TqLxQuanZ Posted October 20, 2018 Share Posted October 20, 2018 Infested salvage and defection seem to have extremely low chance to appear instead of the other 4 types of mission(intercep, survival, defense and excavation). Is dis a bug? So far I didn't see any infested salvage and defection, survival and defense almost have the highest rate of showing up all the time. fr4gb4ll Posted October 20, 2018 Share Posted October 20, 2018 hmm, i already saw 3 defection missions in the little time i was online the last few days... guess you were just unlucky (at least for this type). not sure about the salvage type, but i think i saw one shortly after the start of arbitrations. it might be the chance of each mission type represents the amount of those types in the "normal" starmap - this being (i think) 3 times defection and 2 salvage (or was it only one?) versus many more of the other "endless" mission types. but ofc, that is only my thinking, i didn't saw DE explaining how this is calculated (if indeed) or weighted with good old rng.
