New To Nyx

Question

So I just made nyx (out of vanity of making the season 2 helm + getting a scarf) and I need some info.

So first, is Nyx's absorb more useful in multiplay when at lower levels (because of shorter times). Also, what exactly is the base damage at level 1 of absorb?

Secondly, I know that Nyx has a V slot almost exclusively for continuity, but isn't continuity more detrimental to the class? I mean, it makes absorb last too long and giving chaos that "ability in use" block. And it's use for Mind Control doesn't seem useful enough to justify it (if only for me since others kill the things I mind control before continuity gets it's major use).

iirc nyx also has a - polarity..

use that for stretch and flow..

or maybe i formad that polarity on... no idea.

Also absorbs actually pretty usefull if you have 175 energy atm in a high level defense.

If tons of enemys are going for the pod, you use absorb and they go for you, and you deal damage, and if they dont die, just be prepared to use chaos ;)
