official drop rate tables are incorrect

Many drop rarities in the relicRewards table are wrong. Look at the Lith S1 Relic tables.

In the Intact table, Paris Prime String (25.33% drop) is labeled Uncommon. In fact, there are no "Common" drops in the relicRewards table anymore.

In the Intact table, Spira Prime Pouch (2.00% drop) is correctly Rare, but its rarity changes to Uncommon in the Radiant table.

Lightly formatted excerpt from the July 6, 19:43 table:

I would say this is actually correct. Where are you getting that it should be ‘Common’?

DE’s drop tables seem to have fairly arbitrary descriptors.

  • Rare: 2 - 10
  • Uncommon: 10.1 - 30
  • Common: 30.1+

By these I would say the relics are correct.

In-game, the relic Possible Rewards tiers are described as Common, Uncommon, and Rare. You can see this in your lander by going to the Equipment menu, then Void Relic Refinement, and moving the cursor over any relic to see its Possible Rewards.

Edit: The tiers are described in the popup description for the relic under your cursor. You can also see "Common" if you cursor over the bronze drop chance bar in the rewards displayed on the right.

Well, there is the problem. You are comparing two different systems. One is how DE described the drops on a relic, the other is the system used for universal drop chances. These are not the same thing.

  • Both are showing the correct descriptors.
  • It is not logical to display the most common drop as 'uncommon' on the relic UI.
  • It is equally as illogical to show these as 'common' on the drop tables, when others with the same chance are marked as 'uncommon'.

Are you speaking officially for DE? Because if you're not, I really need an authoritative response.

No. But you’re not going to get one here. Why do you need any response?

  • If you look at the full drop table it becomes fairly obvious.

Ok. I appreciate your effort and concern, but I'll wait for someone who speaks for DE.

You will have to message Support. It is unlikely that they will respond to your post here.

  • I do think it will be a waste of your time and theirs. But if you insist on having DE tell you, that is the way to go.
