MIRROR_ell
Nevermind. Done the testing and calculations against level 1 medium Grineer (200 armor) using an unmodded Lex (70 bullet type damage) and here are the results: 0 Corrosive Projection - 23 damage per shot1 Corrosive Projection - 29 damage per shot 2 Corrosive Projection - 38 damage per shot Doing the calculation for additive effects, here are the results: 0 Corrosive Projection: 200 armor 200/300 = 0.66... damage reduction 70 * (1 - 0.66) = 23.33 ~ 23 damage per Lex shot 1 Corrosive Projection: 200 x (1 - 0.3) = 140 armor 140/240 = 0.583... damage reduction 70 * (1 - 0.583) = 29.19 ~ 29 damage per Lex shot 2 Corrosive Projection 200 x (1 x 0.6) = 80 armor 80/180 = 0.444... damage reduction 70 * (1 - 0.444) = 38.88 ~ 38 damage per Lex shot Edited September 1, 2013 by MIRROR_ell
Darzk
So 4 people using CP makes opponents have no armor? Sweet.
Transmorphic_Wyvern
So 4 people using CP makes opponents have no armor? Sweet. -20% if they're all maxed. Which I would assume means that they would have 20% of their armor, but in the negative values Edited September 1, 2013 by Transmorphic_Wyvern
MIRROR_ell
-20% if they're all maxed. Which I would assume means that they would have 20% of their armor, but in the negative values Have not tried this yet but from other posts in the forums, it seems that it caps at -100% arnor reduction and I am led to believe that 100% as the cap is working as intended. CitizenV
-20% if they're all maxed. Which I would assume means that they would have 20% of their armor, but in the negative values I've heard some say that with 4 Corrosive Projections, things get buggy. Instead of taking full damage (or more due to the extra 20%), enemies take no damage.
Darzk
haha, ends up dividing by 0 >.> But 3x corrosive projections, at 90%, would be pretty damn effective against, say, grineer. Then use rainbow builds and dont focus on armor ignoring abilities. Personally I use CP on Nova as it increases the damage done by MP to armored targets, and theres usually enough energy around. konfetarius
Why not just use 4 Rank 4 projections for a flat 100% reduction?
Haif
Because I only have a single projection at 30? Hurry up and get yours already so my Broncos can do more damage, Konfenoobius

Tazmanyak
Thx for the tests :) But then what is better "finally" against very high level oponents (100+): Multiple Corrosive projection or multiple Riffle Amp?
MIRROR_ell
Thx for the tests :) But then what is better "finally" against very high level oponents (100+): Multiple Corrosive projection or multiple Riffle Amp? Depending on your weapon: if your weapon has innate armor ignore/AP element, go Rifle amp since armor doesn't affect your basic shots that much(though it affects your elements) but if you're running bullet-type weapons, stack Corrosive Projection instead. Phoenix86
2-2 corrosive projection/energy siphon is still the best setup evah
MIRROR_ell
2-2 corrosive projection/energy siphon is still the best setup evah Or, if it doesn't bug out and my theory is correct, 4 x Corrosive + Trinity for EV + Ember's WoF/Nova's MP. konfetarius
Because buggy is bad. Did you read the thread? Did you? The proposition was to stack them in a manner that does not exceed 100% (i.e. 4 25% auras) reduction to see if that results in the damage bug. Haif
My clan was running 3 Corrosive Projections, a Nova, a Rhino, and a Trinity in the Infested survival mission. 90% armor ignore + ~300% damage amp + infinite energy and permanent invincibility. Its a wonderful combo. Edited September 3, 2013 by Haif
