"open squads"

I'm currently looking at am Axi Void Fissure and its level is not beatable for me alone.

So on the nav map there a number on the mission telling me there is 1 open squad.

However I don't know how many players are in that squad. I might end up in a new squad, alone...

There should an info if there is room in an open squad or not...

like: "open squads: 3 (full)"

 

or does "open squads" only refer to squads which are not full? Makes me wonder how sometimes there are 30+ open squads

Not a primary issue tbh.

Fissure missions are filled quite quickly, especially exterminates, captures, interceptions, survivals. If you joined a new squad with only the host or solo - wait for 20 seconds, somebody will deffinetly join in.

This is it. The game, however, doesn't know if you have a good connection to them and doesn't update in real time if someone suddenly joins an open squad and that squad is no longer open.

Some lessons learnt from other games. Their should be a better queuing system in place. It is made to be stuck in the star chart waiting for a squad, especially if they are not filling up fast. Would be best if you can start the que and then be able to continue free roaming and or working on your mods and so on.
