Minimap Life Support Markers Fail in Kuva Survival

In Kuva Survival missions, when Life Support is spawning far away (exact distance indeterminate) the minimap markers are invisible until the towers actually spawn. This is contrary to standard Survival behavior, where a marker appears indicating where the tower will spawn as soon as the "Life Support incoming" message plays.

As you can see in this image (8:49 Surival timestamp) there is incoming Life Support but no marker.

This image (9:08 timestamp) shows the marker appears after the tower spawns... 400+ meters away.

Prior to the Fortuna update, this happened regularly every time a tower spawned ~250+ meters away from the previous one, starting a new "cluster." Towers spawning at shorter distances were marked correctly.

After the Fortuna update, it seems like tower markers have stopped appearing at all until the tower spawns.

Obviously, the mission is still playable. However, waiting for guidance and then needing to travel long distances between towers wastes valuable seconds when it comes to actually processing Kuva.

There is also a similar bug with Eximus filter-carriers; approaching the tower too quickly seems to occasionally (~60%) block the Eximus spawn until the player moves far enough away from the tower.

  • Tested playing alone in "Friends Only" mode.
  • Reproducible simply by playing the mission; occurs in 100% of attempts.
