New mission idea!

Hi everyone,

Last night I had an idea for a new mission: it is a defense-rescuing hybrid mission, taking place in the Lua Reservoir. 

When the mission starts, Lotus'll tell us about an operator in the Reservoir closing to reawake (maybe because of a tecnical issue at his cell/capsule). He is unable to get there with his Warframe and Lotus requires our help. 

So, the mission could have 3 phases:

1) get to the Reservoir Cell and defend it from big squads of sentients or corpus until it's opened  (3-5 minutes).

2)  escort the operator to the extraction. It could be similar to the Kavor rescuing system (a Lotus's dropship waiting for the new operator where we have to escort him). 

3) (endless-mission possibility) Lotus will notice that the tecnical failure is going to extend to other cells and we can choose to finish the mission or continue to defend other cells (with a classic reward rotations AABC).

It's just an idea from a regular player, but I am really happy to share it with all of you DE team and Warframe community, hoping to recieve some feelings about it ^.^

This does sound like a fun mission type, but DE seems to be trying to keep Tenno as sacred to Players and very significant characters, like Rell.

That said, the Context is all that really needs tweaking with that. A mass-rescue op from a Full-on Grineer prison complex as opposed to their brig. Seems like an interesting mission idea.

The main issue I would have with this is if the final endless stage has unique rewards/higher drop rates of items, then there are going to be people who enter the mission with the intention of running the endless rotations only to find that the other three people just wanted the initial reward.  People already get annoyed when people leave at wave 5-10 of a regular defence when they want B and C rewards, all this suggested mission structure would do is increase the amount of time potentially wasted for people.  If this was implemented I would highly suggest that a filter based MM system for endless missions be implemented otherwise the current 'issues' that people have would just be compounded.

There could be 2 types of the mission, like elite and normal onslaught.

Multiple stages missions like Plain of Eidolon bounties, but on rest of starchart?

I like the idea, it would be nice if they could be sort of short objective missions that way it doesn't feel like a drag, but I'm in for something like that.
Also having their own mission type tag so players that don't want to participate on them, don't have to.

Although they dont occur too often, I like when Lotus says "Change of plans".
