Please help with swapping polarity

I recently found out that I was using the wrong mod combinations for the various enemy types.  I know how to add or change polarity with forma, but I am new to swapping current polarities between mod slots.  I set up my A, B and C loadouts for Grineer, Corpus and Infested, and once I finish getting everything the way I like it on the first loadout slot, and move to the next one, I have realized that when I go back, the polarity swaps have reset.  This happens over and over.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is there a bug with this functionality?  Can anyone provide suggestions?  I am on PS4.

polarity swaps happen for all builds.  you have to position the polarities for them to work for A, B, and C build, or in the case that I've been working on for a handful of frames, just remake the frame entirely to have another set of builds/polarity options

Never encountered this myself but you may need to exit the Arsenal first for changes to stick, I guess.

For your A B C configs to be saved you need to exit modifying the weapon/frame to main arsenal page before polarizing it, else your configs get changed automatically and that's usually more or less messy.

Thanks.  I will try doing my swaps for on configuration and then exiting to the arsenal main screen.
