Syndicate sigil questions

Does wearing them affect standing in same way doing syndicate missions/handing in medallions ie - raise main plus allied but lower one which is enemy to those two?

Also , i know the amount of standing gained will vary but are there certain mission types which are more likely to have positive /negative effect in which sydnicates it affect ? (Have noticed sm and cs both go up with no negative impact on red veil etc)

Yes the regalia you get from the syndicate will increase your standing with that syndicate. How much you get is based on how much xp you get In Mission. 

 

Each syndicate has one they are friends with, any standing gained half will go to that syndicate. Each also has one they are neutral towards, neutral will have no standing effect. One that they dislike, you will lose half the standing that you gained. And one they hate, you will lose equil amount as gained. 

 

It is is pretty easy to have max standing with 4. And technical possible to max all six, but that takes a lot of micromanaging
