Depending on the mechanics of the augment mod the ability does not scale like Chroma’s 3rd ability. It can be 800% in the HUD; but only reaches to 2x damage roughly and it seems capped at there.

I think it's more due to how the buff works. Chromas works like this too now.

Basically, it's additive - it's like another damage mod. So you get diminishing returns. 800% isn't 8X total damage, it functions more like adding an extra 800% to your damage mod.

He probably means that the damage added by the augment is capped or something like that, but i personally find that this is not true, it deals way more than 2X damage, havent tested properly tho

Oh absolutely it isn't.

I use him in Plague Star, and you can tell the difference very quickly.
