Hystrix in the Profit Taker Fight

Seeing as how the Orb Mother adapts to damage and can only be damaged by a specific damage type, I thought the Hystrix would be a shoe-in for the best weapon to bring. I discovered rather quickly how the Hystrix does not deal the damage type its darts are set to, but rather puts it on the proc order and nothing else. I feel like this should never have been the case and the different fire modes should have their respective element types as actual damage. It's just a suggestion, but please take a second look at the Hystrix, as it is a great weapon that deserves more attention.

I mean since Hystrix' release it is known that it doesn't get elemental damage, but the proc from that element.
So you are at fault for not informing yourself.

I'm not going to whine about it or claim a refund, it is just really confusing as warframe in general, I'm MR25 with 4 years into the game and I still need to use wiki and ask my guildmates about either new things or stuff I don't remember.
