Dojo Room Dependency Issue Episode 2

Disclaimer: Pretty sure this is a bug but I couldn't figure out what bug report directory to stick it under. Also the last time I was pretty sure it was a bug, it was just a nonsensical mechanic with an explanation. I'm less sure that's what this is, but let's get into it.

I am thoroughly frustrated with this dojo system and at this point I've spent at least two days straight attempting to rebuild it after finding out how the room dependency mechanic actually works, and now I've now run into another problem that doesn't seem to have any solution. I've somehow ended up at a point where my Grand Hall simultaneously relies on the previous two halls as requirements, but also cannot be deconstructed while those prerequisite halls still exist. 

The white symbols are rooms that must be deconstructed before the Grand Hall can be deconstructed. I am constantly at my wits end with the whole dojo system, but even after all the trouble it has given me I cannot fathom how this paradoxical bullS#&$ is possible. There are no rooms left to deconstruct in the entirety of my dojo, meaning that the only way to get rid of the rooms I currently have and rebuild would be to create a new clan and lose all of my resources. I understand that DE may not have the resources for a full overhaul of the systems here, but when a significant amount of progression is locked behind... well this, it might be time to untangle that spaghetti code. If there is another way that anybody knows of, please let me know. I'd say I am at a loss, but I was at a loss three days ago. Now loss and I are old lovers and I'm sure at this rate we'll grow old and die together before the clan dojo gets fixed.

Prerequisite TreesEdit

The known construction trees for Dojo rooms are listed below. Note that items on the same level require the prerequisite from the upper level, but are otherwise independent of each other.

• Clan Halls
  • Level 1 - Clan Hall - This is the initial hall of the Dojo, and does not need to be constructed manually.
    • Level 2 - Clan Great Hall
      • Level 3 - Clan Greater Hall
        • Level 4 - Clan Grand Hall
          • Level 5 - Clan Grandest Hall

• Barracks
  • Level 1 (Tier 2) - Shadow Barracks
    • Level 2 (Tier 3) - Storm Barracks
      • Level 3 (Tier 4) - Mountain Barracks
        • Level 4 (Tier 5) - Moon Barracks

That isn't what OP is referring to. The problem is that it won't let him destroy a room unless he destroys the room it is connected to, and vice versa.

I have no idea how such a thing could happen in the first place, but it has.

I don't believe this helps in my current predicament, unless I'm missing something which I'd appreciate you to state directly instead of linking me to a wiki page that I've already been to.

Based on the map what is the room at the bottom left. It looks like the one of the halls before the one you need to remove or is that a inspirational room, hell event he one on the far left looks like the tier 2 hall. The one you are in looks like Great Hall, the one on the far left looks like the greatest hall, and bottom left is tier 3 or 4.

WP are all sort of messed up. you have to downgrade in the order you build.

I linked because this is something that should be down in that order.

Upper right room is great hall, upper left is greater hall, bottom is grand hall

Do you still have the grandest hall being demoed? And do you have any decoration in that hall you are trying to demo?

Nah the grandest hall is gone. I did figure it out after a bit of messing around. Apparently you cannot deconstruct a clan hall that is the spawn point of your dojo, but instead of telling you that, it directs you into the aforementioned hellish loop. Thanks for the attempted assistance and sorry if my reply earlier was a bit snappy. I get easily frustrated at this whole thing and may have jumped the gun on this whole post. I had my foot in my mouth about checking that page in it's entirety, because the bug is actually listed at the bottom. I just assumed that you were trying to be snarky with the whole build order thing. That's my bad.

Ah yeah thanks, I've since made use of the site to make sure I don't mess it up again. Hopefully 24 hours from now it will all be set and I'll never have to be bothered with this nonsense again. Thanks again for the help.
