Yes. Yes it is an issue. The whole team being wiped out INSTANTLY is an issue. Enemies taking seemingly no damage even BEFORE immunity is an issue. My Hema with 3 elements completely wrecks lvl 30-40 grineer but tickles sentients. They are cheese-bait, unfun, and lazily designed to counter the absurd DPS of maiming strike and other exploits- I mean mods.

The fact that these are the only enemies that COMPLETELY wipe the smile from my face shows they are an issue.

Is that so? They are not so durable without an immunity actually. I remember that their armor is not that high enough. Which Sentients you have seen in Lua? Are we play the same game?

I have seen Oculyst, Conculyst and Battalyst, and all of them are not even need for a corrosive proc to kill. Battalyst have a skill that temporarly immune to all damages while attack, but that's all. They don't have that much high armor and you can simply shoot them to death by most weapons.

I admit that these annoying sticks are quite powerful enemy, especially for Conculyst that unleash AOE laser beams for a while. They are one of the most powerful non-boss enemy type on the game. But that's not unbearable either, for we can make some step backwards. Your game on mobile defense mission was ruined, though, but you can deal with them before put the datamass, you know, as we does when we expect sudden onslaught for the assassins before put the datamass - it is not a wise idea to keep proceed the mission if you got an assassin all the times unless the assassin is very weak. Why you are bothered to face both the enemy waves as well as Sentients at once if you can't bear both of them them by once?

Immunity is not an issue, because you have THREE weapons, not only one, and some warframes also can cause the damage as well. On The Second Dream you may not prepared, but you know how Sentients does, so you need to be prepare for them, as we change the weapons and settings for the type and faction of the enemy each times. Is it giving you too much credit to have a sidearm with modded for the diffrent damage type only if you need to deal with the Sentient? I don't think so, for you can face them because you are on Mastery Rank 5 or more. You should able to do that at ease, and it is your problem if you don't.

  2. All Tenno are able to carry up to three sets of weapons for a reason, for both fluff and reality. Sentients are intended to be designed as a tough enemy, and even without their immunity they are quite powerful.

In the first contact we may fail or have a hard time, but it will warn us that Sentients are powerful that much, so it is fine to leave the first contact against the Sentient - actually, we should face them first because we need to keep in mind of their annoying trick.

And, we have already much good and easy way to bend their tricks. Provided you have two sets of the weapons, you may fire a weapon, switch to the other if the enemy raise the immunity much. You may fire your skills with a damage type to trigger their immunity first too. Void Beam makes them just a paper, but even without them we can deal with them well.

I think that a player with Mastery Rank 5 or above is expected to have at least two sets of weapons from primary/secondary/melee with diffrent settings of non-physical damage type.

In short, was it really an issue?

Why do people whinge so much about this topic. If you hate limbo so much, take the initiative. Back out, select matchmaking options and put it solo. If you end up in a stray portal you literally can press the dodge button to get out. Don’t like the stasis and cataclysm? Simple fix, don’t stand in it. There is a thing called logic, maybe you should use it. Because there is no way enough players will back you on this, nor will DE put in a button tailored specifically for you.

Do you ever realized that it is an ONLINE game? It is not a solution, ever. As you say, we have to bothered to avoid them all the time and it have no problem at all... which is nonsense. Think before post.

I remember a sortie def where the other members told me not to use cat and stasis, 3 seconds later there all was in bleedout. 2 rage quit and the remaining player stuck it out for remaining 7 waves using stasis.

You need to make the size of cataclysm smaller enough to only catch the objective. -_-; Anyway defense mission needs to kill the enemy - they may bleed, but they need to have a way to protect themselves while also able to fight. But Cataclysm+stasis blocks our attacks too. In MOBILE defense mission it is not a problem at all but in defense mission we need to kill.

  5. The more problem for making Gara is ridiculous amount of resources only available for fishing and mining. Actually, fishing part is somewhat fine for what you need is gather 35 zap fish. But mining.... well, that is just nonsense. More than 100+ stones, fully randomly generated, and need to be upgraded... is it really intended to make? I don't think so.

Gather the blueprints by Bounty is annoying as hell, and is boring, but that's just the tip of an iceburg.

The only thing I kinda miss is the old skill-based double wall jumping technique that was mandatory to reach numerous secret rooms and hidden paths:

Nowadays, feels like no skill is required, just run up any surface, none of that timing based backflipping madness like before.

... Still objectively much better today though.

That's why I miss nothing. The old control system was kinda bugged. After back to the prime system this year I am really enjoy new control system.

I don't agree with reporting for idle, sometimes you gotta poop.

That can be solved by make a chat with 'sry afk for Xmin'. But what I saw are intentially want to do nothing, just move around or stat idle on the defense mission THEN roam the room to gather the items. That's just trolls, not the players with accidentally need to afk.

  8. I have three reports for idle during last 24 hours. It is annoying as hell. I didn't face so many idle gamers like today either. -_-;; The more problem is it doesn't connected to acolyte mod farming.

I don't care for the players with low dealing capability, as long as they are try to do something. But keep idle intentially is just make me baffled.

Well, are DE punish them heavily, or just leave them?

  9. Limbo is the most annoying teammate if used wrong. Apart the toxic players, it is Limbo and Frost who mostly ruin the game, and because Frost only did it in Infested mission Limbo is far worse.

Sure, we have a few ways to go around the annoying thing, but it is limited, and annoying to do so too.

I value the usefulness of Limbo in right place, and many random Limbo teammates I have seen are did it well, but if someone is ruin the game by wrong choice almost all of them are using Limbo.

In short, he is very powerful frame in right place, but he requires too much sacrifice to the teammates as well and we need to understand his ability to do something. It is weird design still.

  10. Volt, for he is my starting warframe, as well as a good all-rounder that able to do something in every single mission.

Also Nova, because she is also good at every missions, though you need to tweak the mod settings a bit.

Other than that, these are some useful frames for many situations

-Nekros: For farming resources. You better have one, really.

-Frost: Good at any non-Infested defense/mobile defense/excavation missions because of Snow Globe. Keep in mind that use the globe in Infested mission is no more than troll - the globe blocks enemy shootings, but Infesteds are only concentrate on melee and the globe only blocks the bullets of you and your teammates! In Infested defense missions, you better take either Vauban or Nova. Limbo is good at any MOBILE defense mission too.

-Ember: Good when you can't use proper weapons, or extermination missions. Also very good at any low-level missions that needs to kill the enemy.

Well, and, while Speed is good, but Volt is not so good melee frame because of his pitiful defense. If you want to go melee by Volt, you better acquire Volt Prime.

  11. It seems that an Infested would be held inside of the warframes....

Once I have think about the hypothesis, that the being inside of the warframes... are once were the mad adults in Zariman Ten Zero, that was mad, and also turned to Infested(perhaps), however also have the void powers as the operator does. It would answers why each warframes are able to manifest the void power, not pure as the operator themselves does, but able to make it by some specialized way. The adults are also affected by the void powers... Remember that the crews are gone and only the children are remains. In The War Within it suggests that the mad adults are killed by the children, but what if some of them are survives and turned to the subject of experiment? What about the deceased bodies? Alad V does similar thing to make zanuka, so why not for the orokin?

    There are also the counterarguments:

-In the quests and short comics it suggests that the adults are just mad, but doesn't manifest any powers. But I think that it may possible with some process.

-It suggests that the being inside of the warframes are Infested, but Infested dislikes creature that has the affinity with void, call them demon. Then how the warframes themselves are also have the void powers? Is it the combination of both things?

  12. Wow... DE. I am really touched by this. It seems that they really likes to give us a surprise.

Well, I am also shocked by the prologue. Then, it is clear why Lotus resemble Magulis - because the body of Lotus we see IS actually Magulis. I have thinking this once, that the 'execution process' on Magulis is actually remove the conscious on Magulis' body(consider the 'revive' process of Orokin that switch the body, it is nothing wrong to do it), then Lotus use the body as her on later. That would be the reason why Lotus knows much on Magulis; she would because she has her body. It have a contradiction with the script on Harrow quest, that Lotus is not aware of Rell.

And, it seems that the sentence for her was dominated by the other mind while keep the conscious of her own... That's why the seven are told that they will let her merciful death instead, if she retracts her previous statement. So.... she is suffered for century?

Also what about Lotus? Will she return to Natah? Was her decision to become Lotus affected by Magulis' body? I hope that she still have the same nature, but is it come true? I have no idea on this....

And, perhaps it would be connected to the umbra warframe....

So the complaint is not about formas, but about not having the resources to craft a forma?

I don't know how to say this nicely so I will go as neutral as possible. Based on this information, I have a pessimistic outlook for the newer player base of Warframe.

If you count time as a resource, then yes. The actual resources to make a forma are quite easy to aquire, but it requires 24 hours to make one.

  14. A custom frame that able to choose the skills on some pool unique to that one frame seems not so bad, as Chroma does(and it should provide more freedom to customize than Chroma). But not gather the skills from the other frames - reasons as described above.
