Beryliberries
Hi, My laptop is known for having heating issues, which is why I undervolt it. It's an Acer Predator Helios 300. Before This update dropped, Warframe would run fine at around 80-85 degrees Celsius. However, this update has been burning my laptop up all the way up to 97 degrees Celsius. I've been running it on the lower end since this update too, and the temperature just keeps climbing. I've had friends who have similar problems on their normal PCs. WIll this be fixed? Does anyone else have this issue? If you're curious about my specs, they are as follows: - Nvidia GTX 1060 - Intel i7-7700HQ Processor - 16GB(8*2) of RAM

There not much to help with overheating problems, as any overheat can happen with other software like using Prime95 and Furmark at the same time. For this laptop, can search for more information. https://www.google.com/search?q=Acer+Predator+Helios+300+cpu+temperature+too+hot You can maybe under clock the CPU and/or GPU. For CPU at stock settings that often have intel SpeedStep or AMD Cool'n'Quiet or PowerNow enabled, can change window's maximum processor state to lower temperature, at a cost of slower speed and lower frames per second. More information for CPU: https://www.google.com/search?q=maximum+processor+state+windows What is your CPU usage? High CPU usage coming from Warframe itself, for up to a minute after loading screen, is probably shader load and initialization, which is probably normal. This can happen after game update or graphics software driver update. I stated since this update dropped, I've been having temperature issues. Previous ones were solved with under-volting, etc, which I still do and manage. It's ruled out that it is hardware based, and is a problem with Warframe. People with better rigs and setups than me have also been experiencing similar issues. I'm just trying to see how many people this is effecting. I appreciate you trying to help though! Edited August 31, 2019 by Beryliberries
