Yes i know theres ben a thousand change nightmore threads, and if you are one of those "hueahe its suppost to be dificult hueaheahu" then please just gtfo from this post.

heres why i want them to be nerfed/changed, the fireballs they shoot at can destroy a maxed ironskin + 1,2k shield and 700 health in about 3 seconds, ontop of that they have the knockdown skill just like EVERY OTHER GRINEER UNIT IN THE ENTIRE GAME, Usualy this is what happens, "knockdown" "fireball" "dead" i get knocked down, he shoot a fireball, i cant do anything because i cannot move from the spot, ive tried using the faster recovery mod but it does not help since it only speeds upp the get upp animation.

If they could be changed so they dont have radial blast, or maybe shoot alot slower, or have less shield/health, anything that would make them barable to deal with in nightmare mode would be apriciated.

We all have our bad days.

You just need a tad more caution when playing it.

NM Napalms are easy once you get the hand of'em.

However, there is such a thing as, "wrong place, wrong time."

Such moments are almost unavoidable once encountered, and you just have to stop, drop, & roll with it.

A: Sorry buddy, but it's Nightmare Mode. You can sit there and tell people to gtfo if they say "it's supposed to be hard" but guess what? it's supposed to be hard.

B: Learn better tactics. The Lotus TELLS you that a heavy grineer is nearby. She makes sure to even say it multiple times if there's more than one. LISTEN TO HER and act accordingly. If she tells you one's near, be cautious....especially in nightmare mode. Yeah that fireball is extremely powerful. So use cover. Take pot shots if need be. "BUT I'M A NINJA THIS ISN'T A COVER BASED SHOOTER" Yeah well even ninjas have to be careful against more powerful opponents, and you're playing a mission that is blatantly harder than your average ones. Again, use Tactics.

C: Nightmare Mode is best played with a team. There's no downside whatsoever. You're not there to gain exp - if you are, you're doing it wrong. You're there for the challenge or for the mods. Challenge? Go ahead and solo, but don't rage at the difficulty. Mods? Go in it with a team. If you get knocked on your &#!, then at least you have a chance of being revived.

Claps* you think i try to melle them Claps*

Um... they don't spontaneously punch the ground when you're not close enough, you know. Also, I've noticed that if you maintain firepower on them, they seem to have difficulty firing their ..flame-Torid-things.

But with that said, Napalms in general, not just in NM, do need a fix. The explosion radius for their weapon's impact is far too big for how small its apparent animation is - and nevermind that it even goes through closed doors and walls.

I actually support this thread, some of the damage those guys can put out makes you wonder if there would be any difference of having 1 hp or 1k hp cause they tend to go through that in a single hit. This is a case with many enemy types and is exactly why defensive mods are overlooked because they don't bloody do anything when you actually need them.

Thankfully the armor overhaul should help with the problem of defensive mods being mostly redundant.

^^This.  It's hard to employ anything resembling tactics when you're taking damage through a solid obstacle from an enemy you don't even know is there, who can see & target you even though they don't have a clear line of sight.  Although to be fair, server latency can play a role here as well.

I prefer to implement more harder mobs, game is super easy, im playing without any defense mods an d i dont have any problems, i want more chalanging game, for now its chalanging only for very beginners.
