Sadly, probably not then either. I'm always at my university while this is going on so I wouldn't be able to ever chat. Hell, it makes playing normally almost impossible, but where I actually am meant to talk to people? Sadly not possible. Maybe sometime when we have Friday off I can get somewhere with a router that actually works. Until then, I'm a mute.

I can say it's definitely not from the energy of the current warframe, as I use black or red energy but the beam is purple. Coincidentially, so are my eyes, but then again, so is half my character, so it doesn't point to much.

Disappointing that I couldn't make it, but since I can't connect to the chat servers with my university's dorm internet, I wouldn't be much help. I guess I could have just stood and stared and made everyone uncomfortable. Probably what I would have done regardless of chat status.

I honestly can't tell what that is. It seems like it might be a kubrow symbol, but it's a bit different. The Minimap Symbol page on the wiki doesn't really give me any answers. Honestly though, that whole minimap seems like a mess.

Yeah, I sent in a ticket, but they're already backlogged and they're slow enough when they aren't. I just hoped maybe there was a fix for it here.

Simple as that, my chat hasn't been able to connect for about a month. It's ruining my ability to do trading and void runs, and makes even regular missions a pain when I'm not able to talk to anyone. Relays are deathly silent, even during Baro hours.
The chat box can be opened, but there's no listing of players, no tabs to click on (trade, recruiting, council, etc), and when I type nothing pops up, not even an error message. There's also a perpetually spinning circle in the top left of the chat box.
I've searched and searched, and while I've found a few people with similar issues, their fixes didn't work. Anyone have any possible ideas on how to fix it?
(Note: I'm on a university connection, so messing with modem/router settings isn't an option here. However, it happens even at my home connection, so I don't believe it has anything to do with that.)

I'm taking loadouts with different elements on most missions, just to be sure. There is no such things as "planned Stalker", these guys don't give a S#&$ about your circumstances.
True, but after a year and a half, you stop believing the Stalker even exists anymore. It just becomes a myth.

That's why I always keep a Rank 30 weapon with me no matter what I do. Incase on the off chances Stalker / Any of the other Assasins decide to pay me a visit.

Yeah, I hadn't seen Zanuka in months, but the corpus love sending me emails about my "continued interests in the Zanuka project". Too bad the representative took so long to show up, I lost interest by then.

I didn't disarm myself for a challenge at all. I did it for fun, since running through the level 7-10 alert with a level 10 melee is easy sauce. The level 30 Stalker, however, was unplanned, and was impossible to kill with a level 10 melee and a bunch of MR1's and 2's. It was an even bigger slap in the face considering it was the first time he'd decided to show up in nearly a year and a half

So I decide to unequip weapons from every slot except for a level 10 melee weapon while doing the Latron Prime Stock alert. Just for funsies. Turns out the game hates my guts. A little background for this: I've been marked by the Stalker for approximately a year-ish (year and a half, even) now. He's been a permanent no-show. Zanuka and the Grustrag Three also have me marked, almost since they were put into the game, yet they don't seem any more eager to kill me than the Stalker. So at this point I've given up all hope on seeing any of them. So I go for the Latron Prime Stock alert. Matched up with a bunch of MR1 and 2 players. Still weaklings, though it's no problem, right? Just a 7-10 mission. SUDDENLY STALKER. Level 30, ultimate power over the MR1 and 2 players. They don't stand a chance. But I'm better than that, since I- oh, right, no weapons. Melee is useless, considering it's an un-modded level 10, and, oh, whoops, I seem to have forgot to bring guns. Stalker couldn't even kill me to end it all, but we couldn't finish the mission since he was utterly destroying all the other players. It was 10 minutes before I said screw it and abandoned the mission. The Stalker was still like 90% health and he was doing a terrible job of going after me. It annoyed me, sure, but I paid no attention. Played the game for another 2-3 hours with no issue. Then, I got a bit suspicious. I decided to run another mercury level with just a super weakling melee. Surely the game wouldn't do that twice, right? SUDDENLY GRUSTAG THREE. And down I go. Yay crafting a bolt release. Very annoyed now, but I continue to play anyways. Later on, I decide to run with nothing AGAIN, and decide to try and get Zanuka. So I run a corpus mission. And guess what? SUDDENLY ZANUKA.
Why, DE? What have I done to earn this? Why must I be the target of all your hatred?

I'm pretty sure that the game itself isn't in beta, (It's been released for what, like 3 years now?) just that the Focus system itself is.
Technically it's still in beta, though it really shouldn't be anymore.

I've always been disappointed in that "feature". Are we not technologically advanced enough to have personal life support? Or are we just that incredibly stupid that we never think to carry it? I can't think of any alternative off of the top of my head, but have someone try and think of one for a week or two and they're bound to come up with something better. It's just ridiculous that we're apparently either too stupid or too technologically undeveloped to have our own personal life support.

People seem to not notice everything. Alad mentions how much he hates going through the void portal. He knew how to turn off the void cloak. he has some idea of how to work with the warframe suits. he knows what hunhows bones are. he can resist the infestation. I think he was a low level Orokin who escaped.
I was too busy being excited to see Salad again. I was wondering what happened to him after we saved him AGAIN. Seeing him rid of the infection was pretty neat, and I'm super envious of that sick scar he's got now.

The problem with Spy Sorties is the players, not the mission. The ciphers aren't that hard if you just take a moment to think about it. The timer doesn't speed up until you touch a certain number of hexagons in the corpus ciphers, so take your time before you trip the cipher's alarm, and the grineer ones are incredibly easy considering they have no time limit. Before the current spy mission's were added, I had around 200 ciphers solved with 0 failed, since they almost never appeared in missions. After the spy update, I'd say that around 90% of my cipher solving is in spy missions. I'm currently at 952 solved, 14 failed, and an average time of 6 seconds.
If you really need help, head to the spy wiki page and read up on the various rooms and tactics used to get past them.
(I will admit there is one corpus room that is always a b***h, simply because the vents are nearly always closed, and the enemies have ridiculous paths that have little to no predictability. But it rarely appears, thankfully.)

Nitain's hard to get? I play for a few hours and see Nitain out the wazoo. I had more than enough in the first week.
Just do the alerts whenever they show up. They're fairly common.

The counter reset because they were never tracking that stat before. They were only ever tracking consecutive logins. Unless they went through every player file to see exactly how many days they logged in, and individually modified every player's login reward data to match that, (which would take FOREVER) there is nothing they could have done.

I can understand your pain. I have a similar friend. We met about 8 years ago playing Halo 3, and since then we made a point to play together every single weekend during the school year, and nearly every day during the summer. Our skype calls regularly last past 10 hours. We know nothing about each other, but wouldn't trade our friendship for anything. I can't imagine if he suddenly passed. He's the reason I got past my depression in the past. Were he to pass, I imagine I'd be hit just as hard as you.
But worry not. You made the time that Animae258 was here that much better for him. Remember that. He may be gone now, but when he was here, you were most definitely one of the greatest impacts on his life, and that's something to be proud of.

Slots, Potatoes, Cosmetics/Color Palletes when desired, and possibly Forma. (People may disagree, but I've found you get dozens of Forma when you don't need it, then when you do it magically disappears. This is lower priority though.)
