with ash shuriken.

Killing dargyns in general can be a pain, finding them more so. Gliding while using a bow etc. All of that is easy if you go to kuva fortress sabotage mission. A few dargyns spawn before the first door every time. Kill them, abort mission, do it again. Fastest way for anything dargyn related unless it involves their pilots.

Undetected 30lvl exterminate. Mission named adaro. Easy to play with ivara. Build for efficiency and duration, activate stealth, use roll to move. Perfect weapon is fulmin - unlimited ammo silent shorgun.

Kind of wish there was profit stats for these, kind of like how it tracks Eidolon capture/kills. I would say maybe 20-30 runs? I haven't done a lot, I know that much and I haven't gotten it.  Didn't even know it was a mod that dropped from it.

I've been more on the farm for Sabot Rounds from the third heist and from transmuting a ton. I don't think it exists 😡

Even devs know this is a lackluster boss, thats why its not in stats

  3. Completely agree with OP. Some say people just want more power, sure we do. The most important thing is working towards something. Gaining resources for three weapons... thats laughable. You guys probably also considered umbral mods as "content".

You only have to look to the bosses of another open area in the game. Arcanes might need some rebalance, but they give options. The fights arent super mandatory either. You either collect sets for yourself, for selling or dont do the bosses at all and just buy them from other players.

Ask yourself this - what sort of trading does profit taker promote?

How many times do players actually want to kill the profit taker?

    Is that number limited?

Now compare all that about eidolons.

    This isnt rocket science.

  4. As much as id be for it, most of you fail to mention a bigger problem. How many augs are even useful? Very select few are. Some are ok, but not good enough to warrant a slot. So ok we get a slot for augs, what do we actually get? A slot where an augment sits in permanently.

I say remove augment mods entirely. Fic abilities by putting band aid aug effects on them. Then, the actually interesting ones (DE has been really failing in that creative department) make even more choice based with advantages and disadvantages. Wait didnt I say to remove augment mods?!

Indeed. Now make them as something you unlock by leveling a frame (add some new potato if you have to) and choose in your abilities screen.

  5. Ash. It is more effective than people think... but at the same time I have found more versatile or easier frames to play such as mag. However, I have played so much ash that I try to fit him into stuff. Unfortunately fortuna's bounties just dont fit him that much, unless I just cast invisibility, spam shuriken and snipe everything.

  6. Two points on this.

First, generally the riven prices on trade chat or even fanmade websites. Someone is selling a riven for like 10k plat. Its not even at the top condition. There are enough of such salesmen that I can easily say that most chat is basically spam.

On other hand, we have external website like wf market. I have noticed that there are people who just dont look at the prices. I mean in some cases I had to tell that they are overpaying. In other cases they just round up the price which seems fine. The weirdest ones are the sellers that can see the average price, but choose to overprice or underprice. Now in second case there are bands of scammers that set multiple copies of items at lower prices that they dont have in hopes that someone matches it.

Last case is when someone is weird enough to go and try selling something for like 20x less. Had a case for that. Asked a guy three times if he is sure. Im no angel so I bought it. Oh well...

  7. Overall a few points:

    Rewards and their scaling:

plenty of content where it may take many tries to get some rng reward which is fine, but you gain nothing of value from all the tries that you do. No incentives to even do random missions on some planets.

Longer endless rewards are not adequate either.

Melee 3.0: it has been hyped for a long time so might as well get it over with.

Enemy types: similary to rewards, there is hardly any incentive to play some planets or missions even for just fun. I think some enemy types even with just a little variation would help to spice it up. Now we are just slaughtering enemies like animals. Literally a lot of them pose as much threat as floofs.

Overall more focus on core gameplay rather than minigames.

  8. Primaries have more variety overall. However, some secondaries are just super good. Kitguns have exodias which can add some flavor. Personally my favorites are mara detron (its really good for mags bubble) and pyrana prime (with arcane velocity its basically a shotgun machinegun that is just hilarious). Overall if you get interested in something - get it. I have used mostly melee weapons and some shotguns for couple of years, only then I found other weaponsfun due to evolution of the game andmy playstyle.

  9. I will admit that I sometimes do this when trsting stuff for real mission scenarios or... yea just be overconfident. I wont complain as its my fault for bad build or bad play (admitedly orb vallis has so much bullS#&$ knockups and son that I just rage about while wondering how I died). Some people do run past your corpse while there is no reason for them to. Accidents do happen, lets not pretend they dont.

  10. ofcourse it needs to be swapable. aura really has to be part of the loadout rather than minmaxing the mod capacity. i dont care if i used loads of forma on that already, just let me change it. imagine wanting to actually play cooperatively (shocking concept i know) and wanting to switch auras. well you are out of luck then. now idk about the polarity of the latest power donation, but lets assume i want to switch around from CP, Growing Power, Steel Charge or PD (honestly i dont even see any of the auras other than those being useful). i cant do it. it is literally anti-cooperative restriction that has no place in this game.

also CP is overrated. it is fantastic if everyone has it, but questionable choice if you are the only one with it.

some things might have looked right when the game was in beta/release time, but at this point some of these things are just plain outdated.

  11. well its not going to be fantastic right away. from what we have seen about melee 3.0, the weapon swapping will be much smoother to a point where you can switch weapons multiple times during jumping before hitting the ground.

the obvious will be to use your primary while jumping, just to use a massive melee charge attack when landing on the enemy to finish them off. thats assuming we even need that ammount of damage.

Unless like me you haven't done the Alad V assassination yet, in which case it's going to take days waiting for the invasions that give the nav coordinates.

' Mutalist Alad V Nav Coordinates as a battle pay reward from Infested Invasions or Orokin Derelict Survival/Defense reward or resource caches from Hive Sabotage, '

Days eh. Could also literally buy the keys or the coords from other players.

Cautious Shot and Power Donation aren't in the drop table at all, they don't drop in Arbitrations or they are just cancel ?

you get some points for doing these alerts regardless of what drops. then you use those points at the new vendor at the arbiters of hexis. there is no rng involved in getting them.

Lol, true words spoken in jest.

Not only have DE become predictable in their grind they still don’t understand the concept of risk and reward. One life, no revive but the reward for staying in mission and risking everything is a 1% extra on mod drops?

you know using those sentinel mods that revive you? forget those.

also those thousands of plat you spend to max out arcanes so you get an extra revive for end game content? yeah forget those too.

    enjoy your 3% dropchance. ;3

  15. i remember when i started playing i had trouble surviving. then i found everyone's favorite classic warframe - rhino. so damn tanky. then i played frost prime, because i felt like a badass (it was painful to farm him back then) and he was unkillable inside the bubble. and then i wanted to use other warframes. it was really damn difficult, everything seemed so squishy. i blamed the game, kept playing rhino.

eventually i managed to learn how to move around to avoid most of the damage. sidestepping alone would make me take the least ammount of damage in most missions, hiding behind pillars etc, thats how much difference it made and the playstyle made sense considering i was using shotguns.

then i started to use melee almost exclusively. it was difficult to die even with squishy frames.

parkouring makes it difficult to hit enemies i agree, but you get used to it eventually and general positioning ability means you will be shooting only when you can hit and not get hit.

now i can make it work with most frames. i dont need as many survival mods as before. i sometimes still die like a punk, and game still has plenty of silly stuff like bombards and so on, but hey.

There are many nodes out of your way of doing some has been gated behind terrible archwing mission and just today i have seen atleast 3 people saying that the unlocks on the profile only count if you are the host.

dont know if the host issue is real, if thats the case then its obviously a bug.

as for archwing, they are easy and quick missions anyway. maybe interception is more annoying, because its interception. also consider this, DE has shown us the railjack which obviously involved archwing gameplay. everyone was hyped,  and then they postponed the mode. what would you do if it was released? you wouldnt play it because its archwing? everyone would be unprepared for it and tbh it would be a huge fiasko. though obviously they have to make huge improvements to archwing in general, some things dont work since day 1.

Not cant. Its annoying as fck. And boring as fck. And sucks no one told wed have to do so sooner than on the day of the supposed update so I wouldnt have to sit through 10 boring and annoying low level resident sleeper trash in a day of the update instead of doing new missions. Pretty fng simple.

oh what a disaster, 10 missions that you can do in 10 minutes.

you do realise that a lot of content in warframe is done dozens of times. most of the alerts are the same missions, same tilesets that we are talking about just slightly higher level?

just rush them. its an arbitrary requirement, i would definitely agree, but come on if you are a higher MR player you would be used to warframe's content by now. why are you so impatient?

i am MR25, i dont see a huge problem in this.

  17. scaling rewards for everything should be a thing. also entire kuva fortress should give kuva rewards. i mean its a damn kuva fortress, how difficult is it to find kuva in there?

variety of acquisition methods would make getting kuva less boring. also kuva fortress is a really well made tileset so why not use it more (though i agree that sometimes its a bit confusing to navigate).

  18. it is weird that people havent done most of the content already. level 1 missions? well... what level 1 missions exactly? pretty sure that in the old starchart you basically had to go through most of the missions to reach the planet boss just so you could move on to the different planet. now you have to do most of the missions to unlock the paths to other planets as well. the exceptions are planets that lead nowhere, like kuva fortress.

so the question is... what are you even talking about? it doesnt make sense.

even then, if you want to do high level content, how come you cant rush a few easy missions in like half an hour?

this is just plain stupid even if i agree that the requirement is quite arbitrary. well better than having mr6 ruining the missions tho, trust me without this requirement we would have dozens of threads with that issue instead.

focusing on the real issue, like droprates and loot table should be the priority. the vendor doesnt even seem to be having much to work for. couple of mods and some cosmetics. thats not enough really.
