Listing Mod Effects Rather Than Having Slots?

Granted the visual putting of a mod into a slot has its appeal.. but ALL THE MODS LOOK THE SAME. If I'm changing the mods on weapons or frames I haven't used in a while, I've got to hover and wait over every single mod to remember what its setup with. Worse I cant compare to any of the mods I've newly acquired. Even worse I have to remember the positioning of the mod I want to replace with a newly acquired mod. Can we just have a checkbox or something that toggles a mod list by type? a) selecting a mod (or empty space) in the frame/weapon will sort the avalible mod list with mods that are availible starting with the highest level equipable of the same type. Eg if you select mod 1, All your fire rate mods would come up on the top starting with the highest. Then list mods by level up to the highest level usable. Eg if the weapon is rank 15, it will only show mods of rank 15 and below.

Weapon Mod slots:

Mod 1: Fire rate 7%

Mod 2: Added fire damage 14%

Mod 3:

... etc.

Fire rate:rank 30

Fire rate rank 25

Rank 30 mods

etc...
