powgato3
I have a similar problem. Even on low settings FPS drops around 35 each few seconds. The CPU% and the GPU% also increase and then lower again. This happen to me on the Plains of Eidolon, specially Cetus, and the Orb Vallis. It happens when enemy u other entities such enemies are ingame. However outside the open worlds I don't have this problem, only in defense missions I have some issues when there are a lot of enemies. I have these problems since 24.2.9 + 24.2.9.1 update. My specs: Intel i7-5500U nVidia Geforce 820m RAM 8 GB The game runs on the dedicated graphics card. White_Matter
I'm not sure what they have done with the latest update but fortuna in particular runs worse. More stutter and fps dips.
CazadorDeWulf
Hi I replied to your steam topic, and I'm disappointed to see that you've not checked back in on there. So I'm here now to recommend the following: Set laptop to High Performance mode in the Windows Power Settings Ensure that the laptop's built-in "silent/quiet" mode is not turned ON, but is in fact >OFF< Play plugged in at all times Good luck.
