Since DE is busy with Fortuna, I wanted to make it easy for them to just only needing some new reload animations and stats without having to make new weapons and the possibility of new weapon classes after melee 3.0. On one hand, you have Nami Skyla Prime which is nothing amazing and can only use say, Carving Mantis. If you could do away with the Skyla, you can get a Nami Solo Prime with high attack speed, damage, crit etc etc. Pair that with Cyclone Kraken. Atalas' fists- gauntlet stances Ash's hidden blades- dual dagger stances Gara's glass sword- sword stances Harrow's thurible- new flail weapon class and stance Nezha's ring- glaive stances or a new heavy glaive weapon class and stance Khora's whip- whip stances Why not expand that further with unarmed melee? With the ability to mod it and use it with either gauntlet or sparring stances and that enemies can also do unarmed melee if disarmed.
