Hack the gate phase of the vox Solaris quest doesn't progress if hacked at the end of timer

Nothing happened after I hacked the gate (to rescue a few guys behind lasers), probably because I hacked it in the last seconds.

I spent most of the countdown in my option menu unaware that the countdown had started. 😛

Same. but I hacked the gate well within time. Before hacking, the icon was yellow, afterwards blue but still says 'hack the gate'. Unable to progress.
