Volt Prime can equip regular Volt's Armor, why can't Oberon Prime equip his regular shoulder pads? [SUGGESTION]

I always found this inconsistencies in fashion frame... frustrating. I have no reason to use regular Oberon over his Prime version, but if I do I lose his shoulder branches. Something so characteristic for him shouldn't be locked to his regular, especially now that we can equip the regular skin over Primes.

I didn't check this in other frames, do you know about similar cases?
