  1. You do not recieve platinum in warframe.market. That is not how it works. You must be contacted in game or contact the person in game and do a trade. If no trade is made, you didn't give whatever you were selling and they didn't give you plat for it.

Note that warframe.market is not affiliated with digital extremes. It is a service by players for players, and does not intregrate with the game.

    ---

Addendum: If somebody told you "give it to me and I'll pay you over warframe.market" they are scamming you. You can contact support to undo the trade/report the scammer. Just do not let time go by, you must do this as soon as possible.

  2. I want (and there is no indication they will ever give us):

    - A secondary weapon with innate ice damage
    - More free slots for everybody
    - Better mod search
    - Foundry queue
    - Buy multiple resource blueprints from dojo at once/Reusable resource blueprints
    - The ability to move or copy rooms in dojo
    - "Retrive and Redeploy" option of resource extractor drones (the ones that you deploy in navigation)
    - Customize the key to change chat tabs

I want (and there are plans or rumors that they will add it):

    - Commands for pets.
    - Dual wielded nikana
    - The Kingping system
    - Umbra

These are all probably the same thing, or not:

    - Orbiter and landing craft with distinctive models. (update)
    - An squad orbiter ship where the players's ships dock and you can walk from one's ship to anothers's [could not find the devstream where they showed concept art for this, two hours shearching, I gave up]
    - The modular multicrew crouser ship (update)
    - Dark Sectors

    The salt:

    - Make Hema dojo research cheaper/increase mutagen mass drop rates
    - Give armor to Ember

  3. I think you should be posting this in PC Bugs subforum.

Your EE.log file would help finding the problem, however it is recreated every time you enter warframe... if you do not have the one from the time it crashed it won't be of much use.

You can enter the mastery rank test in practice from Simaris in the relay. If that crashes it, get the EE.log file en post it to PC Bugs along with a description of what you did and any error message you got if any.

You will have to wait to try the mastery rank test (for real, not for practice. You should be able to enter pratice all you want, but it won't count). The only way something like allowing you to play it more than once in a day would be via support, but support usually takes a day or two (sometimes more) to get a replay, and for then... well, the 24h are over. Better just wait the 24h. This game will teach you patience.

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

    -- Aristotle.

I gave you the only argument I know of aside from "git gud". Not that I live by it.

Now... DE's mindset? Better ask them than us. As I far as I know the best we have is the already linked video. I wish you good luck in finding an actual mind reader, I'll see myself out.

  5. Justo ahora, MrNaxeros dijo:

Is that argument from those hardcore dev players? They don't really sound like most of the playerbase... you know, resource hoarders.

I cannot claim it is from them because I do not know who those players are.

It is from somebody here on the forums, but I do not think I can find it now.

And that is farming. Just not mindless. It can yield good results, for example, waiting for the Smeeta Kavat to give you double resources on pickups and then go grab them will result in you having a lot more resources than the people who picked them up right away.

  6. hace 1 minuto, MrNaxeros dijo:

That's the problem. That "We DIDN'T want to give you a 10m vacuum all the time" is unclear because it wasn't told WHY. Just because?

They also said that they listen to some hardcore warframe players (within the company) that have strong opinions about it and that they take them seriously.

(you can listen from 1:35:50 at the video --Q--Voltage linked above)

I happen to know one argument against universal vaccum: That without it, it is easier to wait to get a resource drop, and that is something you might want to do if you are waiting for a buff that gives you more resources from the resource drop.

  7. We have deflation... In everything else, except rivens.

Everything else has been becoming cheaper and cheaper. Last thing to the list was arcanes. There is people who look at rivens as their only way to get some platinum.Whatever is done about the riven situation, it should be done carefully. It could end up being worse.

    What is DE doing?

DE has been trying to ease kuva farming, that would, in theory, allow more people to get a good roll. However, when people get a roll for a weapon they do not have or do not like, or for which they already have good riven... they will try to sell it for an inflated price.

Remember that if something is common, nobody will pay a high price for it. If people can roll their own rivens, they will not buy them.

Perhaps if they give to the demands of kuva scaling, things will be better. More Kuva is better for the platinum market.

However, if you do not get a riven for the weapon you want, more kuva does not help much. Except, you know, to get a good roll, to sell it for platinum to buy the riven you want.

tl;dr; Easing kuva farming, so people can roll good rolls. But that won't help get a riven for the weapon you want. Also, kuva scaling is good, we need that.

    Should there be regulation?

About trade being a free market... sometimes regulation is good. Ok, that sounds really bad. Regulation for the sake of regulting is bad. But regulation is good when it is about putting a price to externalities. Now is that the case with rivens? No, no at all, if that were the case then riven were cheap. They aren't. Thus, I am against regulation of riven prices.

The problem with policing the maket (put a price cap, riven becomes veiled, or forbid trade) is that people will not like it. People will look for workarounds, if possible. If you do not want workaround, the only option is to forbit riven trade. And now that will be really bad recieved. The fact that these high prices exist shows that there is people willing to pay them (otherwise, the people selling would be lowering the prices), futhermore nothing else comes close to those prices... if riven cannot be traded anymore, they need to go to a less lucrative endeavour, and people hate going to less lucrative endeavour.

tl;dr; Nope. Probably won't happen, it would piss people off.

    Should platinum be cheaper?

I know it sounds very bad for bussiness... but not necesarily.

You see... if platinum is cheaper, then these riven aren't really that expensive. Also, with more platinium in circulation, the prices of everything else will naturally inflate. I remind you that the prices of virtually everything else except rivens are deflated.

Futhermore, cheaper platinum may make more people buy it. Meaning that it does not have to imply a loss of revenue for DE...

However, we need to understand that demand is not infinitely elastic. At some point, making platinum cheaper will not bring more people. I doubt this is a gamble that DE wants to take.

tl;dr; It could work. It might inflate other prices which are already deflated. May mean less revenue for DE. Too much of a risk.

    How about better rolls?

Here is an alternative solution: give us control over the weapon of the riven (perhaps the riven shoudl be for the weapon I used when unvealing it) and making it easier to get a good roll (perhaps we can pay extra kuva for better chances - akin to relics - or to lock an attribute of the riven). Then these super expensive riven won't be scarse. If they are not scarse, nobody will pay a high price for them. Then people will be forced to lower prices.

However, I have to admit that there is a drawback to this idea: it increases the average power of the players. As a consequence, things will seem easier than they already are (which is bad for players who want more challenge), then they need to rebalance the difficulty. We have a name for that... it is power creep. It is a hard path to walk, but DE can work it out.

And, again, kuva scaling. You know, more kuva to roll something good.

tl;dr; Control over the weapon of the riven, plus better rolls, would make good rivens common. And that would make the prices fall. Also kuva scaling still good.

tl;dr;tl;dr; Everything else is cheap except rivens. Do not police. Add kuva scaling. Do not take the risk of changing the platinum price. Give us control over weapon of the riven, and better rolls, and the riven prices will fall.

    3. You can't? I'll have to check on that.

Last time I checked, you could not. Instead had to leave the simulacrum, open mods in the relay and then hop back in.

    9. I don't know if this carries over to a lot of situations, but I wish I could see my running warframe abilities while I'm in my tenno. My specific situation is that I want to see the timer on my Trinity's blessing while I'm in my tenno fighting eidolons.

I approve of this message. The indicators need other improvements anyway.

    ---

And yes, the plains still need a lot of work. I would suggest to play solo or with a team orginized before entering the plains.

  9. I believe I have been on the offending side of this at least once or twice.

    ---

    How and Why?

I am usually in favor of staying in the mission, so I vote to stay. However, I would really want to avoid a host migration at all cost, because may mean that enemies will not move, enemies will not spawn, I will fail to connect to whoever the next host is, and I will be forced to quit and lose progress.

Because of that, I will change from stay to leave as soon as I see the host vote to leave. And that can happen soon, or can happen in the last seconds. And I may not see the host changed if the connection is not the best. Usually everybody does the same, so we all leave... but not always.

I do not know if the person who stays would have rather left, and my intention was never to troll anybody. I would like to have a way to express that I want to stay, unless a host migration will happen.

    ---

Now, given this I would be in favor of extra time when somebody switches from stay to leave if:

    - The timer is already below 5 seconds.

    - There is somebody who is still on stay.

    ---

With that said. The idea of a second verification as suggested by XCalPro seems more versatile. If the game ask me if I want to stay in the situation where I will be alone, then the game could ask me in the situation where there will be host migration. That can solve both problems.

  10. Did you clean the laptop internally? Are you using external ventilation? Has this happened with another software?

Overheating is not the only thing that can consistently make the computer abrubtly shutdown. Malware and memory problems can do that too.

Aside from EE.cfg, I have no idea what else you can do about game configuration out of the game.

However, try enabling/disabling Direct X from the launcher, see if that helps. I do not expect Verify and Optimize to fix the problem (in particular if the problem does not happen only with warframe), but while you are at it, you may aswell. Also, try launching in fullscreen or not.

Try the software Realtemp to monitor the temperature. It has a configurable alarm for overheating, that may confirm if overheating is the problem.

About a possible memory problem. I would also advice to run Windows Memory Diagnostic (you should find it in administrative tools). Just in case.

Check if you have the lastest version of the drivers. Also, if you did update drivers recently... try an old version, perhaps something broke in the lastest build. In which case, report it as a bug (Warframe should work with the latests drivers, and if it is not doing that, then it is a bug), do not forget to add your EE.log.
