  1. I've always hated that the base stance for Nikanas have them sheathed and it's always made Decisive Judgement look stupid because there's no proper draw animation for each attack. Honestly, most kenjutsu stances involve holding your sword with two hands instead of the battōjutsu style of quickly drawing and sheathing. This would be a more appropriate base stance:

I mean Blind Justice already has unique idle and draw animations. Just make the current stance fixed to Tranquil Cleave and give Nikanas a good, proper base stance.

    Fixed that for you

Dude, I have no idea what argument you are trying to make. You keeping changing what you're saying, making these broad claims with no real evidence or data to back it up, and completely ignoring everything anyone else says. Do you even know what argument you're trying to make?

I find it hard to believe that a MR 23 player can get this far in the game without a basic understanding of weapon stats and damage scaling. This feels like an attempt at trolling, but you're putting a baffling amount of effort into it if it is.

Exactly. My point is that it won't matter the superior fire rate, or the crít chance on the Dread, or the Puncture on the Paris because, just like the Vaykor Hek has superior utility and damage compared to the normal Hek, so too would the alt fire Cernos Prime, with the superior utility and damage. And just like the old Hek and the new Vaykor Hek, so too would be the old bows and the new Cernos Prime, the old ones being outclassed and having no more reason to use

    ???

You do know that the damage is spread across all the arrows, right? I think what you're expecting is for the alt fire mode to triple the Cernos Prime's damage since all the arrows are condensed, which is positively ridiculous. Cernos Prime will always under-perform against all top tier bows due bad damage type, bad crit/status, slow charge speed. It's just simple math dude. It's the same reason Daikyu isn't top tier despite only having 10 less damage than Cernos Prime.

And Hek still beats Vaykor Hek in multishot. So what? Doesn't change the fact that Cernos Prime would outshine not only the Rakta but also the Paris Prime and the Dread. You could argue that the reload and charge speed for the Rakta would keep some players with it, doesn't change the fact that nobody would use Paris Prime or Dread anymore just because the Cernos Prime plays exactly the same but with more damage.

Only a fool would judge weapons purely on damage. Rakta will still be better than Cernos Prime because it has higher DPS due to it's superior reload spead and firerate. Dread would still be better because of superior crit and staus stats and having slash as it's main physical damage. Paris slightly edges it out due to puncture damage and superior crit stats.

Also, I don't even know what Hek and Vaykor comparision is supposed to prove. You do know that that proves my point since Vaykor has superior utility and crit stats as opposed to just straight damage and multishot, right?

Why? So people would use only Cernos Prime and forget about all the other bows? If all the damage was focused on just one arrow, it would be the strongest bow to date, it would make all the other bows get forgotten. Today, it's the best bow to deal with a crowd, but for that it sacrifices single target damage  (and not that much actually). Today you can choose to got to a mission with a bow for single target or one more focused on dealing with a crowd. You pick the one best suited to the mission. There is absolutely no reason for an alt fire mode

No it wouldn't, Rakta Cernos still beats it out b/c of firerate and reload speed.

  6. Mesa and Saryn have been buffed and I find them way more fun than they used to be. Excal and Valkyr are still top tier and have other really useful tools in their kits. Ash... could use some more tweaks but I wouldn't call his rework a "nerf", it was more of a fix. Bladestorm was straight up broken and didn't fit warframe's playstyle at all.

  7. Please make Ash send clones to attack after the initial assassination so we don't have to sit through a longwinded animation for the 1000th time and have smokescreen be recastable. Doing this will allow him to have some level of survivability that isn't dependent on spamming 4 all the time.

Keep the range limitation but have Bladestorm use energy on initial cast and drain energy over time but have no cost for actually marking or killing enemies. Remove the energy reduction bonus from Smokescreen and have it give you a stealth damage multiplier bonus instead. This keeps the synergy between his kit and allows him to be competitive with other DPS-orientated frames, but still gives the player a level of interactivity that's makes Ash actually fun to play.

  8. If it's a PUG then a few reason why people leave are:

    1. They don't think the current team is good enough to get to 20 waves time efficiently

    2. Something IRL comes up

    3. They're only after Neo

    4. They were affinity farming and got all they needed

Honestly if it's that much of a bother, go to recruit chat and look for a party willing to stay 20 waves.

  9. It's perfect the way it is now. It scales better and requires actual effort to use rather than holding LMB brainlessly. The reticle decrease comes with a damage multiplier so you can single out high-priority targets. You can also just move your cursor more to kill the things you want or simply recast Peacemaker to get the wider range. Also, range benefits shooting gallery which is pretty much essential on Mesa for CC.

  10. The relic system doesn't change anything. Do you really want 100 different relics diluting loot tables? It'd make it almost impossible for anyone to farm the things they want b/c getting the relic that you want would be a pain. Unless they have a unique node for each type of relic, the vault still needs to exist.

    ======UPDATE - 6:32 p.m. EST=======

Hey Tenno, it's 6:32 p.m. EST. We are currently looking at at least 2 more hours before The War Within's release. The sad truth of itterating builds with quests is that even the smallest change requires us to completely test the quest from start to finish, which takes quite some time. We are so close, but we just need to do the motions for quest progression. We are so sorry to keep you guys waiting - your patience has been incredible during this time, and we cannot wait to finally get this content into your hands.

    =============================

    PC Tenno,

We have arrived at the final week. It's almost here. Your patience has got you this far, and now it's the final stretch which is arguably the hardest part!
The Update is expected to deploy later this week.

2:01 p.m EST Update: Update still expected to deploy later this week, will give you a better sense around dinner time!

5:37 p.m EST Update: The Update is expected to come Friday afternoon! We'll spend the evening polishing up the various bits needing extra care (and of course stuff in an extra feature or two)!

3:49 p.m. EST (November 11th) Update: Still a couple of hours before we can safely deploy. 6pm EST is our target release time!

5:40 p.m. EST Update: We're close! Hopefully one more build will do the job, looking at 7pm EST to be safe.

At the time of writing, the Update is approximately:

    3.1 GB

    3.5 GB!

As always, this thread will be updated with meaningful news as we get it!

Visit https://warframe.com/thewarwithin for more information on what to expect!

Ivara has bigger issues than a small "improvement" to her 1st ability.

What issues? Ivara is as close to a perfect frame as you can get. She has the most versatile kit in the game. She can provide CC, has high survivability, can do tons of damage with her ult or Navigator, she moves fast and has high energy, and she can work effectively solo or in teams.

Most importantly, She has a bunch of different builds that are actually fun to play and are viable in most game content. I have a hard time thinking of any "big issues" unless you want her to have nigh-immortality or giant AoE nukes.

  13. I like this idea, as long as it remains a one-handed action (otherwise it's just be a weaker version of Pull). Tap 2 to levitate (like Trin's L1) and tap 2 again to throw where your crosshairs are pointing at. There aren't a lot (or any, I think?) objects in-game with interactable physics so I guess this ability would only work on enemies. It'd probably be great for throwing high-priority enemies down a hole or off a cliff.

  14. This issue, which was supposedly resolved months ago, is still persisting. Instead of taking the energy color of your weapon, it takes your energy color and overlaps it with the purple muzzle flash. Very similar to the issue with Atlas and Petrify that he used to have.

I thought it was common knowledge to run solo Capture missions to do synthesis target scanning?  I mean, many of us have been doing this for years. It is the quickest way to get it done. I can't have my targets showing up in the middle of a sortie or survival mission, that's distracting. I get it over with right away through Capture missions.

This isn't about that. Sure, I could solo synth targets. My point is in casual play, I shouldn't miss out on syndicate points because someone wants to be a jerk or doesn't know what they're doing. This would save a lot of grief for a lot of players, like when DE fixed Tonkor bouncing teammates. It's benign, but it's an annoyance a lot of people have to deal with for no good reason.

Because you think DE can change the whole game just because random people in missions are sometimes stupid or don't pay attention to details that matter to YOU ?

Either you play solo, with friends or clan members, or you don't complain about people's stupidity or mistake.

And nothing prevents you from running missions solo just to achieve your simaris' quest before running with randoms.

I've never seen someone so aggressively adamant about promoting toxic gameplay. Congratz.
